អង្កការ LHCO បាននឹងកំពុងអនុវត្តគម្រោង HRDP-GRACE គាំទ្រដោយអង្គការ BfdW និង អង្គការ ELCA ដើម្បីជួយលើកកម្ពស់ការចិញ្ចឹមសត្វ និងការដាំដំណាំបន្លែ ។ ជម្រុញបង្កើនផលិតភាពកសិកម្ម កែលម្អជីវភាពរស់នៅ និងបង្កើនប្រាក់ចំណូលក្នុងគ្រួសារប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាព។

On August 17, 2026, Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) collaborated with village heads, sub-villages, and farming communities to organize a ceremony to distribute chicken breeds, vegetable seeds, and farming materials to 30 smallholder farmers located in Sangke Satop, Ta Sal, Trapeang Cho, and Rasmey Samaki communes, Aoral district, Kampong Speu province.

This support is part of the HRDP-GRACE Project, implemented by LHCO with support from BfdW and ELCA. The project aims to strengthen rural communities by enhancing livestock production, increasing household income, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices to improve the well-being of farming families and their communities.

Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized a Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks (PACDR) Training of Trainers Workshop from 16 to 21 August 2026 in Aoral District, Kampong Speu Province. The training was supported by Bread for the World (BfdW) and facilitated by trainers Mr. Deepak Sharma and Mr. Eike Zaumseil.

Over the following four days, trainees practiced applying PACDR tools in Peam Village, Sangke Satob Commune, Aoral District, Kampong Speu Province. The practical sessions involved presentations, group discussions, and consultations with villagers, the village chief, and producer group members. These activities provided trainees with hands-on experience in facilitating participatory assessments and identifying climate and disaster risks at the community level.

Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized a Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks (PACDR) Training for Trainees Workshop from 17 to 21 August 2026 in Aoral, Kampong Speu Province. The training was supported by Bread for the World (BfdW) and facilitated by trainers Mr. Deepak Sharma and Mr. Eike Zaumseil.

Ms. Thay Bone, Executive Director of LHCO, warmly welcomed all participants, who are the BfdW partner organizations. She emphasized that the training was not only an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills, but also to build strong relationships and strengthen collaboration among participants. She further highlighted that the training would provide an opportunity for participants to learn, share experiences, and apply their knowledge directly within their communities who are vulnerable communities affected by climate change and disaster risks.

The trainees were introduced to the PACDR tools, concepts, modules, exercises, and practical applications. The training aimed to strengthen the trainees’ knowledge and skills so that they could facilitate PACDR processes within their communities. The participants included trainees from KDC, Mlup Baitong, Morodok, SADP, and LHCO.

On August 5, 2026, Lutheran Hope Cambodia partnered with Jea Simak Nduot School, Banteay Pranak School, and Ngum School to lead a community clean-up campaign in Sangke Satob and Trapeang Cho communes, Oral District, Kampong Speu Province, and coordinated with the Council for Women and Children (CCWC), School Support Committees (SMCs), commune and village leaders, and youth.

The campaign aimed to improve cleanliness in and around schools and throughout surrounding communities, while promoting environmental protection through waste reduction, waste separation, and proper storage of different types of waste. Community members, local authorities, teachers, and students worked together to strengthen safe waste-management practices.
The campaign brought together 668 participants (369 women) who are students, teachers, commune chiefs and councilors, School Support Committee members.

Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized a two-day training course on news writing and video production from August 6–7, 2026. The training brought together 28 participants, including seven women, representing teachers, school support committees, village development committees, and youth from four communes: Sangke Satap, Ta Sal, Trapeang Chor, and Rasmey Samaki.

The training covered news writing formats, including breaking news and commentary, as well as video scriptwriting, footage preparation, and video editing tailored to each video’s title and purpose.

On 25 July 2026, IMPACT Project of Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO), in close collaboration with LHCC Local Church, successfully organized the Annual Youth Friendship Football Tournament, under financial support from Mission Alliance Cambodia, bringing together 161 youth participants (53 young women) from nine youth groups.

More than just a football competition, the event created a safe and inspiring space for young people to connect, build friendships, and learn valuable life lessons. Throughout the tournament, participants were encouraged to reflect on important educational messages promoting healthy lifestyles and positive choices—raising awareness about the risks of drug use, domestic violence, exploitation, and unsafe migration, while strengthening teamwork, mutual respect, leadership, and peaceful relationships.
Sports have the power to unite people beyond the game. By combining football with life skills and peace education, this event empowered young people to become confident leaders, responsible citizens, and positive role models within their families and communities.

On 31 July 2026, the Fostering Agroecological System to Table (FAST) project organized a meeting on sustainability strategy plan at Samaky Meanchey district hall, in Kampong Chhnang province.

The purpose of the event deeply analyze the Svay Samaky Meanchey Satrey Samaky Agricultural Cooperative on challenges and resolution, dentify the supporting actors, and create the sustainable strategic plan. A total of 29 participants (16 females), comprising of AC leaders, producer group members, youth, local authorities and NGO's staff.

The Fostering Agroecological System to Table (FAST) project was funded by ALiSEA and co-implemented by Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) and Farmers and Nature Net Association (FNN).
