π [Study Visit Activity]
We firmly believe that learning from one another is the key to building a solid educational foundation for Cambodian children! π§π¦
Wathnakpheap, with the support and collaboration of the Bandos Komar Association, organized a 4-day "Study Visit to Extract Experiences and Best Practices" at the Lvea Village Community Pre-school, located in Maung Commune, Srei Snam District, Siem Reap Province. The program took place from April 21st to 24th, 2026. The program aims to a) Exchange experiences and technical knowledge on community pre-school classroom management, b) Share teaching methodologies and strategies for resource mobilization, c) Foster community participation and local authority (commune) budget support.
π₯ A total of 26 participants attended, including Community Pre-school Teachers, School director, Commune Council Members, Representatives from the Provincial Department and District Office of Education (PoE/DoE), Representatives from ChildFund Cambodia.
π Key Outcomes: After completing this visit, all participants will: 1οΈβ£ Gain valuable lessons and best practices to implement within their own target areas. 2οΈβ£ Be able to reflect on strengths and gaps to further improve their work performance. 3οΈβ£ Develop community pre-school development plans with the active participation of all relevant stakeholders.
