តាមរយៈការវិភាគស្ថានភាពសិទ្ធិកុមាររបស់កុមារ និងយុវជន បានមើលឃើញថា បញ្ហាការបោះបង់ការសិក្សាររបស់កុមារនៅតែជាបញ្ហាប្រឈមចម្បង ដែលវាបានជះឥទ្ធិលអវិជ្ជមានជាច្រើនចំពោះកុមារនាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ន។ នៅក្នុងនោះកត្តាចម្បងដែលបណ្តាលឲ្យកុមារបោះបង់ការសិក្សារមានដូចជា៖
- កត្តាកុមារខ្លួនឯង និងមិត្តភក្តិ
- កត្តាគ្រួសារ
- កត្តាសាលារៀន និងសហគមន៍
- កត្តាសង្គម និងបរិស្ថាន។

ហើយការបោះបង់ការសិក្សាររបស់កុមារ បានជះឥទ្ធិពលអវិជ្ជាមានជាច្រើនដល់កុមារដូចជា៖
- ប៉ះពាល់ដល់ការអភិវឌ្ឃន៍ និងអនាគតរបស់កុមារ
- កុមារលែងមានភាពក្លាហាន មិនអាចសម្រេចអ្វីដែលជាគោលដៅរបស់ខ្លួន
- មានការរើសអើងពីមនុស្សជុំវិញខ្លួន
- កុមារប្រឈមមុខនឹងការប្រើប្រាស់កម្លាំងពលកម្ម និងគេងប្រវ័ញ្ញកម្លាំងពលកម្ម
- កុមារខ្វះការពិចារណា ងាយចាញ់ការល្បួង ងាយចាញ់បោកគេ និងអាចឲ្យកុមារប្រព្រឹត្តិអំពើអបាយមុខផ្សេងៗ ។ល។

Through the analysis of the situation of child and youth rights, the issue of children dropping out of school remains a major challenge that has many negative impacts on children today. Among these, the main factors that cause children to drop out of school include:
- Individual and peer factors
- Family factors
- School and community factors
- Social and environmental factors.

And children dropping out of school has many negative impacts on children, such as:
- Affecting the development and future of children
- Children lose courage and are unable to achieve their goals
- Discrimination from people around them
- Children face child labor and labor exploitation
- Children lack critical thinking, easily fall into temptation, easily get deceived, and can engage in various vices, etc.

📌 Building the Capacity of Children and Youth for Their Voices and Rights!🍃✨

On September 9–10, 2026, the Cambodian Children and Young People Movement for Child Rights (CCYMCR)) organized a training workshop on the “Process of Preparing and Researching Inclusive Participatory Child Rights Situation Analysis (CRSA)” at Cambodiana Hotel, Phnom Penh.

The workshop aimed to enhance children and youth's understanding of key child rights concepts, CRSA tools, and inclusive participatory research processes. It empowered participants to apply these analytical tools through hands-on practice in planning, defining research topics, and developing methodologies directly.

Analysis and research emerging directly from the voices of children and youth form a crucial foundation for promoting child rights effectively, accurately, and inclusively. When given the opportunity to become researchers and take ownership of exploring their own challenges, solutions can be developed based on real evidence that directly addresses their actual and current needs.

The workshop was organized by the Cambodian Child and Youth Movement for Child Rights (CCYMCR) in collaboration with MyVillage Cambodia - MVi អង្គការ ភូមិខ្ញុំ and Women Organization for Modern Economy and Nursing under the “SIDA CSO Strengthening Project” with support by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) through Save the Children Cambodia.

📌 Child and youth participation in Commune/Sangkat planning and budgeting is key to ensuring that their voices and needs become part of local decision-making and community development ✨

On 24–25 August 2026, the Cambodia Children and Young People Movement for Child Rights, in collaboration with the The NGO Forum on Cambodia and CPDD Cambodia , organized a capacity-building workshop on “Promoting Child and Youth Participation in Commune/Sangkat Budgeting and Planning Processes.” The workshop brought together members of Child Clubs and METRI Youth from different provinces, along with representatives from partner organizations, with a total of 50 participants.

The workshop aimed to strengthen children and youth’s understanding of Commune/Sangkat budgeting and planning processes, while building their skills and confidence to meaningfully participate in local planning and budgeting. During the workshop, children and youth engaged in group discussions to reflect on their experiences of engaging with authorities and relevant stakeholders, identify challenges, explore solutions, and share their needs and priorities.

The workshop was organized under the “SIDA CSO Strengthening Project” with support from the Sweden international Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) through Save the Children Cambodia.

🌱 Through this participation, children and youth strengthened their knowledge, confidence, and readiness to become active participants in Commune/Sangkat planning and budgeting processes and contribute to decisions that affect their communities.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៧ ​ដល់១៨ ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ កន្លងទៅនេះ សមាគមចលនាកុមារ និងយុវជនដើម្បីសិទ្ធិកុមារ បានរៀបចំ «សិក្ខាសាលាពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាព ស្ដីពី៖ ការលើកកម្ពស់ការចូលរួមរបស់កុមារនៅក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធថវិកា និងផែនការថវិកាឃុំ-សង្កាត់» ជូនទៅដល់អាជ្ញាធរឃុំ-សង្កាត់ ក្នុងតំបន់គោលដៅរបស់ចលនាកុមារ។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានគោលបំណង បង្កើនការយល់ដឹងកាន់តែប្រសើរអំពីក្របខ័ណ្ឌសិទ្ធិកុមារ កិច្ចការពារសុវត្ថិភាពកុមារ និងសារសំខាន់នៃការចូលរួមរបស់កុមារក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធថវិកា និងផែនការថវិកាឃុំ-សង្កាត់,​ និង ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់ការចូលរួមរបស់កុមារប្រកបដោយអត្ថន័យ បង្កើនការវិនិយោគរបស់ឃុំ-សង្កាត់លើកុមារឲ្យកាន់តែមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងបង្កើតវេទិកាស្វែងយល់ និងចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍ល្អៗ រវាងអាជ្ញាធរ និងភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធក្នុងការជំរុញការចូលរួមរបស់កុមារក្នុងកិច្ចការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍មូលដ្ឋាន។

អ្នកចូលរួមសរុប 29នាក់ មកពីបណ្ដាខេត្តនានានៃតំបន់គោលដៅបានពិភាក្សា និងរៀបចំតារាងផែនការលើកកម្ពស់ការចូលរួម​របស់កុមារ​ជាមួយអាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន ឆ្លើយតបនឹងតម្រូវការជាក់ស្តែងរបស់កុមារ ដូចជា សេវាអប់រំ សុខភាព កិច្ចការពារកុមារ អនាម័យ ទឹកស្អាត បរិស្ថាន​​​ និងសុវត្ថិភាពក្នុងសហគមន៍។ តាមរយៈការស្តាប់សំឡេងកុមារ អាជ្ញាធរអាចកំណត់អាទិភាព និងរៀបចំការវិនិយោគដែលផ្តល់ផលប្រយោជន៍ដល់កុមារបានកាន់តែមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងសមធម៌។

Investing in Children at the Commune/Sangkat Level is an Investment in a Sustainable Future!

On 17–18 August 2026, the Cambodian Child and Youth Movement for Child Rights (CCYMCR) organized a “Capacity-Building Workshop on Promoting Child Participation in the Commune/Sangkat Investment Programme (CIP)” for local authorities in the target areas.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the understanding of local authorities of child rights, child safeguarding, and the importance of child participation in the Commune/Sangkat budget system and budget planning process. It also promotes meaningful child participation, strengthen effective investment in children at the Commune/Sangkat level, and provide a platform for local authorities and relevant stakeholders to learn and share good practices in promoting children’s participation in local development processes.

A total of 29 participants from various provinces within the target areas participated in discussions and developed action plans to promote child participation in collaboration with local authorities, with a focus on responding to children’s actual needs, including education, health, child protection, sanitation, access to clean water, environmental protection, and community safety. By listening to and considering children’s voices, local authorities can better identify priorities and plan investments that are more effective, equitable, and responsive to children’s needs.

The workshop was organized by the Cambodian Child and Youth Movement for Child Rights (CCYMCR) in collaboration with Coalition for Partnership in Democratic Development (CPDD) under the “SIDA CSO Strengthening Project” with support by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) through Save the Children Cambodia. 🌱
