[Khmer Below] CJDM is stepping into the next level of innovation by expanding its capabilities beyond conventional manufacturing training and entering the field of advanced medical technology research and development.

With the support of Manulife Insurance, CJDM is collaborating with an orthopedic surgeon from one of Cambodia's leading public hospitals on the research and development of orthopedic medical implants. The project focuses on components such as hip prostheses, mesh fixation plates, bone fixation plates, anterior cervical cages and screws..

Currently, CJDM's engineering trainers are conducting reverse engineering and 3D CAD modeling of these implant components to analyze their geometry, design features, and manufacturing requirements. This work serves as the foundation for future prototyping and precision manufacturing of medical implants in Cambodia.

CJDM កំពុងឈានទៅកាន់កម្រិតថ្មីមួយទៀត តាមរយៈការពង្រីកសមត្ថភាពពីការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលផ្នែកផលិតកម្មធម្មតា ទៅកាន់ការស្រាវជ្រាវ និងអភិវឌ្ឍបច្ចេកវិទ្យាវេជ្ជសាស្ត្រទំនើប។

ក្រោមការគាំទ្រពីក្រុមហ៊ុនធានារ៉ាប់រង Manulife Insurance មជ្ឈមណ្ឌល Cambodia-Japan Digitalized Manufacturing Centre (CJDM) កំពុងសហការជាមួយវេជ្ជបណ្ឌិតឯកទេសវះកាត់ឆ្អឹងមកពីមន្ទីរពេទ្យរដ្ឋឈានមុខមួយនៅកម្ពុជា ក្នុងការស្រាវជ្រាវ និងអភិវឌ្ឍឧបករណ៍បង្កប់ឆ្អឹងសម្រាប់ការព្យាបាល។ គម្រោងនេះផ្តោតលើការសិក្សាផ្នែកផ្សេងៗដូចជា សន្លាក់ត្រគាកសិប្បនិម្មិត (Hip Prostheses), បន្ទះសំណាញ់សម្រាប់ភ្ជាប់ឆ្អឹង (Mesh Fixation Plates), បន្ទះភ្ជាប់ឆ្អឹង (Bone Fixation Plates) និងឧបករណ៍ទ្រឆ្អឹងកងកផ្នែកខាងមុខ រួមទាំងវីសសម្រាប់ភ្ជាប់ (Anterior Cervical Cages and Screws)។

បច្ចុប្បន្ន គ្រូបណ្តុះបណ្តាលផ្នែកវិស្វកម្មរបស់ CJDM កំពុងអនុវត្តដំណើរការ Reverse Engineering និងការធ្វើគំរូ 3D CAD លើឧបករណ៍ទាំងនេះ ដើម្បីវិភាគរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ លក្ខណៈរចនា និងតម្រូវការផ្នែកផលិតកម្ម។ ការងារនេះនឹងក្លាយជាមូលដ្ឋានសម្រាប់ការអភិវឌ្ឍគំរូដើម និងការផលិតឧបករណ៍បង្កប់វេជ្ជសាស្ត្រប្រកបដោយភាពជាក់លាក់នៅកម្ពុជានាពេលអនាគត។

[Khmer Below] On 5 August 2026, CJDM was honored to welcome Professor Ricardo Hausmann, Founder and Director of the Growth Lab and Professor at Harvard Kennedy School, during his visit to Cambodia to conduct research on the country's economic development and industrial transformation.

The discussion explored Cambodia's opportunities to move beyond traditional manufacturing toward higher-value industries by strengthening local engineering capabilities, developing a skilled technical workforce, and building a more resilient manufacturing ecosystem. The exchange also highlighted the importance of investing in innovation, industrial knowledge, and domestic production capabilities to support sustainable long-term growth.

At CJDM, we remain committed to advancing engineering education, precision manufacturing, and industry collaboration to help develop Cambodia's next generation of manufacturing professionals. Through partnerships with academia, industry, and international experts, we strive to contribute to Cambodia's vision of becoming a competitive and sustainable manufacturing nation.

[Khmer Below] On 31 July 2026, the Cambodia-Japan Digitalized Manufacturing Centre (CJDM) successfully hosted a Digital Manufacturing Workshop at Techo Sen Regional Polytechnic Institute Kampot, Kampot Province. The workshop was attended by the Vice Rector of the institute and the CEO of CJDM.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of digital manufacturing and its vital role in shaping the future of Industry 4.0. Students actively participated throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and showing great enthusiasm for the topic.

To conclude the workshop, CJDM organized an interactive quiz and activities to reinforce the knowledge shared. The students impressed us with their creativity, critical thinking, and strong understanding of digital manufacturing concepts.

CJDM sincerely thanks the management, faculty members, and students of Techo Sen Regional Polytechnic Institute Kampot for their warm hospitality and active participation. We look forward to future collaborations in developing Cambodia's next generation of skilled professionals.

នៅថ្ងៃទី ៣១ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផលិតកម្មឌីជីថលកម្ពុជា-ជប៉ុន (CJDM) បានរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាស្តីពី ផលិតកម្មឌីជីថល (Digital Manufacturing) នៅ វិទ្យាស្ថានពហុបច្ចេកទេសភូមិភាគតេជោសែនកំពត ខេត្តកំពត។ សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានការចូលរួមពី នាយករងវិទ្យាស្ថាន និង នាយកប្រតិបត្តិ របស់ CJDM។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានគោលបំណងលើកកម្ពស់ការយល់ដឹងអំពីវិស័យផលិតកម្មឌីជីថល និងតួនាទីដ៏សំខាន់របស់វាក្នុងការរៀបចំអនាគតនៃឧស្សាហកម្ម 4.0។ និស្សិតបានចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មក្នុងការពិភាក្សា សួរសំណួរ និងបង្ហាញចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍យ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះបច្ចេកវិទ្យាថ្មីៗក្នុងវិស័យផលិតកម្មទំនើប។

On 15 July 2026, the Cambodia-Japan Digitalized Manufacturing Centre (CJDM) was honored to welcome Mr. Minami Naoki, Representative Director and Chairman of Marubishi Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese company specializing in metal heat treatment technologies and advanced manufacturing solutions.

The visit aimed to explore potential areas of collaboration between Marubishi and CJDM, particularly in the fields of digital manufacturing, workforce development, technical training, and industrial technology advancement. During the visit, Mr. Minami Naoki was given a comprehensive tour of CJDM's facilities, including its advanced CNC machining equipment, digital manufacturing laboratories, and training environments.

[Khmer Below] On 14 July 2026, the Cambodia-Japan Digitalized Manufacturing Centre (CJDM) was pleased to welcome a delegation of technology leaders from Taiwan, including Mr. Ga-Lane Chen, former CTO and CIO of Foxconn; Mr. Peter Hou, CEO of Taiwan TEP Association; Mr. Jason Jan, Senior VP of Marketing at FocusVision Technology; Dr. Evan Chung, CEO of FocusVision Technology; and Mr. Leo Yu, CEO of JDS Opto-Electronics Technology Group.

The delegation visited Cambodia to conduct a field study on the country's technology investment environment, focusing on AI-driven agriculture, public safety, smart healthcare, fire prevention, digital health, and smart transportation solutions. As part of their mission, the delegation visited CJDM to learn about Cambodia's capabilities in advanced manufacturing, digital technology, and workforce development. During the visit, they toured CJDM's facilities and exchanged views on technology development and Industry 4.0 opportunities in Cambodia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation expressed positive interest in CJDM's training programs and discussed the possibility of sending engineers and professionals to participate in future training courses at CJDM, paving the way for potential collaboration in talent development and technology advancement.

នៅថ្ងៃទី០៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផលិតកម្មឌីជីថលកម្ពុជា-ជប៉ុន (CJDM) បានចាប់ផ្តើមវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាល Advanced CNC Lathe for Digital Manufacturing ជាផ្លូវការ សម្រាប់ក្រុមសិក្ខាកាមវគ្គសិក្សាថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍–សុក្រ។

នៅថ្ងៃដំបូងនៃការបណ្តុះបណ្តាល សិក្ខាកាមបានទទួលការណែនាំអំពីមាតិកាវគ្គសិក្សា ព្រមទាំងស្វែងយល់អំពីម៉ាស៊ីន CNC Lathe និងបច្ចេកវិទ្យាផលិតកម្មឌីជីថលដែលនឹងត្រូវប្រើប្រាស់ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលបណ្តុះបណ្តាល។ សិក្ខាកាមបានបង្ហាញពីការចាប់អារម្មណ៍ខ្ពស់ ការចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្ម និងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តក្នុងការសិក្សារៀនសូត្រ។

CJDM ទន្ទឹងរង់ចាំគាំទ្រសិក្ខាកាមទាំងអស់ក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍជំនាញផលិតកម្មឌីជីថល និងចូលរួមចំណែកដល់ការរីកចម្រើននៃវិស័យឧស្សាហកម្មកម្ពុជានាពេលអនាគត។

On June 4th, 2026, CJDM officially launched the first session of the Advanced CNC Lathe for Digital Manufacturing Training Program for the Thursday–Friday class.

The first day focused on course introductions and an overview of the CNC lathe machines and technologies that participants will be using throughout the training. Trainees showed great enthusiasm, active participation, and a strong commitment to learning.

Participants come from diverse backgrounds, including business owners, industry professionals, and students from different regions of Cambodia. Due to the overwhelming number of registrations and limited training capacity, participants were divided into two groups: the Thursday–Friday class and the Monday–Friday Evening Class.

CJDM looks forward to supporting participants as they develop valuable digital manufacturing skills and contribute to Cambodia’s growing industrial sector.
