អង្គការអភិរក្សអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា (អង្គការ CI) មានសេចក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយដែលបានចូលរួមក្នុងសមាជអាស៊ីស្តីអំពីការអភិរក្សធម្មជាតិ(CACNepal) ២០២៦ នៅទីក្រុងកាតម៉ាន់ឌូ ប្រទេសនេប៉ាល់ ដោយបានប្រមូលផ្តុំអ្នកស្រាវជ្រាវ និងអ្នកជំនាញផ្នែកអភិរក្សសត្វព្រៃជិត ៥០០ នាក់ មកពី៤២ ប្រទេសដើម្បីជំរុញកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងអភិរក្សសត្វព្រៃជាសកល។

ក្នុងឱកាសនេះ ក្រុមការងារពីអង្គការ CI មានលោកបណ្ឌិត សោ រដ្ឋា ប្រធានគ្រប់គ្រងផ្នែកជីវៈចម្រុះ និងវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បានបង្ហាញលទ្ធផលការងារអភិរក្សសត្វទោចថ្ពាល់លឿងខាងជើងនៅឧទ្យានជាតិវើនសៃ-សៀមប៉ាង ខណៈលោក Nathan Conaboy ប្រធានជាន់ខ្ពស់ផ្នែកគ្រប់គ្រងតំបន់ទេសភាព បានចែករំលែកអំពីវិធីសាស្ត្រតាមដាន និងវាយតម្លៃឥទ្ធិពលនៃការងារអភិរក្សរបស់អង្គការ CI។ សមាជនេះប្រមូលផ្ត៉ំនូវការចែករំលែកកម្មវិធីវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រយ៉ាងសម្បូរបែប រួមមានវេទិកាពិភាក្សាធំៗចំនួន៤ ការបង្ហាញបទបង្ហាញចំនួន៣០០ ការបង្ហាញផ្ទាំងផ្សព្វផ្សាយ(Poster) ចំនួន៥៩ និងសិក្ខាសាលាចំនួន១២ ដោយផ្តោតលើការចូលរួមប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន និងការគាំទ្រដល់អ្នកដឹកនាំការអភិរក្សជំនាន់ក្រោយ។

អង្គការ CI សូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅដល់ Arcus Foundation សម្រាប់ការគាំទ្រការចូលរួមសន្និសីទ CACNepal ២០២៦ និងសម្រាប់ភាពជាដៃគូដ៏មានតម្លៃក្នុងការជំរុញការងារអភិរក្សសត្វទោចថ្ពាល់លឿងខាងជើងនៅឧទ្យានជាតិវើនសៃ-សៀមប៉ាង ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

Conservation International Cambodia was pleased to participate in the Conservation Asia Congress Nepal (CACNepal) 2026 conference in Kathmandu, bringing together nearly 500 researchers and conservation practitioners from 42 countries across six continents to advance global conservation efforts.

Our Biodiversity and Science Manager, Dr. Ratha Sor, presented findings from CI’s gibbon conservation work in Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park, while Conservation Lead Nathan Conaboy shared CI’s approach to impact monitoring and evaluating conservation outcomes. The conference featured an impressive scientific programme, including four plenary sessions, 300 oral presentations, 59 poster presentations, and 12 workshops, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and supporting the next generation of conservation leaders.

យុវជន និងស្ត្រី ដែលអង្គការអភរិក្សអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា បណ្តុះបណ្តាល បានចាប់ផ្តើមសកម្មភាពផ្សព្វផ្សាយចំណេះដឹងផ្នែកបរិស្ថានបន្ត នៅក្នុងសហគមន៍របស់ខ្លួននៅជុំវិញបឹងទន្លេសាប។

កាលពីខែឧសភាកន្លងទៅ ក្រុមយុវជន និងស្ត្រីវ័យក្មេងមកពីសហគមន៍នេសាទអូរតាប្រុក បានដឹកនាំវគ្គផ្សព្វផ្សាយអប់រំដល់សមាជិកសហគមន៍ក្នុងខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ ស្តីពី «ការគ្រប់គ្រងកាកសំណល់» និង «សារៈសំខាន់នៃព្រៃលិចទឹក»។ ការផ្សព្វផ្សាយនេះមានគោលបំណងបង្កើនការយល់ដឹងអំពីការគ្រប់គ្រងកាកសំណល់ឱ្យបានត្រឹមត្រូវ ពង្រឹងការយល់ដឹងពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃព្រៃលិចទឹកចំពោះជីវភាពរស់នៅ ការកសាងភាពធន់ និងការទប់ទល់នឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។ ជាលទ្ធផល អ្នកចូលរួមសរុបចំនួន ២២ នាក់ (ស្ត្រី ១៧ នាក់) រួមទាំងកុមារ មនុស្សចាស់ និងសមាជិកសហគមន៍បានបង្ហាញពីការផ្លាស់ប្តូរវិជ្ជមានក្នុងឥរិយាបថរស់នៅប្រចាំថ្ងៃ តាមរយៈការទុកដាក់ និងគ្រប់គ្រងកាកសំណល់មានសណ្តាប់ធ្នាប់ជាងមុន ព្រមទាំងបានចូលរួមក្នុងការការពារ និងដាំស្តារព្រៃលិចទឹកឡើងវិញផង។ ការចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មរបស់ពួកគាត់បង្ហាញពីការឈានទៅមុខប្រកបដោយភាពវិជ្ជមានក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ការចូលរួមរបស់សហគមន៍ក្នុងការថែរក្សាបរិស្ថាន។

Youth and women trained by Conservation International Cambodia (CI Cambodia) have begun conducting follow-up environmental awareness activities within their communities around the Tonle Sap Lake.

Last May, a group of youth and young women from the Ou Ta Prok community fishery led an educational outreach session for community members in Pursat province on 'Waste Management' and 'The Importance of Flooded Forests.' This outreach aimed to raise awareness about proper waste management and strengthen understanding of the importance of flooded forests to livelihoods, building resilience, and combating climate change. As a result, a total of 22 participants (17 women), comprising children, the elderly, and community members, demonstrated positive changes in their daily habits through more orderly waste disposal and management. They also participated in protecting and restoring the flooded forests. Their active participation marks a positive step forward in enhancing community involvement in environmental conservation.

It is worth noting that as of early June, four communities have already carried out outreach activities and joint environmental cleanups after receiving training from Conservation International Cambodia back in February 2026.

គួរជ្រាបថា អង្គការCI បានរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំពិគ្រោះយោបល់ជាបន្តបន្ទាប់តាំងពីចុងឆ្នាំ២០២៥មក ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាលើការប្រើប្រាស់ធនធានក្នុងតំបន់គម្រោង និងការមិនបន្តអនុវត្តគម្រោងក្នុងភូមិដែលមិនត្រូវបានជ្រើសរើសជាភូមិគោលដៅជាមួយសហគមន៍មូលដ្ឋាន និងអ្នកពាក់ព័ន្ធ បន្ទាប់ពីមានការកំណត់ឡើងវិញនូវតំបន់គោលដៅនៃគម្រោងរេដបូកព្រៃឡង់ពីក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន។ ការណ៍នេះបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់អង្គការ CI កម្ពុជា ចំពោះការផ្សព្វផ្សាយប្រកបដោយតម្លាភាព ការពិគ្រោះយោបល់ប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន និងការបន្តចូលរួមរបស់សហគមន៍នៅក្នុងដំណើរការនៃការអនុវត្តគម្រោងទាំងមូល។

Conservation International Cambodia (CI Cambodia) organized 37 village-level consultative meetings across 36 target villages in Kratie, Preah Vihear, Stung Treng, and Kampong Thom provinces from May 19 to 31, 2026, to provide updates on the status of the Prey Lang REDD+ Project Phase 2 and the benefit-sharing mechanisms for local communities. The meetings aimed to share information on the implementation progress of the Prey Lang REDD+ Project with residents of the target villages, while also strengthening participants’ understanding of climate change, the REDD+ mechanism, and benefit-sharing frameworks. In addition, the meetings sought to reaffirm the continued participation of local communities in each target village and to define​ village-level mechanisms for facilitating benefits gained from the PLWS REDD+ Project.

Participants, including representatives from the Provincial Department of Environment, local authorities, village REDD+ focal points, and villagers, totaled 1,837 people (1,122 women, 831 Indigenous peoples). They gained a better understanding of project updates, climate change, and the REDD+ mechanism. As a result, participants from 32 villages reaffirmed their commitment to continue participating in the project through a show of hands. Meanwhile, four villages have not yet decided, as the participants present were not able to fully represent their villages and requested more time and additional information regarding their claimed farmland located within the project area. In addition, participants provided input on the development of benefit-sharing mechanisms that their respective villages may receive through the REDD+ Project.

It is worth noting that since late 2025, CI has been organizing a series of consultative meetings to discuss resource use within the project area and the discontinuation of project activities in villages that were not selected as target areas. These discussions have been held with local communities and relevant stakeholders following the Ministry of Environment’s redefinition of the target areas of the Prey Lang REDD+ Project. This demonstrates CI Cambodia’s commitment to transparent communication, inclusive consultation, and continued community engagement throughout the project implementation process.

លទ្ធផលស្រាវជ្រាវតាមរយៈម៉ាស៊ីនថតស្វ័យប្រវត្តិ រយៈពេល៨ខែ គិតចាប់ពីខែមករា ដល់ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ អនុវត្តដោយក្រុមអ្នកវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តចម្រុះមកពីក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន អង្គការអភិរក្សអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា (អង្គការCI) និងអង្គការ Wild Earth Allies បានកត់ត្រាវត្តមានសត្វព្រៃសរុបចំនួន ៤៧ ប្រភេទ រួមមាន ថនិកសត្វ ២៦-ប្រភេទ បក្សី ១៨-ប្រភេទ និងសត្វល្មូន ៣-ប្រភេទ។ លទ្ធផលទាំងនេះបានឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីសារៈសំខាន់ជាសកលនៃឧទ្យានជាតិវើនសៃ-សៀមប៉ាង ហើយក៏បានផ្តល់នូវព័ត៌មានសំខាន់អំពីស្ថានភាពសត្វព្រៃ និងមូលដ្ឋានគាំទ្រដល់ការសម្រេចចិត្តផ្អែកលើភស្តុតាងវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ ដែលអាចជួយតម្រង់ទិសដល់ការកំណត់យុទ្ធសាស្រ្តបានប្រសើរសម្រាប់ការអភិរក្សនាពេលអនាគត។

ក្នុងការស្រាវជ្រាវនេះ អ្នកវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តបានលើកឡើងថា៖ «ទោះបីជាតំបន់សិក្សានេះមានសារៈសំខាន់ខ្ពស់ផ្នែកប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ីយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ ក៏នៅមិនទាន់មានការស្រាវជ្រាវ និងអង្កេតជីវៈចម្រុះឱ្យបានទូលំទូលាយនៅឡើយទេ ដោយសារវាជាតំបន់មិនទាន់ទទួលបានការចាប់អារម្មណ៍ ពិបាកចូលទៅដល់ហើយធនធានសម្រាប់ការស្រាវជ្រាវនៅមានកម្រិត។»

ទោះជាយ៉ាងណា កិច្ចសហការរវាងស្ថាប័នរដ្ឋ អង្គការមិនមែនរដ្ឋាភិបាល វិស័យឯកជន ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច និងសហគមន៍មូលដ្ឋាន គឺពិតជាចាំបាច់ណាស់ ក្នុងការងារអភិរក្ស និងការពារប្រភេទសត្វកំពុងរងការគំរាមកំហែងទាំងនេះ។ ក្នុងទិវាបរិស្ថានពិភពលោក ក្រោមប្រធានបទ «បណ្តុះគំនិតស្រឡាញ់ធម្មជាតិ ធ្វើសកម្មភាពដើម្បីអាកាសធាតុ និងអនាគតរបស់យើង» សូមចូលរួមទាំងអស់គ្នាឱ្យកាន់តែផុសផុលក្នុងការការពារសត្វព្រៃ និងថែរក្សាមរតកធម្មជាតិរបស់កម្ពុជា សម្រាប់មនុស្សគ្រប់ជំនាន់។

អង្គការអភិរក្សអន្តរជាតិ កម្ពុជា(អង្គការ CI) សហការជាមួយលេខាធិការដ្ឋានកិច្ចការឥណទានកាបូន នៃក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងដៃគូ រៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាគោលនយោបាយកម្រិតខ្ពស់ ស្តីពី «មាត្រា៦ និងទីផ្សារកាបូន ក្រោមកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ស្ដីពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ» នៅក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន នាថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ នេះ ។ សិក្ខាសាលានេះជាវេទិកាដ៏មានសារសំខាន់ថ្មីមួយដែលកៀរគរអ្នកពាក់ព័ន្ធជាន់ខ្ពស់សំខាន់ៗមកស្វែងយល់ និងពិភាក្សាអំពីយន្តការមាត្រា៦ ការសម្របសម្រួលស្ថាប័នក្រោមសកម្មភាពអាកាសធាតុរបស់ប្រទេសជាតិ និងបញ្ជាក់ឱ្យកាន់តែច្បាស់អំពីការរៀបចំស្ថាប័ន និងរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធអភិបាលកិច្ចនៃយន្តការមាត្រា៦ ក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះដឹកនាំដោយ ឯកឧត្តម ជួប ប៉ារីស៍ រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងមានការចូលរួមពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំនៃក្រសួងពាក់ព័ន្ធរួមមាន ក្រសួងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចនិងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ ក្រសួងឧស្សាហកម្ម វិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនុវានុវត្តន៍ ក្រសួងកិច្ចការនារី ក្រសួងរ៉ែនិងថាមពល ក្រសួងសាធារណការនិងដឹកជញ្ជូន និងក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ អង្គការសម័្ពន្ធមិត្តសត្វព្រៃ អង្គការដៃគូពាក់ព័ន្ធ វិស័យឯកជន និងតំណាងអភិបាលខេត្តទាំង១១ ដែលពាក់ពន្ធ័នឹងគម្រោងរេដបូក សរុប៩៧នាក់(ស្ត្រី ១៥នាក់)។ ក្នុងឱកាសនៃសិក្ខាសាលានេះ ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ និងអ្នកចូលរួមបានស្វែងយល់អំពីការកំណត់បរិបទមាត្រា៦ នៃកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទីក្រុងប៉ារីស យន្តការទីផ្សារកាបូននៃមាត្រា៦ ទិដ្ឋភាពទូទៅនៃវិធានប្រតិបត្តិមាត្រា៦ និងការចែករំលែកបទពិសោទន៍ទាក់ទងនឹងការអភិវឌ្ឍគម្រោងឱ្យស្របតាមយន្តការមាត្រា ៦.២។

គួរជ្រាបថា វិធានប្រតិបត្តិមាត្រា៦ នៃកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទីក្រុងប៉ារីសស្តីពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុនៅកម្ពុជា ជាឯកសារណែនាំដ៏សំខាន់មួយសម្រាប់ក្រសួង-ស្ថាប័នពាក់ព័ន្ធនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ក្នុងការកាត់បន្ថយហានិភ័យ ទទួលបានអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ជាអតិបរមា និងរួមចំណែកដល់ការកាត់បន្ថយការបញ្ចេញឧស្ម័នផ្ទះកញ្ចក់ជាសកល។ សៀវភៅនេះនឹងណែនាំយើងក្នុងការកំណត់គម្រោងដែលមានសិទ្ធិសម្រាប់កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការក្រោមយន្តការមាត្រា ៦.២ ដែលជួយកៀរគរការចូលរួមពីវិស័យឯកជន និងបង្កើនលំហូរនៃហិរញ្ញប្បទានកាបូនមកកម្ពុជា។

Conservation International Cambodia (CI Cambodia) collaborated with the Carbon Crediting Secretariat of the Ministry of Environment and partner to organize a high-level policy workshop on ‘Article 6 and Carbon Markets under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change’ at the Ministry of Environment on June 4, 2026. The workshop served as a first-ever and vital platform to bring together key high-level stakeholders to better understand and discuss Article 6 mechanisms and institutional coordination within the country’s climate action and to further clarify the institutional arrangements and governance structures related to Article 6 in Cambodia.

The workshop was presided over by H.E. Chuop Paris, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, and was attended by High-level representatives from relevant ministries, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Wildlife Alliance, as well as relevant partner organizations, private sectors and provincial governors around REDD+ project areas. In total, 97 participants attended the workshop (15 women). During the workshop, participants gained insights into the context of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, Emerging Article 6 carbon market mechanisms, an overview of the Article 6 operational manual, and shared experiences regarding project development in alignment with Article 6.2 mechanisms.

It is worth noting that Cambodia’s Article 6 operational manual under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change serves as a crucial guiding document for relevant ministries and institutions in Cambodia to mitigate risks, maximize benefits, and contribute to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. The manual will also help identify eligible projects for cooperation under Article 6.2 mechanisms, thereby mobilizing private sector participation and increasing the flow of carbon finance into Cambodia.

អង្គការអភិរក្សអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា (អង្គការ CI) បានរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំពិគ្រោះយោបល់នៅក្នុងភូមិចំនួនបួន កាលពីខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦កន្លងទៅ ដើម្បីកៀរគរការចូលរួមពីសហគមន៍នៅក្នុងភូមិស្រែចង និងភូមិក្បាលខ្លា ស្រុកសណ្តាន់ ខេត្តកំពង់ធំ ក្នុងគម្រោងរេដបូកព្រៃឡង់។ កិច្ចប្រជុំទាំងនេះមានគោលបំណងលើកកម្ពស់ការយល់ដឹងរបស់សហគមន៍អំពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងទស្សនទានរេដបូក ចែករំលែកព័ត៌មានអំពីគម្រោងរេដបូកព្រៃឡង់ ពិគ្រោះយោបល់លើការបញ្ចូលភូមិទាំងពីរនេះជាភូមិគោលដៅរបស់គម្រោង និងស្វែងរកការសម្រេចចិត្តរបស់ពួកគេ ក្នុងការចូលរួមអនុវត្តគម្រោង។ អ្នកចូលរួមរួមមានអាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន និងតំណាងសហគមន៍សរុបចំនួន ១២០នាក់ (ស្រី្ត ៨២នាក់) បានយល់ដឹងកាន់តែប្រសើរអំពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងទស្សនទានរេដបូក។ ពួកគាត់ក៏បានយល់ព្រមចូលរួមក្នុងគម្រោង បង្ហាញតាមរយៈការលើកដៃផង។
គួរជ្រាបថា ភូមិស្រែចង និងភូមិក្បាលខ្លា បានសហការជាមួយរដ្ឋបាលព្រៃឈើ នៃក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ គ្រប់គ្រងតំបន់ព្រៃសហគមន៍ក្បាលខ្លា ក្នុងការការពារព្រៃឈើតាមរយៈសកម្មភាពគ្រប់គ្រងព្រៃឈើសហគមន៍ ។ ដើម្បីទទួលស្គាល់ការរួមចំណែករបស់ពួកគេ ភូមិទាំងពីរនេះត្រូវបានជ្រើសរើសជាភូមិគោលដៅនៃគម្រោងរេដបូកព្រៃឡង់ ដោយផ្អែកតាមការកំណត់តំបន់គម្រោងរេដបូក និងតំបន់តាមដានកាលេចធ្លាយថ្មីរបស់គម្រោង។

Conservation International Cambodia (CI Cambodia) organized four village consultation meetings in May 2026 to engage communities in Sre Chang and Kbal Khla villages, Sandan District, Kampong Thom Province, in the PLWS REDD+ Project. These meetings aimed to raise villagers’ awareness of climate change and the REDD+ approach, share information about the PLWS REDD+ Project, consult them on the inclusion of these two villages as project target villages, and seek their decision on participation in project implementation. A total of 120 participants (82 women), including local authorities and community representatives, attended the meetings. As a result, participants gained a better understanding of climate change and the REDD+ approach, and they agreed to engage in the project, with consent expressed through a show of hands.

It should be noted that Sre Chang and Kbal Khla villages jointly co-manage a community forest area known as Kbal Khla Community Forestry with the Forestry Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries in protecting forest resources through community forestry management activities. In recognition of their contribution, these two villages were selected as target villages of the PLWS REDD+ Project, following the newly defined project REDD+ area and its leakage belt areas.

ការរួមបញ្ចូលបច្ចេកវិទ្យាក្នុងការតាមដាន និងពិនិត្យស្ថានភាពគម្របព្រៃឈើដោយផ្ទាល់នៅទីវាល ជាវិធីសាស្ត្រដ៏សំខាន់ និងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព ដែលអ្នកអភិរក្សប្រើប្រាស់ ក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងព្រៃលិចទឹកនៅតំបន់បឹងទន្លេសាបឱ្យមាននិរន្តរភាព។ សកម្មភាពនេះត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងនៅតំបន់ព្រៃលិចទឹកនៃសហគមន៍នេសាទចំនួន៦ ស្ថិតក្នុងខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ និងកំពង់ធំ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ២៥ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦កន្លងទៅ។ ការតាមដាន និងពិនិត្យស្ថានភាពគម្របព្រៃឈើនេះ គឺដើម្បីផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ទិន្នន័យ និងវាយតម្លៃស្ថានភាពព្រៃលិចទឹកជាក់ស្តែងនៅទីវាល ពិសេសដើម្បីស្វែងយល់អំពីបញ្ហាប្រឈមនានាដូចជាការកាប់បំផ្លាញព្រៃលិចទឹក ភ្លើងឆេះព្រៃ ឬសកម្មភាពរបស់មនុស្សជាដើម។ ក្រុមការងារ និងតំណាងសហគមន៍នេសាទសរុប ១៥នាក់ បានរួមបញ្ចូលការប្រើប្រាស់បច្ចេកវិទ្យារួមមានកាមេរ៉ា ដ្រូន Avenza Map និង GPS ដែលជួយឱ្យការប្រមូលទិន្នន័យកាន់តែល្អប្រសើរឡើង និងទាន់ពេលវេលា។ តាមរយៈសកម្មភាពនេះ យើងសង្កេតឃើញថាកត្តាចម្បងនៃការបាត់បង់ព្រៃឈើបណ្តាលមកពីភ្លើងឆេះ និងការកាប់ទន្ទ្រាន។​ យ៉ាងណាមិញ តំបន់ទាំងនេះក៏ឃើញមានរុក្ខជាតិលូតលាស់ឡើងវិញបន្ទាប់ពីគ្មានសកម្មភាពបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញបន្តទៀត។

Integrating technology into ground monitoring and assessment of forest cover is a crucial and effective method used by conservationists to sustainably manage flooded forests in the Tonle Sap Lake region. This activity was conducted in the flooded forest areas of six community fisheries across Pursat and Kampong Thom provinces from May 25 to 29, 2026. The purpose of this activity is to verify data and evaluate the actual condition of the flooded forests on the ground, specifically to understand various challenges such as flooded forest deforestation, wildfires, and other human activities. A total of 15 team members and community fishery representatives integrated the use of technologies, including cameras, drones, Avenza Maps, and GPS, which helped improve data collection and ensure its timeliness. Through this activity, it was observed that the primary drivers of forest loss are wildfire and land encroachment. However, these areas also showed signs of natural regeneration once destructive activities ceased.

It is worth noting that this forest cover monitoring and assessment is part of a broader effort to review and evaluate forest changes across 16 target communities in the Tonle Sap region between 2024 and 2026.
