CPO Cambodia Together protecting and building futures of children, youth, families and communities for poverty reduction, strengthening of cooperation and peace.

Since 1979, Cambodian people have always looked forward to their new life

and constantly built up their country. In 1993, Cambodia has stepped into

another path, which is its new political reform in the national stage, led to the

general election in the country supported by the United Nations. As a result a

new constitution has been established introducing the democratic policy and

human righ

ts in the country. Based on the above mentioned, the government of Cambodia has put a lot of

efforts to reconstruct and develop the country in all fields, aiming at building up

the country and the development of people to live in harmony and good living

condition in the society. Achieving this goal is required a hard work and a lot of

responsibilities as well as participation of all individuals, especially the people

of Cambodia. Due to some tasks have not been completed yet and because we, the compatriot,

can do it, we agreed and decided to establish the Cooperation for Peace

Organization (CPO) to have fulfill the tasks of the government.
