This Mother’s Day, do something FUN!

Join Bonnie's Kitchen for a playful and hands-on creative miniature clay sculpture workshop inspired by afternoon tea party. You’ll be crafting tiny, delicious looking desserts using polymer clay. A relaxing and creative activity to celebrate the day together, and leave with a mini afternoon tea tray dessert, and basic clay sculpting skills.

This beginner-friendly workshop is suitable for moms (of human kids and pet kids), dads, other adults, and kids (aged 14+ with supervision). All materials are included — just bring yourself.

Decathlon Cambodia is hosting a Beginner Inline Skating Class for Kids at Raintree — completely free.

If your child has ever wanted to try skating (or just burn off some energy 😄), this is a great opportunity to get started in a safe and guided environment.

Ages: 5–17
Parents/guardians must attend
Bring your own skates, helmet & protective gear (Oxelo recommended)

In this session, kids will:
• Learn new skills

• Make new friends
• Build confidence

Set inside the brutalist former residence of Vann Molyvann, the Kingdom’s first public architecture and design library is more than a collection of 500+ books—it’s a space for ideas, learning, and community. Long before “representation” was a conversation, Cambodian women were stepping into fields where they were few—but influential. Some shaped cities. Yet many of their names have been lost to history.

In 1960s Cambodia, women began to take on roles in society that were previously unavailable to them, supported by scholarships to study abroad in fields such as engineering, architecture, and more. Many returned to take key roles in government and public institutions.

The 1965 film Femme Cambodgienne shows one woman signing official documents. She was a minister. Another shows women drafting architectural plans. Architect Lu Ban Hap recalled a female landscape designer (nicknamed “the gardener”) who shaped Phnom Penh’s greenery.

While women were undoubtedly involved in Cambodia’s cultural, social, and artistic life of the “Golden Era”, surviving records of urban planners and architects rarely feature them.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate these WonderWomen, and invite you to help revive their stories.

“Photographs don’t change the world. The people who see the photographs might.” — John Vink

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday evening to reflect on stories of displacement and repatriation through the lens of Belgian photojournalist John Vink.

The evening unfolded as a space for listening and reflection. In an intimate gathering, we heard John speak about displacement across the world—stories he began documenting over 40 years ago and which, sadly, continue today.

The night reminded us that while contexts change, certain human experiences persist. We are grateful to our community for holding space with curiosity and care, and for being part of a night that ended not loudly, but meaningfully.
