មន្ទីរកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ នៃខេត្តព្រះវិហារ តាមរយៈគំរូមិត្តកសិករ បានធ្វើបទបង្ហាញអំពីការធ្វើស្រែចម្ការលើដី និងការរៀបចំសម្រាប់ការដាំដំណាំសំខាន់ៗជាមួយកសិករ នៅក្នុងឃុំពុទ្រា ស្រុកជ័យសែន ខេត្តព្រះវិហារ។ សកម្មភាពនេះ បានជួយកសិកររៀនពីការអនុវត្តដើម្បីបង្កើនជីជាតិដី រក្សាសំណើមដី និងគាំទ្រដល់ការផលិតដំណាំប្រកបដោយចីរភាព។

Through the MetKasekor extension model, the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (PDAFF) in Preah Vihear province conducted a field showcase on ploughing cover crops onto the soil and preparing for the planting of the main crop with farmers in Putrea Commune, Chey Sen District, Preah Vihear Province. The activity helped farmers learn practices to improve soil fertility, maintain soil moisture, and support sustainable crop production.

SDP continues to enhance the communication skills of 43 officials (15 women) to promote TVET and tourism in Battambang Province!
In 2026, the SDP continued its coaching and mentoring programme to further develop the communication and promotional capacities of officials from partner Provincial Departments of Tourism and TVET institutions.
Through hands-on training and technical support, participants enhanced their ability to create engaging content, improved the quality of photos and videos, and utilised digital tools and AI more effectively and responsibly.
The programme contributes to attracting more disadvantaged young people to join TVET programmes while increasing public awareness and engagement in promoting local tourism in Battambang.

On 4 June 2026, the Innovation for Sustainable Agriculture (ISA) project of Swisscontact in Cambodia and the EuroCham Cambodia Agribusiness Committee brought together representatives from government, agribusinesses, agri-input suppliers , financial institutions and development partners for the workshop "Healthy Soil: Investing in Cambodia’s Agriculture Future ".

Through presentations and panel discussions, participants explored practical approaches to improving soil health, sustainable fertiliser use and regenerative agriculture. Discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration, technical knowledge and investment in supporting farmers and agribusinesses to adopt more sustainable practices.

The workshop provided a platform for stakeholders to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and identify opportunities to strengthen Cambodia’s agricultural sector for the future.

From feedback to better training outcomes!
What happens to trainees after they graduate and enter the workplace? One of the best ways to find out is to ask employers.
Recently, the Skills Development Programme provided technical support to 28 trainers (5 women) from partner Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions through a capacity-building workshop on analysing and digitally reporting results from the Employer Satisfaction Survey.
The workshop enhanced partners’ capacity to collect feedback from employers on graduates’ technical and soft skills, their workplace performance, and areas for improvement. This information can help training institutions better understand labour market needs and identify gaps in their training curricula.
With hands-on support, participants learned how to use digital tools such as Kobo Toolbox and Microsoft Power BI to transform survey results into clear, real-time dashboards that support better decision-making.
Training becomes more relevant, higher quality, and more effective when employers, training institutions, and development partners work together. Trainees gain skills that help them access real job opportunities. Employers can find better-prepared staff. Communities benefit from stronger and better opportunities.
