📢 វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី ការពង្រឹងការគ្រប់គ្រងធនធានជលផលក្នុងសហគមន៍នេសាទ

កាលពីខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ កន្លងទៅ អង្គការ WWT បានសហការជាមួយ ខណ្ឌរដ្ឋបាលជលផលខេត្តតាកែវ រៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលរយៈពេល ០១ថ្ងៃ នៅភូមិកំពង់ក្រសាំង ឃុំកំពង់ក្រសាំង ស្រុកបូរីជលសារ ខេត្តតាកែវ។

វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះ មានគោលបំណងពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពដល់ គណៈកម្មការសហគមន៍នេសាទ ក្នុងការយល់ដឹងអំពី សិទ្ធិ តួនាទី ភារកិច្ច បទដ្ឋានគតិយុត្តពាក់ព័ន្ធជលផល ការរៀបចំផែនការគ្រប់គ្រង និងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍សហគមន៍នេសាទឱ្យមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងនិរន្តរភាព។

WWT សូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅដល់ ខណ្ឌរដ្ឋបាលជលផលខេត្តតាកែវ ដែលបានសហការនិងផ្តល់វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលដោយផ្ទាល់ អាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន រួមទាំងគណៈកម្មការសហគមន៍នេសាទ ដែលបានចូលរួម និងសហការយ៉ាងសកម្ម ក្នុងការអភិរក្ស និងគ្រប់គ្រងធនធានជលផល ដើម្បីជីវភាពសហគមន៍ និងបរិស្ថានប្រកបដោយចីរភាព។

📢 Training on Strengthening Community Fisheries Resource Management

In November 2025, WWT collaborated with the Takeo Provincial Fisheries Administration to organize a one-day training in Kampong Krasang Village, Kampong Krasang Commune, Borei Cholsar District, Takeo Province.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of Community Fisheries Committees by enhancing their understanding of rights, roles, and responsibilities, fisheries-related legal frameworks, and the development of effective and sustainable community fisheries management and development plans.

WWT would like to express sincere appreciation to the Takeo Provincial Fisheries Administration for their collaboration and facilitation of the training, as well as to local authorities and Community Fisheries Committees for their active participation and strong cooperation in conserving and managing fisheries resources to support community livelihoods and environmental sustainability.

អង្គការអភិរក្សតំបន់ដីសើម និងសត្វស្លាបព្រៃ (WWT) មានកិត្តិយសស្វាគមន៍តំណាង អង្គការស្បៀងអាហារ និងកសិកម្មនៃអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ (FAO) សម្រាប់ដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចសិក្សារួមគ្នានៅតំបន់ការពារទេសភាពបឹងព្រែកល្ពៅ (BPL)។ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលនៃដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចនេះ យើងបានបង្ហាញពីកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងអភិរក្សសំខាន់ៗដូចជា ការស្ដារទីជម្រកឡើងវិញ កន្លែងបណ្តុះកូនឈើសហគមន៍ កម្មវិធីធនាគារក្របី និងការងារឧទ្យានុរក្ស រួមជាមួយការបង្ហាញពីបញ្ហាប្រឈមអេកូឡូស៊ី និងតំបន់អាទិភាពសម្រាប់ការការពារ។
FAO ទទួលបានការយល់ដឹងដ៏មានតម្លៃ ចំពោះជីវៈចម្រុះ ជលសាស្រ្ត និងបញ្ហាប្រឈមនានានៅ BPL ។ ដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចនេះក៏បានពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការរវាង FAO, WWT មន្ទីរបរិស្ថានខេត្ត (PDoE), ឧទ្យានុរក្ស BPL និងសមាជិកសហគមន៍។
អន្តរាគមន៍គម្រោង សម្រាប់ភាពជាដៃគូនាពេលអនាគតត្រូវបានកំណត់ រួមទាំងការគាំទ្រការកំណត់តំបន់ ការពង្រឹងការល្បាត អេកូទេសចរណ៍ធម្មជាតិ និងសកម្មភាពចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតរបស់សហគមន៍។ យើងទន្ទឹងរង់ចាំកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការបន្តឆ្ពោះទៅរកការគ្រប់គ្រងទីជម្រករយៈពេលវែង និងការអភិរក្សប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាពនៅ BPL ។

WWT was honored to welcome Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)’s representatives for a joint field visit to Boeng Prek Lpov Protected Landscape (BPL). During the visit, we showcased key conservation efforts—habitat restoration, community nurseries, the buffalo bank program, and ranger operations—while highlighting ecological challenges and priority zones for protection.
FAO gained valuable insights into BPL’s biodiversity, hydrology, and current pressures. The visit also strengthened collaboration between FAO, WWT, Provincial Department of Environment (PDoE), BPL rangers, and community members.
Promising areas for future partnership were identified, including support for zonation development, enhanced patrols, ecotourism ideas, and community livelihood activities. We look forward to continued cooperation toward long-term habitat management and sustainable conservation of BPL.

ក្រោមកិច្ចសហការជាមួយអគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានតំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិ នៃក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន អង្គការអភិរក្សតំបន់ដីសើម និងសត្វស្លាបព្រៃ (WWT) បាននឹងកំពុងគំាទ្រយ៉ាងសកម្មលើការងារគ្រប់គ្រង ស្តារ អភិរក្សជីវៈចម្រុះ ធនធានធម្មជាតិ ការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវ និងលើកស្ទួយជីវភាពសហគមន៍នៅក្នុងតំបន់ដីសើម នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។ ថ្មីៗនេះ អង្គការ WWT បានសហការជាមួយសាកលវិទ្យាល័យផ្សេងៗ ដើម្បីសម្របសម្រួល និងគាំទ្រដល់ការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវរបស់និស្សិតនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ក្នុងបរិបទនេះ លោក Chris Middleton ដែលជានិស្សិតថ្នាក់បណ្ឌិត (PhD) មកពីសាលកវិទ្យាល័យយ៉ក ចក្រភពអង់គ្លេស បានចុះធ្វើការសិក្សា និងប្រមូលទិន្នន័យ ក្នុងតំបន់ដីសើម នៃដីសណ្តទន្លេមេគង្គកម្ពុជា ក្នុងតំបន់បាសាក់ម៉ាសដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងភូមិសាស្រ្ត ខេត្តកណ្តាល តំបន់ការពារទេសភាពបឹងព្រែកល្ពៅដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងភូមិសាស្រ្តខេត្តតាកែវ និងតំបន់ការពារទេសភាពអន្លង់ព្រីងដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងភូមិសាស្រ្តខេត្តកំពត។ ការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវនេះមានសារៈសំខាន់ណាស់ ក្នុងការស្វែងយល់ពីប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ីតំបន់ដីសើមនៃតំបន់ដីសណ្តទន្លេមេគង្គប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលរួមចំណែកការផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមូលដ្ឋានបែបវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រសម្រាប់ការរៀបចំគោលនយោបាយ និងផែនការគ្រប់គ្រងតំបន់ដីសើមថ្នាក់ជាតិ។

Under the collaboration with the General Directorate of Natural Protected Areas of the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia, The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) has actively been supporting the work of managing, restoring, and conserving biodiversity, natural resources, research studies, and improving community livelihoods within the wetland areas of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Recently, WWT has cooperated with other universities to coordinate and support students’ research on the ground in Cambodia. In this context, Mr. Chris Middleton, a PhD student from University of York, the United Kingdom, has conducted field studies and data collection in the wetland areas of Cambodia’s Mekong Delta, including Bassac Marsh located in Kandal Province, Boeung Prek Lapouv Protected Area in Takeo Province, and Anlung Pring Protected Area in Kampot Province. This research plays an important role in understanding of the wetland ecosystem of Cambodia Mekong Delta, contributing to scientific baseline information for the development of national policies and management plans for the wetlands.

អង្គការ WWT បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពីការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពទៅដល់សមាជិកសហគមន៌តំបន់ការពារ សមាជិកគណៈកម្មាធិការរោងម៉ាស៊ីនកិនស្រូវ អាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន និងមន្ត្រីមន្ទីរបរិស្ថានខេត្តកំពត ផ្តោតលើការចំណេះដឹងនិងជំនាញគ្រប់គ្រងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ និងអភិបាលកិច្ចល្អ។ វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើង និងមានគោលបំណងពង្រឹងប្រព័ន្ធគ្រប់គ្រងធនធានសហគមន៍ ប្រកបដោយតម្លាភាព គណនេយ្យភាព និងនិរន្តរភាព។ ជាលទ្ធផល អ្នកចូលរួមទាំងអស់ទទួលបានជំនាញកាន់តែខ្លាំងក្នុងការកត់ត្រា និងរាយការណ៍ហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ ការយល់ដឹងកាន់តែច្បាស់អំពីតួនាទី និងដំណើរការអភិបាលកិច្ច ធ្វើឱ្យប្រសើរឡើងនូវការសម្របសម្រួល និងការជឿទុកចិត្តក្នុងចំណោមភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធ និងផែនការសកម្មភាពជាក់ស្តែង ដើម្បីអនុវត្តគោលការណ៍ទាំងនេះក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងធនធាន និងគម្រោងសហគមន៍ឱ្យកាន់តែមានទំនួលខុសត្រូវ និងនិរន្តរភាព។
WWT organized a capacity building training focused on Financial Management and Good Governance, bringing together CPA members, Rice Mill Committee members, local authorities, and officials from Kompot’s PDoE. The training was designed and aimed to strengthen community systems that support transparent, accountable, and sustainable resource management. As a result, participants gained stronger skills in financial recording and reporting, a clearer understanding of roles and governance processes, improved coordination and trust among stakeholders, and practical action plans to apply these principles in managing community resources and projects more responsibly and sustainably.

ថ្មីៗនេះអង្គការ WWT បានបើកវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាព “ ភាពជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ” ទៅដល់អ្នកពាក់ព័ន្ធសំខាន់ៗនៅក្នុងតំបន់ការពារទេសភាពអន្លង់ព្រីង និងបឹងព្រែកព្នៅដែលជាតំបន់គោលដៅ។ អ្នកចូលរួមរួមមានសមាជិកសហគមន៍តំបន់ការពារ ក្រុមសហគមន៍នេសាទ អាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន គ្រូបង្រៀនសាលា ដៃគូអនុវត្តគម្រោង និងមន្ត្រីមន្ទីរបរិស្ថានខេត្តកំពតនិងតាកែវ។

WWT recently conducted leadership capacity-building training for key stakeholders at Anlung Pring protected Landscape and Boeng Prek Lpov protected Landscape. Participants included Community Protected Area (CPA) members, Community Fishery (CFi) groups, local authorities, school teachers, implementing partners, and the Provincial Department of Environment.

This training purposes aim to strengthen leadership skills and empower local actors to effectively manage natural resources, promote community participation, and enhance a good collaboration and commitment. These empowered local leaders and key relevant stakeholders will drive positive change, ensuring the long-term sustainability of local livelihoods and conservation efforts.

WWT Cambodia, with support from the L’OCCITANE Foundation, recently organized a two-day training on “Do No Harm to Biodiversity” and “Wildlife Conservation Incentive & Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) Mechanisms” for community members, local authorities, and rangers in Boeung Prek Lpov (Takeo) and Anlung Pring (Kampot) Protected Landscapes.
This training aimed to strengthen the capacity of local conservation leaders, rangers, and community-based organizations to integrate biodiversity conservation into local development and livelihood initiatives.
By providing knowledge to those on the frontlines of conservation, this initiative contributes to long-term ecological resilience and sustainable livelihoods across critical wetlands.
