ការអនុវត្តការដាំដុះដំណាំជីស្រស់ ដូចជា ចង្រ្កុំស្វា ដំណាំអំបូរសណ្តែក និងស្នោគោក លើផ្ទៃដីផលិតបន្លែយ៉ាងហោចម្តងក្នុងមួយឆ្នាំបានចូលរួមរក្សា និងបង្កើនគុណភាពដីដាំដុះរបស់កសិករយ៉ាងមានប្រសិទ្ធិភាព។ វិធីសាស្រ្តនេះបានជួយកសិករអោយកាត់បន្ថយការពឹងផ្អែកលើធាតុចូលគីមីបានមួយចំនួន ជាពិសេសជីអាសូត និងធ្វើអោយដំណាំធន់ទៅនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងជួយកាត់បន្ថយកត្តាចង្រៃផងដែរ។

The growing of green manures such as sun hemps, legumes, sesbania at least once a year on vegetable production area has significant positive impacts on soil by maintaining and improving its quality. This method has helped farmers reduce dependence on external chemical inputs, particularly nitrogen fertilizers, and has made crops more resilient to climate change and resistant to pests.

ការកសាងចំណេះស្តីអំពីកសិកអេកូឡូស៊ីរបស់អ្នកពាក់ព័ន្ធក្នុងវិស័យកសិកម្មនៅកម្ពុជា គឺជាបេសកកម្មមួយរបស់ UCOOPIA។

កាលពីសប្តាហ៍មុន ក្រុមការងារ UCOOPIA មានសេចក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយក្នុងការចូលរួមសម្របសម្រួលវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីអំពី “មូលដ្ឋានគ្រឹះនៃកសិអេកូឡូស៊ី” ដល់សមាជិកថ្មីនៃបណ្តាញ ALiSEA នៅកម្ពុជា។ វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងដោយសមាជិកក្រុមប្រតិបត្តិរបស់បណ្តាញ ALiSEA ដែលរួមមាន អង្គការ DPA ស្ថាប័នស្រាវជ្រាវ អេកូលែន (ECOLAND)នៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទកសិកម្ម និងបណ្តាញកសិករ CFAP ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ២៩ ដល់ ៣០ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ នៅខេត្តបាត់ដំបង។ វគ្គនេះត្រូវបានចូលរួមដោយសិក្ខាកាមចំនួន ៤៨ នាក់មកពី ២១ ស្ថាប័នដែលបានក្លាយជាសមាជិកបណ្តាញALiSEAក្នុងរយៈពេល ៣ ឆ្នាំចុងក្រោយនេះ។

វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងក្រោមការគាំទ្រផ្នែកហិរញ្ញវត្ថុពីគម្រោងផាតន័រ (PArTNER) របស់អង្គការ Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA & Louvain Cooperation)។ ក្នុងនាមជាសមាជិករបស់បណ្តាញ ALiSEAតាំងពីឆ្នាំ ២០១៦ មក UCOOPIA ដែលពីមុនត្រូវបានគេស្គាល់ថា Eclosio បានចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មជាមួយដៃគូដទៃទៀតជាពិសេសគឺអង្គការហ្រ្គេដ ក្នុងការគាំពារបណ្តាញតាមរយៈសកម្មភាពជាច្រើនដើម្បីគាំទ្រក្នុងការកសាងរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធគ្រប់គ្រង ពង្រឹងអភិបាលកិច្ច កសាងសមត្ថភាពរបស់សមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាភិបាល និងសមាជិកនៃបណ្តាញ និងជំរុញដល់ការស្រាវជ្រាវ និងនវានុវត្តន៍កសិអេកូឡូស៊ីតាមរយៈការផ្តល់កញ្ចប់ជំនួយខ្នាតតូចដល់សមាជិកបណ្តាញក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

Training on the “Foundation of Agroecology” to ALiSEA's New Members

Building capacity on Agroecology of agricultural stakeholders in Cambodia is one of UCOOPIA’s missions.

Last week, UCOOPIA team was glad to co-facilitate a training on the “Foundation of Agroecology” to new members of the Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) network in Cambodia. This training was organized by ALiSEA’s Executive Team (DPA Cambodia, ECOLAND Cambodia, and CFAP Cambodia) from 29-30 April 2026 in Battambang province. It was participated by 48 individuals from 21 ALiSEA’s organizational members who joined the network in the last 3 years.

The training was organized under the financial support of the PArTNER project of Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA & Louvain Cooperation). As a proud member of ALiSEA network since 2016, UCOOPIA, which was previously known as Eclosio, has actively engaged in nurturing the network with other development partners, especially GRET Cambodia, through a series of activities to form management structures, improve governance, build capacity of board members and members of the network, and accelerate agroecological research and innovation through a small grant program to ALiSEA's members in Cambodia.

ជាទូទៅ ការចិញ្ចឹមមាន់ស្រែរបស់កសិករប្រឈមទៅនឹងបញ្ហាធំៗចំនួន២គឺ ទី១ កង្វះខាតចំណេះដឹងទូទៅក្នុងការថែទាំមាន់ និងទី២ កង្វះខាតបច្ចេកទេសក្នុងការធ្វើវ៉ាក់សាំងការពារជំងឺ ដែលកត្តាទាំង២នេះបណ្តាលអោយកសិករដែលប្រកបរបរចិញ្ចឹមមាន់មួយភាគធំទទួលរងភាពបរាជ័យនៅក្នុងមុខរបររបស់ពួកគាត់។

ដើម្បីចូលរួមដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាប្រឈមរបស់កសិករ គម្រោងផាតន័របានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលពីកសិករទៅកសិករលើប្រធានបទ “បច្ចេកទេសចិញ្ចឹមមាន់ស្រែ” ដោយបានអញ្ជើញគ្រូបង្គោលឯកទេសផ្នែកចិញ្ចឹមមាន់ពីខេត្តតាកែវទៅបង្រៀនដល់គ្រូបង្គោល និងកសិករគំរូមកពីសហគមន៍កសិកម្មចំនួន៤ក្នុងខេត្តបាត់ដំបង។

តាមរយៈវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះគ្រូបង្គោលឯកទេសបានផ្តល់មេរៀននៃការអនុវត្តល្អដែលសមស្របទៅនឹងលក្ខខណ្ឌបរិស្ថានចិញ្ចឹមមាន់ក្នុងខេត្តបាត់ដំបង ដោយក្នុងនោះក៏មានការចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍ជោគជ័យមួយចំនួនរបស់កសិករគំរូនៅក្នុងខេត្តបាត់ដំបងផងដែរ។ ចំណេះដឹងដែលទទួលបានពីវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះ នឹងត្រូវបានផ្សព្វផ្សាយបន្តដោយគ្រូបង្គោល និងកសិករគំរូទៅដល់សមាជិកក្រុមផលិតមាន់នៅតាមសហគមន៍នីមួយៗក្នុងខេត្តបាត់ដំបងតាមរយៈប្រព័ន្ធនៃការផ្ទេរចំណេះដឹងពីកសិករទៅកសិករ។

Small-scale chicken farmers generally face two major problems in their production, including the lack of basic knowledge of chicken husbandry and vaccination to prevent diseases outbreak, which have caused a large proportion of farmers to fail in their business.

To help address these challenges, the PArTNER Project organized a farmer-to-farmer training course on “Basic Chicken Farming Techniques” by inviting a farmer specialist trainer (FST) from Takeo Province to train FSTs and master farmers from 4 agricultural cooperatives (ACs) in Battambang Province.

Through this training course, the FST from Takeo provided lessons on good practices that are tailored to the environmental conditions of chicken farming in Battambang Province, including sharing some successful experiences of some master farmers in Battambang Province themselves. The knowledge gained from this training course will be further disseminated by the FSTs and master farmers to members of the chicken producer groups in each AC in Battambang Province through a farmer-to-farmer extension system.

In April 2026, under the support of Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA & Louvain Cooperation), the Tramkak Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (TrUAC) set out to buy 44 tons of Phka Romduol rice seeds from its 4 agricultural cooperative members for a resell purpose as part of their collective business.

This activity aims to promote the market for members, strengthen the production of high-quality rice seeds, improve the production system, and contribute to increasing incomes of member farmers. It is in line with the Union's rice seed supply business plan, with the support of Uni4Coop's PArTNER project.

ក្នុងខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ នេះ ក្រុមការងារអង្គការយូកូពាបានចូលរួមក្នុងមហាសន្និបាតជាច្រើនដែលបានរៀបចំឡើងដោយសហគមន៍កសិកម្មជាដៃគូក្នុងខេត្ត តាកែវ បាត់ដំបង និងកំពង់ធំ ដើម្បីបូកសរុបសមិទ្ធផលការងារក្នុងមួយឆ្នាំរបស់សហគមន៍នីមួយៗ។

Celebration of Annual Achievements!

In March 2026, UCOOPIA team participated in many General Assemblies organized by partner Agricultural Cooperatives in Takeo, Battambang, and Kampong Thom provinces to celebrate all their annual achievements.

One of the key highlights is the robust progress of the 3 partner Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs) in Baray and Santuk district, Kampong Thom province. The 3 ACs showcased women in leadership roles, significant business development, and solidarity in their actions to scale up agroecology techniques adoption, run collective business, and promote gender equity with the support of the PArTNER project of Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA and Louvain Cooperation).

កសិករដាំដុះដំណាំបន្លែជាទូទៅគឺកំពុងអនុត្តន៍បច្ចេកទេសដាំដំណាំចំរុះនេះដែលបានធ្វើអោយពួកគាត់ទទួលបានទិន្នផលកើនឡើង និងអាចធ្វើការដាំដុះបានពេញមួយឆ្នាំផងដែរ។ ការប្រើប្រាស់ធាតុចូលពីខាងក្រៅក៏ត្រូវបានកាត់បន្ថយ តាមរយៈការអនុវត្តបច្ចេកទេសដាំដុះដំណាំបន្លែចម្រុះនេះ។

The practice of mixed cropping is an ideal cultivation method and can well maintain the ecological balance in the farmers’ vegetable farms. Through farmer-to-farmer extension system, this technique has been widely disseminated and implemented by farmers in the Samaki Brasat Taing Krasaing Agricultural Cooperative in Kampong Thom Province under the framework of PArTNER project.

Vegetable farmers in general are adopting this mixed cropping technique, which has allowed them to increase yields, secure year-round production, while reducing dependence on external inputs.

From 26 of February to 01 of March 2026, Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA & Louvain Coopération) supported 5 Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (UAC) and Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs) to participate in the 19th Khmer Products and Fruit–Vegetable Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Commerce in Siem Reap Province.

The partnered UAC and ACs brought a variety of fresh and processed products for display and sales to fair goers and consumers including rice seeds, milled rice, vegetables, fruits, and bio-fertilizers grown and produced by the farmer organizations themselves after receiving technical and financial supports from Uni4Coop’s PArTNER project.

On 24 February, Uni4Coop (UCOOPIA and Louvain Cooperation) was honored to host a visit from the Belgian Ambassador, and representative from the Belgian Development Cooperation (DGD), to Samaki Brasat Taingkrasaing Agricultural Cooperative, one of the farmer organization partners supported by the “Partnership for Agroecology Transition, Networking, and Efficient Resilience (PArTNER)” project.

The field visit is a great reflection to monitor the project’s progress in promoting agroecological farming practices, collective agribusiness at agricultural cooperative level, and gender equity in the agricultural sector.

Eclosio Cambodia is now UCOOPIA!

We are thrilled to announce our transition into UCOOPIA, an Inter-University NGO dedicated to connecting universities, communities, and public authorities through sustainable and, innovative projects.
To celebrate this new chapter, we are also launching the “Agroecology Alliance for Promoting Sustainable Cashew Nut in Cambodia (CHANTI)” project!

Co-funded by the European Union and the Belgian Government, this initiative is a joint effort between UCOOPIA, Development and Partnership in Action (DPA Cambodia), and Action for Development (AFD Cambodia), to support the cashew value chain through agroecology, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and public-private dialogue.
