Equity Pathways Program: Creating Fairer Opportunities
Established in 2013, the Equity Pathways Program (EPP) helps talented Cambodians from diverse backgrounds prepare for Australia Awards Scholarships. The program supports women, people with disability, provincial communities, Indigenous and ethnic minorities, LGBTQIA+ people, and other groups who may face barriers to education.
Through English language training and professional development, EPP participants build the skills and confidence needed to compete fairly for scholarships.
To date, 386 Cambodians have received EPP support, including 269 women, 113 men, and 4 non-binary participants, and 9 Indigenous people. Among them, 66 have received Australia Awards Scholarships.
The EPP continues to expand and welcome participants from more diverse backgrounds. 🌟
