St John Phnom Penh wishes to express our deepest condolences to the family of the late Mr. David Cheng, former Zone 2 Commissioner for the St John Brigade Singapore. Mr. Cheng was a tireless leader and visionary who founded and steered the Project Ray of Light humanitarian mission to Cambodia from 2006 to 2012. Through this initiative, he united donors and volunteers to provide essential support to the poor, including well donations, food rations, health screenings, and school renovations. His dedication touched countless lives and forged lasting bonds between our two brigades. Mr. Cheng’s legacy of compassion, service, and international friendship will continue to inspire officers and members of St John in Singapore and Cambodia alike. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will endure in every act of service we undertake in his name. May his family find comfort in knowing his work lives on through the good he helped create.
