កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ អង្គការទឹកភ្លៀងកម្ពុជា (RWC) ក្នុងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយ សម្ព័ន្ធប្រមូលទឹកភ្លៀងអន្តរជាតិ (IRHA) បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលស្ដីពី “ការរៀបចំផែនការអាជីវកម្ម និងផែនការទីផ្សារ” និង “ការគ្រប់គ្រងហានិភ័យក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងប្រព័ន្ធទឹកក្នុងសហគមន៍” ដល់គណៈកម្មការគ្រប់គ្រងទឹកសហគមន៍ នៅភូមិទំព័រ និង ភូមិឈើទាលជ្រុំ ដែលមានអ្នកចូលរួមសរុបចំនួន ១៣ នាក់ (ស្រី ៦ នាក់)

សកម្មភាពសំខាន់ៗរួមមាន៖
- ការវាយតម្លៃមុន និងក្រោយវគ្គបណ្ដុះបណ្តាល
- ការបង្ហាញមេរៀនស្ដីពីការរៀបចំផែនការអាជីវកម្ម និងផែនការទីផ្សារ
- ការបង្ហាញមេរៀនស្ដីពីការគ្រប់គ្រងហានិភ័យក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងប្រព័ន្ធទឹកសហគមន៍
- និងការពិភាក្សាក្រុម ដើម្បីវិភាគរកបញ្ហា កំណត់ហានិភ័យ និងរៀបចំផែនការដើម្បីដោះស្រាយ

វគ្គបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលនេះមានគោលបំណងពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពរបស់គណៈកម្មការគ្រប់គ្រងទឹកសហគមន៍ ក្នុងការយល់ដឹងពីគោលគំនិតនៃការរៀបចំផែនការអាជីវកម្ម ការជម្រុញទីផ្សារ និងការគ្រប់គ្រងហានិភ័យ ដើម្បីធានាការប្រតិបត្តិ និងការគ្រប់គ្រងប្រព័ន្ធផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកសហគមន៍ប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងនិរន្តរភាព។

On 29 July 2026, RainWater Cambodia (RWC) in partnership with International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance - IRHA conducted a training session on “Business Planning and Marketing Strategy Concept” and “Risk Management for Community Water Supply System Management” to water management committee in Tumpor and Cheuteal Chrum with a total of 13 participants, including 6 women.

Key activities included:
- Pre-test and post-test assessments to participants
- Session on business planning and marketing planning
- Session on risk management for community water supply system
- Group discussions to analyze challenges, identify risks, and develop action plans to addressing

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of Water Management Committee (WMC) members by improving their understanding of business planning, marketing strategy, and risk management concepts to support effective operation and sustainable management of community water supply systems.

១. កម្មវិធីផ្សព្វផ្សាយ និងអប់រំស្តីពីអនាម័យ (Hygiene Fairs)

1. សិទ្ធិសុខភាពផ្លូវភេទ និងបន្តពូជ (SRHR)៖ ដើម្បីការពារខ្លួនឯង និងគោរពអ្នកដទៃ
2. ជំងឺឆ្លងតាមការរួមភេទ (STIs/RTIs)៖ ស្គាល់ពីមូលហេតុ រោគសញ្ញា វិធីបង្ការ និងការព្យាបាល
3. មេរោគអេដស៍/ជំងឺអេដស៍ (HIV/AIDS)៖ យល់ដឹងពីវិធីការពារ និងរួមគ្នាលុបបំបាត់ការរើសអើង

📢 Weekly Activity Highlights — Choam Ksant District

Our team has continued its active efforts in Choam Ksant District to promote school health, well-being, and sanitation! Here is a recap of our key activities this week:

Hygiene Fairs
Conducted across 5 target schools in Choam Ksant District to raise awareness about Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), dispel myths surrounding puberty and sexual health, and facilitate discussions on safe water usage and sanitation management.
👥 Total Participants: 243 (176 Female)

ToR Training on "Sexual and Reproductive Health"
Organized at the Choam Ksant District Office of Education for school health teachers and School Managment Committees. Key focus areas included:
1. Understanding SRHR: Promoting self-protection and respect for others
2. STIs/RTIs Awareness: Identifying causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment
3. HIV/AIDS Prevention: Raising awareness on prevention and eliminating stigma/discrimination
4. Risk Reduction: Understanding the risks of unintended pregnancies and the dangers of unsafe abortions.
👥 Total Participants: 57 (29 Female)

Distribution of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Kits
Distributed a total of 405 MHM kits to 17 target schools in Choam Ksant District (105 kits to 7 primary schools and 300 kits to 10 secondary schools) to support adolescent girls with dignity and proper health hygiene.

Weekly Summary:
📢 RainWater Cambodia, in collaboration with the local district authorities and the Chhaeb District Office of Education, Youth, and Sports, successfully conducted a series of impactful activities this week under the project: "Improvement of health conditions and educational opportunities at schools in northern Cambodia through education on puberty and sexuality."

Here are the key highlights from our week:

🗓️ July 15–16, 2026: Training of Trainer on "Reproductive and Sexual Health"

Location: Kampong Sralao Secondary School and the Meeting Hall of Chhaeb District Office of Education.

Objective: To enhance knowledge and responsibility regarding sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), prevent infectious diseases, reduce risks, and empower participants to make safe, informed life decisions.

Participants: Total of 82 participants (19 females).

🗓️ Friday, July 17, 2026: Two Main Events at Sangkae Lower Secondary School (Sangkae 1 Commune):

Commune Dialogue Meeting on "Menstrual Hygiene Management, Puberty, and Comprehensive Sexuality Education"

🎯 Goals & Objectives: To enhance awareness and responsibility among students and trainees regarding Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), enabling safe decision-making and reducing health risks:
1. Understanding SRHR: Promoting self-protection and respect for others
2. STIs/RTIs Awareness: Identifying causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment
3. HIV/AIDS Prevention: Raising awareness on prevention and eliminating stigma/discrimination
4. Risk Reduction: Understanding the risks of unintended pregnancies and the dangers of unsafe abortions.

Participants: Total of 47 participants (19 males and 28 females).

Additionally, the project distributed 540 Menstrual Hygiene (MH) Kits to 31 target schools across Chhaeb district.

Hygiene Fairs on "Clean Water, Sanitation, Menstrual Hygiene, and Puberty"

Objective: To raise awareness, address misconceptions surrounding puberty and gender/sexuality education, and facilitate open discussions regarding safe water and sanitation management.

Participants: Total of 23 participants (6 females).

🎯 With a total of 152 participants engaged this week, we are moving closer to creating a safer, healthier, and more supportive educational environment for students in Northern Cambodia!

On the morning of Thursday, 16 July 2026, RainWater Cambodia (RWC), in partnership with the International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA), organized the Second Quarterly Reflection Meeting for the project “RainCommunities – Rainwater harvesting formulization in central Cardamom Mountain of national park Phnom Kravanh, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province,” at Promoy Commune Hall​​ with a total of 47 participants attended the meeting, including 13 women. The project is supported fund by FGC and SIG.

Objectives of the Meeting:
- To review, summarize, and assess the project achievements and implementation progress during the second quarter.
- To discuss implementation challenges and identify priorities and directions for the next quarter.

Key Results of the Meeting:
- Presentation on the updated three-year rolling WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) Plan for the five target communes.
- Sharing of experiences and lessons learned on the management and operation of the community water supply system in Stung Thmei Community.
- Presentation on good water governance practices, including water resource management and protection approach.
- Update on the second-quarter project implementation progress, followed by discussions on implementation progress and the action plan for the next phase of the project.

🗓 ថ្ងៃទី ៨-៩ ខែកក្កដា៖ បានរៀបចំ «វគ្គបំប៉នគ្រូបង្គោលសុខភាពសិក្សា និងគណៈកម្មការគ្រប់គ្រងសាលាស្តីពី សុខភាពបន្តពូជ និងសុខភាពផ្លូវភេទ» នៅស្រុកសង្គមថ្មី ដោយមានសិក្ខាកាមចូលរួមសរុប ៦៦ នាក់ (ស្រី ២៩ នាក់)។

🎯 គោលដៅ និងគោលបំណងចម្បង៖ លើកកម្ពស់ការយល់ដឹង និងការទទួលខុសត្រូវរបស់សិស្សានុសិស្ស និងសិក្ខាកាមអំពីសិទ្ធិសុខភាពផ្លូវភេទ និងបន្តពូជ ដើម្បីកាត់បន្ថយហានិភ័យ និងជួយឱ្យមានការសម្រេចចិត្តដោយសុវត្ថិភាព ដោយផ្តោតលើ៖
1. សិទ្ធិសុខភាពផ្លូវភេទ និងបន្តពូជ (SRHR)៖ ដើម្បីការពារខ្លួនឯង និងគោរពអ្នកដទៃ
2. ជំងឺឆ្លងតាមការរួមភេទ (STIs/RTIs)៖ ស្គាល់ពីមូលហេតុ រោគសញ្ញា វិធីបង្ការ និងការព្យាបាល
3. មេរោគអេដស៍/ជំងឺអេដស៍ (HIV/AIDS)៖ យល់ដឹងពីវិធីការពារ និងរួមគ្នាលុបបំបាត់ការរើសអើង
4. ការការពារខ្លួន៖ យល់ដឹងពីហានិភ័យនៃការមានផ្ទៃពោះមិនចង់បាន និងផលប៉ះពាល់នៃការរំលូតកូនមិនសុវត្ថិភាព.

ជាមួយគ្នានេះដែរ គម្រោងបានផ្តល់ជូន «សម្ភារអនាម័យពេលមករដូវ (MH Kits)» ចំនួន ៣៦០ ឈុត ដល់សាលាគោលដៅចំនួន ២៤ ក្នុងស្រុកសង្គមថ្មីផងដែរ។

🗓 July 7: RainWater Cambodia organized a Project Working Group Meeting with key stakeholders, presided over by Mr. Heng Sokhom, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sport (PoEYS), Mr. Pheng Kea, Executive Director of RainWater Cambodia, and Ms. Duong Manet, Representative of the 5 districts.
The meeting gathered 26 participants (10 females), including representatives from District Board of Governors, 5 District Offices of Education (Chhaeb, Chey Sen, Kolen, Choam Ksant, and Sangkum Thmei), School Health Office officers, and the RainWater Cambodia project team.

🎯 Key Objectives:
• Present project progress and key achievements (specifically highlighting outcomes in Sangkum Thmei district)
• Strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration
• Discuss challenges and outline future action plans

🗓 July 8–9: A Training of Trainers (ToT) on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) was conducted for School Health Focal Teachers and School Management Committees in Sangkum Thmei district, with 66 participants (29 females).

🎯 Goals & Objectives: To enhance awareness and responsibility among students and trainees regarding Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), enabling safe decision-making and reducing health risks:
1. Understanding SRHR: Promoting self-protection and respect for others
2. STIs/RTIs Awareness: Identifying causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment
3. HIV/AIDS Prevention: Raising awareness on prevention and eliminating stigma/discrimination
4. Risk Reduction: Understanding the risks of unintended pregnancies and the dangers of unsafe abortions

Additionally, the project distributed 360 Menstrual Hygiene (MH) Kits to 24 target schools across Sangkum Thmei district.

នៅថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ លោកនាយកប្រតិបត្តិអង្គការទឹកភ្លៀងកម្ពុជា (RWC) រួមជាមួយក្រុមការងារបច្ចេកទេស និងអាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន បានចុះត្រួតពិនិត្យវឌ្ឍនភាពការងារសាងសង់ និងកែលម្អ ប្រព័ន្ធចែកចាយទឹកសហគមន៍ទំព័រ ដែលស្ថិតនៅលើទីតាំងគម្រោងចាស់ ដែលធ្លាប់អនុវត្តដោយក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន ស្ថិតនៅភូមិទំព័រ ឃុំប្រម៉ោយ ស្រុកវាលវែង ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់។ បច្ចុប្បន្នការងារជួសជុល និងកែលម្អប្រព័ន្ធទឹកសហគមន៍ចាស់នេះ អនុវត្តសហការភាពជាដៃគូជាមួយ សម្ព័ន្ធប្រមូលទឹកភ្លៀងអន្តរជាតិ International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance - IRHA ក្រោមការគាំទ្រថវិកាពី FGC និង SIG ប្រទេសស្វីស។ មកដល់ពេលនេះការងារសាងសង់សម្រេចបានប្រមាណ ៨០% ហើយ ហើយគ្រោងបញ្ចប់តាមផែនការដែលបានកំណត់ ដើម្បីផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកប្រើប្រាស់ប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាពដល់សហគមន៍។

On 26 June 2026, Executive Director of RainWater Cambodia (RWC), together with the technical team and local authorities, conducted a site visit to monitor the progress of the construction and rehabilitation of the Tumpor Community Water Distribution System in Tumpor Village, Pramoy Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province.
The system is located on the site of the old dam developed by the Ministry of Environment. Currently, the rehabilitation and improvement works are being implemented in partnership with International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA), with supported fund by FGC and SIG Switzerland.
The construction has now reached 80% completion, with work progressing according to plan to provide sustainable access to water​ supply for local community.

នៅថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រុមការងារអង្គការទឹកកម្ពុជា ក្នុងភាពជាដៃគូជាមួយសម្ព័ន្ធប្រមូលទឹកភ្លៀងអន្តជាតិ​International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance - IRHA - IRHA ក្រោមការគាំទ្រថវិកាពី FGC និង SIG ប្រទេសស្វីស បានរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំជាមួយគណៈកម្មការគ្រប់គ្រងប្រព័ន្ធទឹកស្អាត ទាំង ២ ស្ថានីយ នៅក្នុងសហគមន៍ភូមិផ្ចឹកជ្រុំ ឈើទាលជ្រុំ និង សហគមន៍ភូមិទំព័រ ដែលមានអ្នកចូលរួមចំនួន ១៨ នាក់ ស្រី៦ នាក់។ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះ មានគោលបំណងដើម្បី ពិភាក្សាលើការរៀបចំលក្ខន្តិកៈ និងបទបញ្ជាផ្ទៃក្នុង សម្រាប់ដំណើរការគ្រប់គ្រងសហគមន៍ទឹកស្អាតឲ្យមាននិរន្តភាព និងការចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងសហគមន៍តំបន់ការពារធនធានធម្មជាតិ។

On 16 June 2026, RainWater Cambodia (RWC) team, in partnership with the International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA) and with financial support from FGC and SIG Switzerland, organized a meeting with Water Management Committees (WMCs) of two communities water supply systems in Pchek Chrum–Chhe Teal Chrum Community and Tumpor Community with a total of 18 participants and including 6 women.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of the community water management term of condition and internal regulations to ensure the sustainable operation and management of community water supply systems, as well as contributions to Community Protected Areas(CPA).
