“ខ្មែរជួយខ្មែរ” – Khmer Helping Khmer.

Earlier this week, our President, Madam Alicia Lim, in her role as President of St John, together with nearly 50 members of the Himawari Hotel team, traveled to Preah Vihear province to extend care and support to displaced families affected by the border conflicts.

The team prepared meals, donated essential supplies, and conducted first-aid training for local health center staff – ensuring both immediate relief and long-term capacity building.

We are deeply inspired by this spirit of solidarity and compassion, standing together for the well-being of Cambodian communities. 🇰🇭❤️

The Singapore Alumni Association of Cambodia (SAAC) was privileged to co-organize the Sound of Peace – Piano Charity Recital on 24 August 2025, organized by Himawari Hotel Apartments, and co-organized together with many fellow associations.

The evening was a touching reminder of how music can bring people together in unity and compassion. Proceeds from this meaningful event are being dedicated to supporting victims at Cambodia’s border areas through St John Phnom Penh.

With the ceasefire now in place, we hope this marks the beginning of lasting peace and healing for Cambodia.
