St John Cambodia Board members were pleased to meet distinguished ambassadors during recent engagements. At the Canada Day reception, we had the opportunity to meet H.E. Christian DesRoches, Ambassador of Canada to Cambodia, where we introduced St John Cambodia and shared our humanitarian and community work in Cambodia. We also had the pleasure of meeting H.E. Marcos Da Costa, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia. During the conversation, Dr. Kevin and Mr. Krishna highlighted St John’s mission in Timor-Leste through our Australian counterparts. We look forward to learning more about Timor-Leste’s needs and exploring meaningful opportunities to support its communities.

On 2 July, the St John Cambodia Board members had the honour and privilege of hosting a dinner with HRH Prince Tesso Sisowath and our Royal Patron, HH Kanhchana Pong Norodom. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to share St John Cambodia’s mission and ongoing work in serving communities across the country, while exploring potential collaborations in promoting the arts, raising awareness of first aid, and supporting future fundraising initiatives. The evening reflected a shared commitment to preserving Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage while advancing humanitarian and community health education.

We were also delighted to welcome Dr. Kevin Davies on his first visit to Cambodia. To mark this special occasion, HRH Prince Tesso Sisowath graciously presented Dr. Davies with a copy of The First Royal Apsara – Princess Norodom Buppha Devi’s Lifelong Passion for Khmer Classical Dance. The thoughtful gift symbolises Cambodia’s deep cultural legacy and the importance of strengthening international friendships through shared values, service, and cultural appreciation.
