The Community Health and Education Service

The Community Health and Education Service Community Health and Education Service (CHES) CHES was established by Mr Soun Solinh and supported by Mr Tou Vantha, Mr Suos Ramos and Mr James Hodgson.

The Community Health and Education Service (CHES) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization which focuses on the implementation of education, health and human rights programs within local communities to promote socio-economic development in Cambodia and reduce the incidence of domestic violence, sexual abuse, commercial sexual trafficking and homelessness. CHES’ projects are designed to s

upport and empower local communities through education, health and economic support to address such issues independently to mitigate reliance on government and under-resourced non-governmental organizations. Whilst CHES remains a relatively young organisation, it has cultivated intimate relationships with local and rural communities, in particular impoverished villages and schools. CHES was founded in October 2008 and registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior in January 2009.
