👓💙 Bringing Clear Vision to Chhouk Village Community, Kampongthom Province
As secondary and high school students enjoy their school vacation, our Clear Vision for Children in Cambodia team continues to reach communities where vision care is needed most.
On 2 August 2026, our team conducted a community vision screening in Chhouk Village, Kampong Thom Province, reaching children under 12 years old as well as vulnerable older people in the community.

🎉 Prey Veng Province Screening Completed! 🎉

Caris Foundation International Cambodia is proud to announce the successful completion of vision screening across Prey Veng Province under the Clear Vision for Children in Cambodia programme.

Our final screening took place at the last school in Kamchay Mear District on 22–23 July 2026, marking the completion of our activities throughout the province. This milestone reflects our commitment to ensuring students have access to quality eye care and the opportunity to learn with clear vision.

Together, we are bringing clearer vision and brighter futures to children across Cambodia.

On 23 June 2026, the Kampong Thom Team of Caris Foundation International conducted vision screening for students and teachers at Samdach Techo Hun Sen Sangkerp High School in Kampong Cham Province.

Through this activity, students and teachers received vision screening services, and those in need were provided with appropriate eyeglasses to support their learning, teaching, and daily activities.

Together, we are helping improve vision and creating better opportunities for education and quality of life.

On 16 June 2026, the Caris Foundation International Cambodia team conducted vision screening activities at Yeang Dangkom High School, Banteay Meanchey Province.
Through this program, we continue our commitment to improving students’ vision and supporting better educational outcomes by helping children see clearly and learn confidently.

On 4 June 2026, the Clear Vision for Children in Cambodia Campaign conducted vision screening activities at Pouk High School in Siem Reap Province. As the final school in the province to be screened, this milestone marks the successful completion of the campaign’s vision screening activities in all secondary and high schools throughout Siem Reap Province.

Caris Foundation International in Cambodia extends its sincere appreciation to the provincial and education authorities, as well as all school principals and staff for their invaluable support and smooth coordination throughout the implementation of the program.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our valued partners, OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and H.E. Dr. KAN Channmeta, High Representative of H.E. Akka Pundit Sopheacha AUN Pornmoniroth, for their steadfast support, leadership, and commitment to improving the vision and educational opportunities of children across Cambodia. On the afternoon of 3 June 2026, H.E. Dr. Kan Channmeta, High Representative of H.E. Akka Pundit Sopheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, visited Hun Sen Krong Tepnimith High School in Pailin Province during the final day of the Clear Vision for Children in Cambodia Campaign's eye screening activities in the province.

The visit marked the successful completion of eye screening activities for students and teachers in all secondary and high schools throughout Pailin Province. H.E. Dr. Kan Channmeta met with students, teachers, and members of the Caris Foundation International in Cambodia team and observed the program's implementation.

Caris Foundation International in Cambodia extends its sincere gratitude to H.E. Dr. Kan Channmeta for taking the time to visit the students and our team and for his continued support and encouragement. We also thank the provincial and education authorities, school principals, and school staff for their invaluable support and smooth coordination throughout the program.

On 3 June 2026, the closing ceremony of the Clear Vision for Children in Cambodia Campaign in Battambang Province was held at Pich Chanda High School. The campaign, implemented by Caris Foundation International in Cambodia, successfully provided vision screening, refraction, and eyeglasses to students and teachers in all secondary and high schools across the province. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Kan Channmeta, High Representative of H.E. Akka Pundit Sopheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, and attended by Caris Managment team, the Chief of the Municipal Education Office, school representatives, and other local authorities.

It was a meaningful day filled with care, support, and community spirit as students participated in the program.
