Partnership for Community Resilience! 🤝🌱🏠

Celebrating progress and shared impact, we were honored to welcome delegations from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) – ANCP, Australian Embassy in Cambodia, and government officials from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction to our project site in Angkor Thom District, Siem Reap Province, to mark the mid-term achievements of the BUILD Gender Inclusive Approach to Shelter and Resilience Building Project.

Supported by DFAT and Habitat for Humanity Australia, this project works closely with women-led PASSA groups and key stakeholders to strengthen community resilience. Together, we are empowering women to lead participatory processes that advance climate resilience and promote safe and adequate shelter solutions for their communities.

By investing in women's leadership and collective action, we are helping communities build a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.

អង្គការលំនៅឋានមនុស្សជាតិកម្ពុជា មានកិត្តិយសយ៉ាងក្រៃលែងក្នុងការពង្រីកវិសាលភាពការងារ និងផលប៉ះពាល់ជាវិជ្ជមានរបស់ពួកយើងនៅក្នុងខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង!

កាលពីសប្តាហ៍មុន ពួកយើងបានរៀបចំពិធីប្រកាសដាក់ឱ្យដំណើរការជាផ្លូវការនូវ គម្រោង “ពង្រឹងភាពធន់សហគមន៍” នៅភូមិក្បាលដំរី ស្ថិតក្នុងស្រុកបរិបូរណ៍។

Habitat for Humanity Cambodia is honored to expand our work and impact in Kampong Chhnang Province!

Last week, we held the official launch of the Empowering Communities for Resilience Project in Kbal Domrey Village, located in Boribo District. This project will be implemented in collaboration with communities, local authorities and other key stakeholders.

Through these meaningful partnerships, we aim to enhance the lives of families by providing access to safe and adequate housing, clean water, and improved livelihoods.

Together, we build a future where everyone has access to decent housing!

On May 29, 2026, Habitat for Humanity Cambodia had the honor to co-organize a workshop on the Social and Affordable Housing Development Policy in Battambang Province. The workshop brought together government institutions, development partners, and key stakeholders to discuss challenges, opportunities, and implementation mechanisms for expanding access to safe and affordable housing for low-income communities.

This event represents an important step toward promoting awareness and implementation of the policy at the sub-national level. Habitat for Humanity Cambodia hopes to see similar workshops organized in other provinces in the future to further promote awareness and implementation of the policy, helping more Cambodian families access adequate and affordable housing.

On May 28, 2026, Habitat for Humanity Cambodia had the honor of co-organizing the dissemination workshop on 'Social and Affordable Housing Development Policy' in Siem Reap Province. The workshop brought together representatives from the government institutions, development partners, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen understanding and collaboration around inclusive housing development in Cambodia.

The workshop highlighted key discussions on the challenges and opportunities in developing social and affordable housing, as well as policy implementation mechanisms to improve access to safe and adequate housing for low-income communities.

Through engaging presentations and dialogue sessions, participants shared ideas and recommendations to support effective policy implementation and reaffirmed a shared commitment to building stronger, more inclusive communities for all.
