🌱 រួមគ្នាបង្កើតការផ្លាស់ប្តូរជីវភាពគ្រួសារ ដើម្បីអនាគតកាន់តែប្រសើរ 🐷🐔
អង្គការ COCD មានមោទនភាពចំពោះលទ្ធផលដែលសម្រេចបានតាមរយៈគម្រោងលើកកម្ពស់ជីវភាពគ្រួសារស្ត្រីជាមេគ្រួសារ ក្នុងខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ក្រោមការគាំទ្រពី Lotus Outreach Cambodia។
តាមរយៈការសម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយគ្រួសារទទួលផលចំនួន 25 គ្រួសារ បានបង្ហាញថា ការចិញ្ចឹមជ្រូក និងមាន់បានជួយបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូលជាមធ្យមរហូតដល់ 750 ដុល្លារអាមេរិកក្នុងមួយគ្រួសារ ក្នុងរយៈពេល 18 ខែនៃការអនុវត្តគម្រោង។ ប្រាក់ចំណូលនេះបានជួយដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់ពួកគេប្រមាណ 50% និងបង្កើនសមត្ថភាពក្នុងការផ្គត់ផ្គង់តម្រូវការចាំបាច់របស់គ្រួសារ។
គ្រួសារទទួលផលភាគច្រើនបានបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តក្នុងការបន្តចិញ្ចឹមជ្រូក និងមាន់ ដើម្បីបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូល និងកែលម្អជីវភាពរបស់ខ្លួនឱ្យកាន់តែប្រសើរឡើង។

🌱 Transforming Lives Through Sustainable Livelihoods 🐷🐔
COCD is proud to share the positive impact of our livelihood project for women-headed households in Pursat Province, implemented in partnership with Lotus Outreach Cambodia.
Through interviews with 25 participating families, beneficiaries reported earning up to USD 750 per family during the first 18 months of the project through pig and chicken raising activities. This additional income has helped address approximately 50% of their household livelihood challenges, enabling families to better meet their daily needs and improve their overall well-being.
Most participating families expressed strong confidence in continuing pig and chicken farming as a sustainable source of income beyond the project period, demonstrating the long-term impact of the initiative.
We are deeply grateful to Lotus Outreach Cambodia for their valuable support, constructive recommendations, and commitment to strengthening both project implementation and our partnership for future development initiatives.
This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of COCD, Lotus Outreach Cambodia, and the participating farmers. Together, we are creating opportunities, building resilience, and empowering vulnerable families to achieve a more secure and sustainable future.

✨ ចំណុចផ្លាស់ប្តូរ
នៅឆ្នាំ២០២៤ អ្វីៗបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរ តាមរយៈគម្រោង “បញ្ចប់អំពើហិង្សាលើកុមារ និងលើកកម្ពស់ការចិញ្ចឹមបីបាច់បែបវិជ្ជមាន (EVAC)” ដែលគាំទ្រដោយ Terre des hommes Germany អ្នកគ្រូ ស្រីល័ក្ខ បានចូលរួមវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលដែលផ្តោតលើទំនាក់ទំនងមនុស្ស និងការបង្រៀនបែបវិជ្ជមាន ដូចជា៖
• វិន័យវិជ្ជមាន៖ កំណត់វិន័យដោយមិនប្រើការភ័យខ្លាច
• ការគ្រប់គ្រងអារម្មណ៍៖ របៀបរក្សាភាពស្ងប់ស្ងាត់ពេលមានស្ថានភាពតានតឹង
• ការប្រាស្រ័យទាក់ទងប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព៖ បង្កើតបរិយាកាសដែលកុមារមានអារម្មណ៍ថាត្រូវបានស្តាប់
💫 ផលប៉ះពាល់វិជ្ជមាន
អ្នកគ្រូ ស្រីល័ក្ខ មិនបានរក្សាចំណេះដឹងនេះសម្រាប់ខ្លួនឯងទេ។ គាត់បានក្លាយជាគ្រូណែនាំ និងចែករំលែកការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលដល់គ្រូដទៃទៀត ដោយផ្តោតលើគន្លឹះសំខាន់ៗចំនួន៥ រួមទាំងការកំណត់ព្រំដែនវិជ្ជមាន និងការបង្កើតបរិយាកាសសិក្សារីករាយ។

From Fear to Smiles: How One Teacher Transformed Her Classroom in Cambodia!
Walk into Koh Wat Primary School in Pursat Province today, and you’ll instantly hear laughter and kids confidently shouting out answers. But it wasn’t always this way.
Not long ago, classrooms were driven by fear, scolding, and corporal punishment. Long-time Grade 2 teacher, Mrs. Eam Srey Leak, admits: "I honestly used physical and psychological abuse against my students before."

The problem wasn't a lack of care—it was a gap in traditional teacher training. When things got tough, stress levels skyrocketed.

The Turning Point
In 2024, everything changed. Through the Ending Corporal Punishment of Children and Promoting Positive Parenting (EVAC) project—supported by Terre des hommes Germany —Mrs. Srey Leak attended a specialized program focused on human connection, learning:
• Positive Discipline: Setting boundaries without using fear.
• Anger Management: Tools to stay calm when things get chaotic.
• Effective Communication: Creating spaces where kids feel listened to.

The Ripple Effect
Mrs. Srey Leak didn’t keep this to herself! She became a mentor, training her fellow teachers across 5 core pillars, including positive boundaries and creating joyful spaces.

The teachers also introduced Reflection Meetings to support each other through stressful days, and they dedicate 20 minutes during parent-teacher meetings to bring these positive parenting habits directly into the community’s homes!

Results Today:
• 100% Punitive-Free: Nearly ALL teachers in the school network have stopped using physical and mental punishments.
• Fear is Gone: Students who used to hide in the back are now bravely raising their hands and asking questions!
• Attendance is Up: Kids actually want to go to school because it’s a joyful, safe place.
• True Inclusivity: Every single child is valued, regardless of background, race, or religion.

From rural Pursat to the clinical wards of Phnom Penh—meet Phanna.
In rural Cambodia, systemic barriers like extreme distances and family instability often force girls to drop out of school. For Phanna, the dream of becoming a nurse felt out of reach until she joined the "Access to Education for Rural Girls" program.
Through our partnership with Lotus Outreach, we provided Phanna with a safe homestay, academic tools, and exam prep. This wasn't just about passing; it was about the "opportunity to excel."
Today, Phanna is a 2nd-year nursing student and is discovering a passion for trauma and orthopedic care. She is breaking the cycle of poverty not just for herself, but for her family.

កុមារី ស្រីង នាន សិស្សថ្នាក់ទី៦ មកពីខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ធ្លាប់ប្រឈមនឹងហានិភ័យបោះបង់ការសិក្សា ដោយសារភាពក្រីក្រ។ ដោយមានចំណូលគ្រួសារតិចតួច និងសម្ពាធឱ្យទៅធ្វើការ ក្តីស្រមៃក្នុងការបន្តការសិក្សារបស់នាងមិនមានភាពច្បាស់លាស់ឡើយ។ តាមរយៈការគាំទ្ររបស់អង្គការ(ស៊ីអូស៊ីឌី) នាងទទួលបានសម្ភារៈសិក្សា និងជំនួយហិរញ្ញវត្ថុប្រចាំខែ ដែលបានជួយបន្ថយបន្ទុកគ្រួសារ និងអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យនាងបន្តការសិក្សា។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន នាងមិនត្រឹមតែទៅសាលាជាប្រចាំទេ ប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងមានលទ្ធផលសិក្សាល្អ ដោយឈរលំដាប់ទី២ ក្នុងចំណោមសិស្ស ៣៧ នាក់ក្នុងថ្នាក់។

Sreang Nean, a Grade 6 student from Pursat Province, once faced the risk of dropping out of school due to poverty. With limited family income and pressure to work, her dream of continuing education was uncertain.Through COCD’s support, she received school materials and monthly assistance that eased her family’s burden and allowed her to stay in school. Today, she is not only attending regularly but excelling — ranking 2nd out of 37 students in her class.

🌱 សំឡេងកុមារមានសារៈសំខាន់ 🌱
នៅថ្ងៃទី ២៧ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ COCD បានគាំទ្រតំណាងកុមារ និងយុវជនពីក្លឹបកុមារ នៅខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ឲ្យអាចចូលរួមបង្ហាញកង្វល់ និងបញ្ហាអំពី អំពើហិង្សាលើកុមារ ដោយមានសុវត្ថិភាព និងទំនុកចិត្ត។ សំឡេងរបស់ពួកគេត្រូវបានស្តាប់ដោយក្រសួងពាក់ព័ន្ធ រួមមាន ក្រសួងអប់រំ ក្រសួងសង្គមកិច្ច និងក្រសួងកិច្ចការនារី ដើម្បីពិចារណាឆ្លើយតប។ កុមារត្រូវបានលើកទឹកចិត្តឲ្យនិយាយ និងចូលរួមក្នុងការកសាងអនាគតមានសុវត្ថិភាព។
🌱 Children’s Voices Matter 🌱
On 27 March 2026, COCD supported children and youth from Child Clubs in Pursat Province to safely and confidently share their concerns on violence against children.
Their voices were heard by key ministries, including Education, Social Affairs, and Women’s Affairs—helping ensure their concerns are considered for action. Children are empowered to speak up and be part of the solution for a safer future.
