🎓✨ AUPP Alumni Spotlight: Prida Chhoeur

Meet Prida Chhoeur, AUPP Class of 2026 graduate from the Bachelor of International Relations and Diplomacy program, now pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science at Northern Illinois University with a focus on International Relations and Comparative Politics.

Throughout his journey at AUPP, Prida has achieved remarkable milestones, including receiving the AUPP 2026 Founder’s Leadership Excellence Award from Dr. Chea Vandeth, earning a scholarship from Northern Illinois University, and leading the successful ex*****on of the 5th Model ASEAN Meeting at AUPP (MAMA 2025).

We are proud of Prida’s achievements and look forward to seeing the impact he will continue to make on the global stage. 🌎💙

Seeing the pure joy and bright smiles on the children's faces as we taught them about oral care and handed out dental kits was a moment we will cherish forever. Your generosity and kindness didn't just bring supplies to these children—it brought hope, love, and healthier futures.

Working alongside you was a wonderful experience.

On 14 May 2026, the AUPP Community for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) had a truly meaningful journey to Putang Village in Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri Province.
What made this trip special was not only the place we visited, but the people and moments we shared along the way. 🥰

The warm smiles of the children, the kindness of the community, and especially the gracious smiles and laughter of the CSEAS family made this journey one to remember. Every conversation, every laugh, every little moment together became a beautiful memory that we will carry with us. Sometimes, the best memories are created without planning them, simply by being together, sharing happiness, and enjoying the moment. This trip reminded us how precious it is to have people around us who make an ordinary journey feel so meaningful.✨

Grateful for every smile, every laugh, and every memory we created together. The journey may have ended, but the memories will stay with us. Hopefully, this will not be our last journey together, and we can create more beautiful memories as the CSEAS family again in the near future. Until then, these moments will always have a special place in our hearts.

On 15 May 2026, the AUPP Community for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) had the honor of creating a meaningful journey to Veati Keat Chhun High School in Chhlong, Kratie Province, where they had the opportunity to share their university journey and experience with bright Grade 12 students.

It was a wonderful chance to talk about university life, choosing the right field of study, planning for higher education, and the opportunities that students can explore after graduation. Our CSEAS family was also happy to introduce the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), where students can experience an American-style curriculum and pursue diverse programs across business, digital technologies, law, and social sciences. More than simply sharing information about university, the visit was about encouraging students to believe in themselves, stay motivated, and continue working towards their dreams. With the National Examination approaching, the CSEAS family wishes all the Grade 12 students the very best and hopes they achieve the results they truly deserve. 📚✨

The journey became even more memorable with a heartwarming visit and time spent with the children, creating beautiful moments, connections, and memories that will be cherished. It was truly a meaningful experience to share, connect, and hopefully inspire the next generation. 🤍🌱

Last month, on 20 May, Cambodia observed the National Remembrance Day to honor the victims and survivors of the Khmer Rouge regime. From surviving deadlines, sleep deprivation, and “I’ll do it tomorrow” energy… the CSEAS family finally escaped for a healing summer trip.

Our visit to Preah Reach Troap Mountain was honestly the reset button we all needed after months of hard work and emotional damage from university life.

We laughing at the most random things, explored, survived the mountain stairs, and somehow became even louder in public. But beyond the chaos, this trip gave us peace, happiness, and memories that will stay with us forever ✨. Plus, this trip became more than just an outing. It became a memory we’ll carry forever 🫶 No meetings. No deadlines. Just fresh air, good vibes, and a lot of unforgettable moments 🌿☀️

Sometimes healing is not therapy… sometimes it’s just traveling with your favorite people, eating snacks, and bullying each other for fun 🤝😂
