We are a local non-profit organization and none governmental organisation established in 2004.

A non-profit and non-governmental organization with strong knowledge and expertise in livelihoods, environmental governance, sustainable natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, climate change, and disaster risk reduction. We works throughout Cambodia and collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders to create a sustainable future for the country. We promote good, sustaintable and equitable living standards and health environment throughout Cambodia. We are currently, educating and building wareness of communities and public on environmental issues and sustainability and climate change, mobilizing communities to take actions to build resilient livelihoods through various dimentions in the areas of Agriculture, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Nutrition, and so on, and building partnerships with government, NGOs, and local organizations. Our areas of focus include climate resilience, environmental protection, water, sanitation & hygiene, equality & inclusion, disaster risk reduction & response and food resilience.

Facilitated by our supported youth group, the monthly Children meeting in O’Dambang Muoy Commune, Sangkae District, Battambang province brought children a safe space to share concerns, ideas, and priorities on child rights and climate change.

Youth-Led Environmental and Climate Action 🌍🌱

This initiative shifts the approach from directive instruction to active empowerment. By providing youth with the autonomy to analyze climate and environmental issues, they can implement their own strategies using the "Right(s) Way Forward" tools for community sustainability.

To date, three youth groups have designed strategic plans for 9 target communes in Siem Reap. Moving forward, 18 community-based climate and environmental actions will be implemented across these locations.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Irish Aid and Irish Embassy in Vietnam and Oxfam in Cambodia for their generous support and partnership on the Climate Resilience for All (CREFA) Project. 🙏✨

Our Treeplanting Week 2026 has officially wrapped up! We’ve planted 10,500 seedlings across 8.5 hectares of vital flooded forest land in the Mukh Pen, Sasor Sdam, Keo Por, and Kampong Klaing communes of Siem Reap Province.

For three years running, this LIVE & LEARN CAMBODIA's signature initiative has been restoring ecosystems that protect local livelihoods, bring back fish populations, and store carbon to fight climate change. 🐟🌳

This massive achievement was powered by the រដ្ឋបាលខេត្តសៀមរាប/Siem Reap Provincial Administration, Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, local authorities, Community Fishery Committees, and 634 amazing community volunteers.

Shoutout to our incredible partners, Irish Aid through Irish Embassy in Vietnam and Oxfam in Cambodia! Together, we are turning the vision of “Climate Resilience for All ( )” into reality. 🌍🤝

អង្គការរស់នៅ និងសិក្សានៅកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី “ការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ សមភាពយែនឌ័រ ពិការភាព និងបរិយាបន្នសង្គម (GEDSI) និងសិទ្ធិកុមារ” តាមរយៈការសហការរវាងគម្រោង «ពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពអង្គការសង្គមស៊ីវិល ដើម្បីសិទ្ធិកុមារ» និងគម្រោង «ភាពធន់នឹងអាកាសធាតុសម្រាប់ទាំងអស់គ្នា» ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី០២ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី០៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦។

ក្រៅពីការពង្រឹងចំណេះដឹង និងសមត្ថភាពយុវជន វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលបានសម្របសម្រួលឲ្យមានការរៀបចំផែនការសកម្មភាពរបស់យុវជន ដើម្បីអនុវត្តក្នុងសហគមន៍មូលដ្ឋានរៀងៗខ្លួន។

LIVE & LEARN CAMBODIA (LLC) were exited to host an interactive youth training session (2-4 June 2026) on “Climate Change, GEDSI and Child Rights,” through the collaboration between the “Sida CSO Strengthening for Child Rights” project and the “Climate Resilience for All” project.

Despite the aim for strengthening youth knowledge and capacity on the topics, we also encouraged and supported our youth participants to develop action plans which are implementable in their respective community.

We believe that youth voices are powerful drivers for climate action. 💚✨

👫🌍 On the occasion of the 77th International Children’s Day, a group of children shared their concerns, participation, and recommendations regarding the impacts of climate change on their education and daily lives. This video was produced to raise public awareness and encourage collective action in responding to climate change while promoting and children’s rights. 🌱📚

Children are not only among the most affected by climate change, but they are also powerful voices and future leaders for change. Let us listen to, support, and empower children in building a more sustainable and resilient future for everyone. 💚

May 06, 2026, LIVE & LEARN CAMBODIA, Geres - Acting for climate solidarity, and Institute of Technology of Cambodia - សាលាតិចណូ, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, successfully conducted the Cooling Home - Innovative and Low Impact Living (CHILL) Project Kick Off Workshop, under the financial support of the ClimateWorks Foundation.

We were honored by the participation of a special MoE delegation led by Mr. Ouk Navann, Deputy Director General of Policy and Strategy of the Ministry of Environment, whose presence reinforced strong institutional support and alignment with national climate priorities, particularly Cambodia 3.0's implementation.

This milestone marks an important step toward advancing sustainable passive cooling solutions and low impact living in Phnom Penh through multi stakeholder collaboration.

The workshop convened 32 participants from 18 national and international NGOs and government institutions, with 10 women participants, to align on the project vision, implementation roadmap, and key baseline findings on energy efficiency and thermal comfort in urban housing.
