អង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា បានសហការជាមួយមន្ត្រីជំនាញផ្នែកសុខភាពមាតានិងទារក និងអាហារូបត្ថម្ភ ដែលអញ្ជើញមកពីមណ្ឌលសុខភាពចំនួន៦ បានរៀបចំកម្មវិធីបណ្តុះបណ្តាលពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពរយៈពេល២ថ្ងៃ នៅស្រុកត្រពាំងប្រាសាទ។

កម្មវិធីនេះបានកៀរគរអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តក្រុមទ្រទ្រង់សុខភាពភូមិ និងអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តសហគមន៍ ដើម្បីបង្កើនចំណេះដឹងលើកញ្ចប់កម្មវិធីសមាហរណកម្មអាហារូបត្ថម្ភសហគមន៍។

💬 អ្នកមីង ស៊ែម ស៊ីណា ដែលជាអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តក្រុមទ្រទ្រង់សុខភាពភូមិម្នាក់បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖
"ក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំជាក្រុមទ្រទ្រង់សុខភាពភូមិ ខ្ញុំមានតួនាទីសំខាន់ណាស់ក្នុងការជំរុញ និងលើកទឹកចិត្តសហគមន៍ឱ្យយល់ដឹងពីអាហារូបត្ថម្ភ និងការថែទាំស្ត្រីមុន និងក្រោយសម្រាលកូន។ ខ្ញុំពិតជារីករាយដែលបានចូលរួមជួយសហគមន៍ ហើយនឹងបន្តសកម្មភាពជាមួយអង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក និងសហគមន៍របស់ខ្ញុំបន្តទៀត។"

👏 កម្មវិធីនេះបង្ហាញថា អ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តសហគមន៍មានតួនាទីសំខាន់ ក្នុងការជួយលើកកម្ពស់សុខភាព និងធ្វើឱ្យសហគមន៍កាន់តែរឹងមាំ និងមានសុខភាពល្អ។

🌿 Strengthening Community Health in Trapeang Prasat 🌿

FH Cambodia, in collaboration with maternal and child health and nutrition officers from six health centers, recently conducted a two-day capacity-building training in Trapeang Prasat district.

The training brought together Village Health Support Groups (VHSGs) and Community Volunteers (CVs) to enhance their knowledge on the Integrated Community Nutrition (ICN) package.

✅ 100 participants (82 women) from 41 target villages joined the training
✅ Covered 9 key lessons
✅ Focus areas included:

- Maternal and child health care
- Reduction of malnutrition
- WASH

💬 “As a VHSG, I play an important role in encouraging my community to better understand nutrition and care for women before and after childbirth. I am very happy to contribute and will continue to support activities with FH and my community,” shared Mrs. Sem Sina

- គ្រូបង្រៀនអនុវត្តកញ្ចប់សម្ភារៈអំណាន និងគណិតវិទ្យាថ្នាក់ដំបូងនៅតាមសាលារៀន ក្នុងការកសាងមូលដ្ឋានគ្រឹះដល់សិស្សកម្រឹតថ្នាក់ដំបូងឱ្យចេះអាន ចេះសរសេរ និងចេះគិតលេខទាំងអស់គ្នា។

ដើម្បីសបញ្ជាក់ថា ការអនុវត្តទៅថ្ងៃខាងមុខកាន់តែមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពខ្ពស់ នាងខ្ញុំសូមប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តដូចខាងក្រោម ៖
១. ខិតខំអនុវត្តតាមវិធីសាស្ត្រដែលបានរៀន
២. អនុវត្តតាមគោលការណ៍ទាំងបី (គ្រូធ្វើ គ្រូនិងសិស្សធ្វើ និងសិស្សធ្វើ )

៣. រិះរកវិធីជួយសិស្សដែលរៀនយឺត។"

FH Cambodia, in collaboration with the Oddar Meanchey Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sport and the Trapeang Prasat District Office of Education, held a closing ceremony for a training program for Grades 1–3 teachers and school-based pedagogical advisors. The training focused on early grade reading, mathematics, and pedagogical mentoring to strengthen support for teachers in target schools. A total of 192 participants attended, including 129 women.

Objectives:
- Strengthen pedagogical mentoring skills of school-based advisors to support Grades 1–3 teachers.
- Support teachers in effectively using early grade reading and math materials to build students’ foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.

Recently, FH Cambodia organized a visit for a Ministry of Rural Development delegation (including four ministry officials, one department official, one district official, and one commune council representative) in the Puok District Area Program.

The delegation visited community water well groups, savings groups, and inclusive latrines at Trei Nhor Health Center, and met with group committees to learn, share experiences, and provide recommendations for further development.

On the morning of 1 June 2026, FH Cambodia, in collaboration with the Oddar Meanchey Provincial Office of Education (POE) and the Trapeang Prasat District Office of Education (DOE), launched a cascade training on the Early Grade Reading Package and Mentorship mechanism under the Let’s Learn to Read (LLR) program. The training is being held from 1 to 5 June 2026 in Trapeang Prasat District, with 129 participants, including 99 women, who are Grade 1-3 teachers and School-Based Mentors.

The training is facilitated by Provincial and District Master Trainers who recently completed the Training of Trainers on the Early Grade Reading Package and Mentorship. The main purpose of this training is to strengthen the capacity of early grade teachers and School-Based Mentors to apply effective early grade reading instruction in alignment with the Khmer Reading Benchmark and curriculum of the MoEYS. The training focuses on key reading skills, including phonological awareness, phonemic, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. It also covers the effective use of teaching and learning materials, student learning assessment, and ongoing teacher support through classroom observation, feedback, and mentorship.

FH Cambodia will keep committing to working closely with the MoEYS, POE, and DOE to strengthen early grade reading and help children build a strong foundation in literacy for their learning and future.
