The training was attended by community members, committee members, and community activists.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and understanding of land law, particularly their rights and responsibilities related to land ownership, possession, and use in accordance with the law. Participants learned about key aspects of land law, including land classification, rights associated with different types of land, acquisition of land ownership, the fundamental rights of landowners, and land concessions.
Through the training, participants also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on challenges faced by the community in relation to land issues. They gained a better understanding of how to properly exercise and protect their land rights in accordance with applicable laws.
In addition, the training contributed to strengthening the capacity of community members, committee members, and activists by enhancing their knowledge of land laws and rights. This knowledge will enable them to better address challenges, protect their rights and interests, and develop appropriate strategies for the effective and sustainable development of their community.
This activity is also part of CCFC’s efforts to strengthen community capacity, particularly by promoting legal and land-rights knowledge among rural communities. Through such initiatives, community members are better equipped to protect their rights and interests in accordance with the law and to actively participate in the development of their communities.
