🐄 ការចិញ្ចឹមគោ បង្កើនចំណូលគ្រួសារ និងគាំទ្រអនាគតកុមារ
ក្នុងរយៈពេល ៥ឆ្នាំកន្លងមក អង្គការកម្ពុជាដើម្បីកុមារ និងការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ (COCD) បានផ្តល់គោចំនួន ៣២០ក្បាល ដល់គ្រួសារចំនួន ៣២០គ្រួសារ នៅក្នុងខេត្តកំពត តាមរយៈកម្មវិធីពង្រឹងជីវភាពគ្រួសារ។
តាមរយៈការចិញ្ចឹម និងលក់កូនគោ គ្រួសារអាចបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូល និងប្រើប្រាស់ប្រាក់ចំណូលនោះដើម្បីបំពេញតម្រូវការរបស់សមាជិកគ្រួសារ ជាពិសេសកុមារ។
ក្នុងរយៈពេល ៩ខែ ចាប់ពីខែមករា ដល់ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ គ្រួសារចំនួន ៩៨គ្រួសារ បានលក់កូនគោចំនួន ៩៨ក្បាល។ កុមារប្រមាណ ២០០នាក់ មកពីគ្រួសារទាំងនេះបានទទួលអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ពីប្រាក់ចំណូល ដែលបានជួយគាំទ្រដល់៖

📚 សម្ភារៈសិក្សា

🐄 Raising Cows to Strengthen Family Livelihoods and Support Children’s Futures
Over the past five years, the Cambodian Organization for Children and Development (COCD) has provided 320 cows to 320 families in Kampot Province through its Economic Improvement Program.
Through raising and selling calves, families are able to generate additional income and use it to meet household needs, particularly the needs of their children.
During the nine-month period from January to September 2026, 98 families sold 98 calves. Around 200 children from these families benefited from the income generated, which helped their families provide:

A Proud Educational Achievement for Children in Chhuk, Kampot 🎓
In the 2026 academic year, 12 out of 14 children from families supported by the Cambodian Organization for Children and Development (COCD) through education and family livelihood strengthening programs in Chhuk District, Kampot Province, successfully passed the Grade 12 national high school examination (Bac II). 🎉
This achievement reflects the hard work and determination of the children, the support of their families, and the contribution of the community in helping children continue their education and build a better future.
COCD is proud to contribute alongside families and communities by creating educational opportunities and strengthening household livelihoods, helping children stay in school and pursue their aspirations.

ពង្រឹងការចូលរួម និងសមត្ថភាពតស៊ូមតិរបស់កុមារ និងយុវជន
នៅថ្ងៃទី ១៥–១៦ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ អង្គការកម្ពុជាដើម្បីកុមារ និងការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ (COCD) ដោយមានការគាំទ្រថវិកាពី Terre des Hommes Germany បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលរំលឹកឡើងវិញស្តីពី ការចូលរួមប្រកបដោយអត្ថន័យ ជំនាញទំនាក់ទំនង និងការតស៊ូមតិ នៅសណ្ឋាគារ Sunway រាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។
វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលមានអ្នកចូលរួមផ្ទាល់ចំនួន ១៧នាក់ រួមមាន កុមារ ១០នាក់ (កុមារី ៦នាក់) យុវជន ១នាក់ និង ៦នាក់ជាស្ត្រីតំណាងមកពីអង្គការដៃគូ។ អ្នកចូលរួមបានពង្រឹងចំណេះដឹង និងទំនុកចិត្តលើ ការទំនាក់ទំនង ការរាយការណ៍ និងការឆ្លើយតបចំពោះអំពើហិង្សាលើកុមារ ការតស៊ូមតិ កិច្ចសហការ និងការរៀបចំផែនការ។
Strengthening Children and Youth Participation and Advocacy
On 15–16 September 2026, the Cambodian Organization for Children and Development (COCD), with funding support from Terre des Hommes Germany, organized a refresher training on Meaningful Participation, Communication Skills, and Advocacy at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh.
The training brought together 17 direct participants, including 10 children (6 girls), 1 youth, and 6 women representatives from partner organizations. Participants strengthened their knowledge and confidence in communication, reporting and responding to violence against children, advocacy, cooperation, and planning.

ក្នុងឆ្នាំសិក្សា ២០២៥–២០២៦ មានកុមារចំនួន ៨០៩នាក់ ក្នុងនោះកុមារី ៣៧៣នាក់ អាចទៅសាលារៀនជាប្រចាំ ដោយសារគ្រួសាររបស់ពួកគេ ដែលជាសមាជិក ក្រុមជួយខ្លួនឯង ដែលបង្កើត និងគាំទ្រដោយ អង្គការកម្ពុជាដើម្បីកុមារ និងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍កម្ពុជា (COCD) នៅខេត្តកំពត និងខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ពួកគាត់បាននឹងកំពុងទទួលបានប្រាក់ចំណូលដែលអាចផ្គត់ផ្គង់ការសិក្សារបស់កូនៗ។
💡 តាមរយៈការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពសេដ្ឋកិច្ចរបស់គ្រួសារ យើងមិនត្រឹមតែជួយឪពុកម្តាយបង្កើនចំណូលប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងជួយឱ្យកុមារទទួលបានឱកាសទៅសាលារៀន និងបន្តការសិក្សារបស់ពួកគេ។

Stronger Families. Brighter Futures for Children. 🌱
During the 2025–2026 school year, 809 children, including 373 girls, were able to attend school regularly because their families had sufficient income to support their education.
These families are members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) established and supported by the Cambodian Organization for Children and Development (COCD) in Kampot and Pursat provinces.
💡 By strengthening families’ economic capacity, we are not only helping parents increase and manage their income—we are also helping children stay in school and have better opportunities for their future.
❤️ When families are economically stronger, children have a better chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

តាមរយៈការពិភាក្សាជាមួយនាយកសាលា លោកគ្រូ អ្នកគ្រូ និងកុមារ យើងបានឃើញពីការផ្លាស់ប្តូរជាវិជ្ជមាន និងមេរៀនសំខាន់ៗដែលសម្រេចបានក្នុងរយៈពេល ៣០ ខែនៃការអនុវត្តគម្រោង។ លទ្ធផលទាំងនេះបានបង្ហាញពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការយ៉ាងជិតស្និទ្ធរវាង COCD និងក្រសួងអប់រំ យុវជន និងកីឡា ក្នុងការបង្កើតបរិយាកាសសិក្សាប្រកបដោយសុវត្ថិភាព មិត្តភាព និងផ្តល់ផលប្រយោជន៍ល្អបំផុតដល់កុមារ។
🤝 Strengthening Partnership for Children
From 22–25 June 2026, COCD, in collaboration with CWCC, VCAO, and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS), conducted an evaluation of the Positive Discipline in Schools Project across Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, and Kampong Thom provinces, with support from Terre des Hommes Germany (Tdh-G).
Through discussions with school directors, teachers, and children, we learned valuable lessons and positive changes achieved over the past 30 months. The results highlight the importance of close cooperation between COCD and MoEYS in promoting safe, child-friendly schools where children can learn and thrive.
Together, we remain committed to building a brighter future for every child.

🌱 រួមគ្នាបង្កើតការផ្លាស់ប្តូរជីវភាពគ្រួសារ ដើម្បីអនាគតកាន់តែប្រសើរ 🐷🐔
អង្គការ COCD មានមោទនភាពចំពោះលទ្ធផលដែលសម្រេចបានតាមរយៈគម្រោងលើកកម្ពស់ជីវភាពគ្រួសារស្ត្រីជាមេគ្រួសារ ក្នុងខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ក្រោមការគាំទ្រពី Lotus Outreach Cambodia។
តាមរយៈការសម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយគ្រួសារទទួលផលចំនួន 25 គ្រួសារ បានបង្ហាញថា ការចិញ្ចឹមជ្រូក និងមាន់បានជួយបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូលជាមធ្យមរហូតដល់ 750 ដុល្លារអាមេរិកក្នុងមួយគ្រួសារ ក្នុងរយៈពេល 18 ខែនៃការអនុវត្តគម្រោង។ ប្រាក់ចំណូលនេះបានជួយដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់ពួកគេប្រមាណ 50% និងបង្កើនសមត្ថភាពក្នុងការផ្គត់ផ្គង់តម្រូវការចាំបាច់របស់គ្រួសារ។
គ្រួសារទទួលផលភាគច្រើនបានបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តក្នុងការបន្តចិញ្ចឹមជ្រូក និងមាន់ ដើម្បីបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូល និងកែលម្អជីវភាពរបស់ខ្លួនឱ្យកាន់តែប្រសើរឡើង។

🌱 Transforming Lives Through Sustainable Livelihoods 🐷🐔
COCD is proud to share the positive impact of our livelihood project for women-headed households in Pursat Province, implemented in partnership with Lotus Outreach Cambodia.
Through interviews with 25 participating families, beneficiaries reported earning up to USD 750 per family during the first 18 months of the project through pig and chicken raising activities. This additional income has helped address approximately 50% of their household livelihood challenges, enabling families to better meet their daily needs and improve their overall well-being.
Most participating families expressed strong confidence in continuing pig and chicken farming as a sustainable source of income beyond the project period, demonstrating the long-term impact of the initiative.
We are deeply grateful to Lotus Outreach Cambodia for their valuable support, constructive recommendations, and commitment to strengthening both project implementation and our partnership for future development initiatives.
This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of COCD, Lotus Outreach Cambodia, and the participating farmers. Together, we are creating opportunities, building resilience, and empowering vulnerable families to achieve a more secure and sustainable future.

From Fear to Smiles: How One Teacher Transformed Her Classroom in Cambodia!
Walk into Koh Wat Primary School in Pursat Province today, and you’ll instantly hear laughter and kids confidently shouting out answers. But it wasn’t always this way.
Not long ago, classrooms were driven by fear, scolding, and corporal punishment. Long-time Grade 2 teacher, Mrs. Eam Srey Leak, admits: "I honestly used physical and psychological abuse against my students before."

The problem wasn't a lack of care—it was a gap in traditional teacher training. When things got tough, stress levels skyrocketed.

The Turning Point
In 2024, everything changed. Through the Ending Corporal Punishment of Children and Promoting Positive Parenting (EVAC) project—supported by Terre des hommes Germany —Mrs. Srey Leak attended a specialized program focused on human connection, learning:
• Positive Discipline: Setting boundaries without using fear.
• Anger Management: Tools to stay calm when things get chaotic.
• Effective Communication: Creating spaces where kids feel listened to.

The Ripple Effect
Mrs. Srey Leak didn’t keep this to herself! She became a mentor, training her fellow teachers across 5 core pillars, including positive boundaries and creating joyful spaces.

The teachers also introduced Reflection Meetings to support each other through stressful days, and they dedicate 20 minutes during parent-teacher meetings to bring these positive parenting habits directly into the community’s homes!

Results Today:
• 100% Punitive-Free: Nearly ALL teachers in the school network have stopped using physical and mental punishments.
• Fear is Gone: Students who used to hide in the back are now bravely raising their hands and asking questions!
• Attendance is Up: Kids actually want to go to school because it’s a joyful, safe place.
• True Inclusivity: Every single child is valued, regardless of background, race, or religion.
