🦅 Think vultures are fierce? Think again! 👀

Vultures aren’t hunters—they’re nature’s clean-up crew. They feed mainly on animals that are already dead, helping keep the environment clean without chasing or attacking other animals.

Far from being aggressive, vultures are gentle, social birds that often live and feed together in groups, preferring the peace and quiet of remote forests. 🌿💚

Not hunters. Just nature’s essential clean-up crew! 🦅🌏

🦅 Who’s afraid of whom—people or vultures? 👀

The truth is, vultures have nothing against people! They prefer quiet, remote forests where they can live and feed peacefully, far from people.

But for vultures, the bigger threat often comes from people. 🌳⚠️
Forest loss, hunting, and wildlife poisoning can destroy their homes and put their lives at risk.

💚 Vultures don’t harm us. Let’s make sure we don’t harm them.

🦅 Three of Cambodia’s rarest treasures are still with us—but only if we protect them together. 🇰🇭🌿

The Red-headed Vulture, White-rumped Vulture, and Slender-billed Vulture are the only vulture species still found in Cambodia—and all three are Critically Endangered worldwide.

They are more than rare birds. They are a precious part of Cambodia’s natural heritage and a source of pride for conservation.

💚 Let’s protect them today, so they remain part of Cambodia’s wild future.

🦅 Vultures have an amazing natural talent! 🌿

As nature’s clean-up crew, vultures feed almost exclusively on carrion, helping recycle nutrients and keep our natural habitats clean and healthy.

Protecting vultures means protecting our ecosystems. 💚🌏

🦅 Today is a big day for vultures!

International Vulture Awareness Day, celebrated on Saturday of the first week of September, raises awareness of the vital role vultures play in nature and the importance of protecting them.

This year, the Cambodian Vulture Working Group (CVWG) launched its campaign with the theme “Friends of the Forest – How Conservation and Local Communities Are Protecting Vultures.” 🌿🤝

Stay tuned for our upcoming posts and help spread the word about protecting vultures and our forests! 💚
