កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ១០ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី ១១ ខែសីហា អង្គការជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចកម្ពុជា (អ.ជ.ក) រួមទាំងសមាជិកសម្ព័ន្ធជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចកម្ពុជា សហការរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាថ្នាក់ជាតិស្ដីពីការពិគ្រោះយោបល់ និងប្រមូលធាតុចូលលើការប្រមូលព័ត៌មានអំពីជីវៈចម្រុះ និងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុក្នុងតំបន់ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច ។ សិក្ខាសាលានេះរៀបចំឡើងនៅឯសណ្ឋាគាកាំបូឌីយ៉ាណា រាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ។

ឯកឧត្ដម រ័ត្ន វិរៈ រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ក្រសួងដែនដី នគរូបនីយកម្ម និងសំណង់ បានអញ្ជើញជាអធិបតីដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់នៅក្នុងការបើកអង្គសិក្ខាសាលានេះឡើង រួមទាំងសមាសភាព តំណាងក្រសួងស្ថាប័នពាក់ព័ន្ធ និងអង្គការ/សមាគមជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច ព្រមទាំងយុវជន យុវនារី បានចូលរួមក្នុងកម្មវិធីនេះរហូតដល់ទៅ ៥៣ នាក់ ក្នុងនោះស្ដ្រី ២៤ នាក់។

គោលបំណងសំខាន់ៗនៃសិក្ខាសាលានេះរួមមាន ទី១ គឺការប្រមូលទិន្នន័យ ដើម្បីបង្កើតមូលដ្ឋានទិន្នន័យរួមមួយស្ដីពីជីវចម្រុះ និងផលប៉ះពាល់នៃការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ សម្រាប់ប្រើប្រាស់ក្នុងការធ្វើផែនការយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រជាតិ ហើយរួមទាំងក្របខ័ណ្ឌច្បាប់ដែលពាក់ព័ន្ធ ដើម្បីពិនិត្យ និងផ្ដល់ធាតុចូលបន្ថែមលើការអនុវត្ដគោលនយោបាយជាតិស្ដីពីការអភិវឌ្ឍជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចឆ្នាំ ២០០៩ ក៏ដូចជាសេចក្ដីព្រាងអនុក្រឹត្យស្ដីពីការគ្រប់គ្រងសហគមន៍តំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិ និងពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្ដការភាពជាដៃគុររវាងស្ថាប័នរដ្ឋ និងសហគមន៍ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច ឆ្ពោះទៅរកការអភិវឌ្ឍប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន ។

កម្មវិធីនេះប្រព្រឹត្ដទៅបានដោយរលូនដោយាសារតែមានការគាំទ្រថវិការពី សម្ព័ន្ធជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចអាស៊ី ក្រោមកម្មវិធី អ្នកនាំផ្លូវជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច (Indigenous Navigator) ។

From 10–11 August, the Cambodia Indigenous Peoples Organization (CIPO), together with members of the Cambodia Indigenous Peoples Alliance, jointly organized a National Consultation and Input-Gathering Workshop on Information Collection on Biodiversity and Climate Change in Indigenous Peoples’ Areas.

The workshop was held at Hotel Cambodiana in Phnom Penh and was honored by the presence of H.E. Rath Virak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, who presided over the opening ceremony.

The event brought together 53 participants, including 24 women, representing relevant government ministries and institutions, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations and associations, as well as Indigenous youth and women.

Key Objectives

The workshop focused on collecting data and information to establish a shared database on biodiversity and the impacts of climate change, which can support national strategic planning and relevant legal frameworks. Reviewing and providing additional inputs for the implementation of the 2009 National Policy on the Development of Indigenous Peoples, as well as the draft Sub-Decree on the Management of Community Protected Areas. Strengthening partnerships and cooperation between government institutions and Indigenous Peoples’ communities toward more inclusive and sustainable development.

The workshop was successfully conducted with financial support from the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) through the Indigenous Navigator Programme.

Yeak Laom Lake Gate Construction Project

The Yeak Laom Community Protected Area is implementing a project supported by DCA Cambodia, located in Loun Village, Yeak Laom Commune, Banlung City, Ratanakiri Province. The project is carried out with the cooperation and support of the Cambodian Indigenous Women’s Association and the Cambodian Indigenous Peoples Organization (CIPO).

Project Scope:

Site preparation and project-related documentation for the construction of the Yeak Laom Lake Gate — responsibility of the project owner.
Installation and construction of concrete and steel structural components for the gate — responsibility of the construction contractor.
Decorative and finishing works incorporating Indigenous architectural design elements — responsibility of the construction contractor.
