អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា គឺជាអង្គការដែលបានផ្តួចផ្តើមបង្កើតឡើងនៅក្នុងខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០១៦ និងបានចុះបញ្ជីនៅក្រសួងមហាផ្ទៃនៅថ្ងៃទី០២ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០១៧ តាមប្រកាសលេខ ៣០៩ ប្រ.ក។ អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា គឺជាអង្គការមិនស្វែងរកកម្រៃជាឯកជន អព្យាក្រឹត មិនប្រកាន់ពូជសាសន៍ មិនប្រកាន់សាសនា មិនប្រកាន់និន្នាការនយោបាយ មិនធ្វើនយោបាយ មិនធ្វើជាឧបករណ៍នយោបាយ ក្នុងនោះមាន រួមទាំងមិនផ្ដល់មធ្យោបាយជាសម្ភារ ហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ ធនធានមនុស្ស ដើម្បីគាំទ្រគណបក្សនយោបាយណាមួយឡើយ។

ទស្សនវិស័យរបស់អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា គឺ ទាំងអស់គ្នាដើម្បីការរស់នៅប្រកបដោយសុខដុមរមនីរវាងមនុស្ស និងធម្មជាតិ។

អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា ធ្វើការអភិរក្សជីវៈចម្រុះតាមរយៈការគ្រប់គ្រងធនធានធម្មជាតិប្រកបដោយនិរន្តភាពដើម្បីជាប្រយោជន៍របស់យើងទំាងអស់គ្នា។

ខណៈពេលដែលព្រៃឈើត្រូវបានការពារពីការទន្ទ្រានដោយខុសច្បាប់ «អន្ទាក់» កំពុងដើរតួជាឃាតករលាក់មុខ សម្លាប់ជីវិតសត្វព្រៃយ៉ាងស្ងៀមស្ងាត់នៅក្នុងតំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិ។

ថ្វីត្បិតតែសកម្មភាពកាប់បំផ្លាញព្រៃឈើ និងការទន្ទ្រានដីព្រៃខុសច្បាប់ក្នុងតំបន់ដែនជម្រកសត្វព្រៃលំផាត់ ត្រូវបានទប់ស្កាត់ និងមានការថយចុះយ៉ាងខ្លាំងក៏ដោយ ប៉ុន្តែការលួចដាក់អន្ទាក់ និងការបរបាញ់ខុសច្បាប់ នៅតែជាកត្តាប្រឈមសំរាប់តំបន់ការពារមួយនេះ។

ដើម្បីឆ្លើយតបនឹងការគំរាមកំហែងនេះ បន្ថែមលើសកម្មភាពល្បាតជាប្រចាំ ក្រុមការងាររួមមានមន្ត្រីឧទ្យានុរក្ស និងអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តល្បាតសហគមន៍ នៃស្នាក់ការកណ្ដាលរយ៉លើ ភូមិសាស្ត្រខេត្តមណ្ឌលគិរី បានបំពេញបេសកកម្មចុះល្បាត និងស្វែងរករុករកយ៉ាងសកម្មនៅក្នុងតំបន់អភិរក្សនិងតំបន់ស្នូល នាចន្លោះថ្ងៃទី២៨ ខែកញ្ញា ដល់ថ្ងៃទី០១ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦។

ជាលទ្ធផល ក្រុមការងារបានរុករក និងដោះសារអន្ទាក់ខ្សែគោសរុបចំនួន ៥៣៣ខ្សែ ដែលត្រូវបានព្រានព្រៃលួចដាក់ក្នុងតំបន់ស្នូល។ អន្ទាក់នៅតែជាគ្រោះថ្នាក់ដ៏សាហាវបំផុតសម្រាប់សត្វព្រៃ ដោយក្រុមការងារបានប្រទះឃើញសត្វស្វាព្រាម ១ក្បាល ជាប់អន្ទាក់ងាប់ស្អុយរលួយ។ យ៉ាងណាមិញ ក្នុងប្រតិបត្តិការនេះ ក្រុមការងារជួយសង្គ្រោះ និងដោះលែងសត្វជ្រូកព្រៃចំនួន ៨ក្បាល ឱ្យត្រឡប់ទៅរស់នៅក្នុងព្រៃធម្មជាតិវិញដោយសុវត្ថិភាព ព្រមទាំងបានកត់ត្រាវត្តមានសត្វព្រៃសំខាន់ៗដែលកំពុងរស់នៅយ៉ាងសុខសាន្ត រួមមាន ហ្វូងសត្វស្វាព្រាមប្រមាណ ២០ក្បាល នៅក្នុងតំបន់ស្នូល។

លទ្ធផលពីបេសកកម្មនេះបានបញ្ជាក់ច្បាស់ថា ការចុះល្បាតជាប្រចាំ និងការបន្តគាំទ្រយ៉ាងសកម្មលើកិច្ចការពារព្រៃឈើក្នុងតំបន់អនុវត្គគម្រោង REDD+ លំផាត់ គឺជាកាតព្វកិច្ចមិនអាចខ្វះបាន ដើម្បីលុបបំបាត់អន្ទាក់ ធានាសុវត្ថិភាពដល់សត្វព្រៃ និងថែរក្សាប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ីឱ្យគង់វង្ស។

While forests are increasingly protected from illegal land encroachment, snares continue to act as silent killers, taking the lives of wildlife quietly within protected areas.

Although illegal forest clearing and land encroachment in Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary have been significantly reduced through ongoing law enforcement and conservation efforts, illegal hunting and snaring remain a serious threat.

To address this threat, and in addition to regular patrol activities, a joint team of rangers and community scouts from the Roya leu Headquarters (LWS of Mondulkiri area), conducted an intensive patrol and snare-removal mission across conservation and core zones from 28 September to 3 October 2026.

As a result, the team retrieved and removed a total of 533 leg snares illegally set by poachers within the core zone. Snares continue to pose a lethal danger to wildlife, as evidenced by the discovery of an Indochinese Silvered Langur that had died and decayed in a snare. Nevertheless, during this operation, the team successfully rescued and safely released 8 trapped wild pig back into their natural habitat, while also recording the peaceful presence of key wildlife species, including a troop of around 20 Indochinese Silvered Langurs in the core zone of this protected area.

The results of this patrol highlight the critical importance of regular patrols and continued support for forest protection under the Lomphat REDD+ site. These efforts are essential to removing deadly snares, safeguarding wildlife, and maintaining healthy and resilient forest ecosystems for future generations.

ឯកឧត្តមបណ្ឌិត ស្រី ស៊ុនលាង អគ្គនាយក នៃអគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានតំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិ ក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងជាប្រធានក្រុមការងារអភិរក្សសត្វត្មាតកម្ពុជា មានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «ការអភិរក្សសត្វត្មាតមិនអាចកំណត់ត្រឹមព្រំដែនប្រទេសនីមួយៗបានទេ។ តាមរយៈ RSC យើងអាចពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការក្នុងតំបន់ និងប្រែក្លាយការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរួមរបស់យើងទៅជាសកម្មភាពអភិរក្សរួមគ្នានៅទូទាំងអាស៊ី»។

តាមរយៈការដឹកនាំរបស់ ក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងការពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការរវាងរដ្ឋាភិបាល និងដៃគូអភិរក្សនៅទូទាំងតំបន់ កម្ពុជាកំពុងរួមចំណែកជំរុញសកម្មភាពរួមដែលចាំបាច់ ដើម្បីធានាអនាគតកាន់តែមានសុវត្ថិភាពសម្រាប់សត្វត្មាតនៅអាស៊ី។

Cambodia, under the leadership of the Ministry of Environment, hosted the 11th Meeting of the Asia Regional Steering Committee (RSC) for Conservation of Vultures, reinforcing the country’s important role in advancing regional cooperation for the conservation of Asia’s
threatened vultures.

Led in Cambodia by the Ministry of Environment, the meeting brings together government representatives from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan, alongside IUCN,
SAVE, BirdLife International, NatureLife Cambodia, WCS, WWF, ACCB, Rising Phoenix, and other conservation partners. Lao PDR and Myanmar are also participating as observer countries, providing an important opportunity to strengthen their engagement and explore a pathway towards formal RSC membership.

Discussions focus on shared priorities including transboundary threats, veterinary drug regulation, poisoning, population monitoring, Vulture Safe Zones, and stronger technical cooperation and information exchange among range countries. The meeting agreed to invite Myanmar and Lao PDR to be the new members of RSC and scale up the cross-boundary collaboration (i.e. Cambodia and Lao PDR).

“Vulture conservation cannot stop at national borders. Through the RSC, we can strengthen regional cooperation and turn our shared commitment into coordinated conservation action across Asia.” H.E. Dr. Srey Sunleang, Director General, General Directorate of Natural Protected Areas, Ministry of Environment, Cambodia and Chairman of Cambodia Vulture Working Group.

Through the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and strengthened cooperation among governments and conservation partners across the region, Cambodia is helping build the collective action needed to secure a safer future for Asia’s vultures.

តាមរយៈគម្រោងថ្មីដែលទទួលបានការគាំទ្រពី មូលនិធិ Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា (NatureLife Cambodia) បាននឹងកំពុងពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពមន្ត្រីឧទ្យានុរក្ស និងគណៈកម្មការតំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិសហគមន៍នៅក្នុងតំបន់រ៉ាមសារស្ទឹងសែន និងតំបន់រ៉ាមសារបឹងទន្លេឆ្មារ ដើម្បីប្រើប្រាស់ឧបករណ៍ឌីជីថលសម្រាប់បង្កើនប្រសិទ្ធភាពការងារល្បាត និងការតាមដានជីវចម្រុះ។ ថ្មីៗនេះ អង្គការជីវិតធម្មជាតិនៅកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលរំលឹកចំណេះដឹងស្តីពីការប្រើប្រាស់ស្មាតលើទូរស័ព្ទដៃសម្រាប់ប្រមូល និងកត់ត្រាទិន្នន័យនៅទីវាល ព្រមទាំងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលបច្ចេកទេសប្រើប្រាស់ម៉ាស៊ីនថតរូប ដើម្បីកត់ត្រាសត្វស្លាប និងជីវចម្រុះផ្សេងៗក្នុងអំឡុងពេលចុះល្បាត។

ការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពមន្ត្រីឧទ្យានុរក្ស និងសមាជិកសហគមន៍ក្នុងការប្រើប្រាស់កម្មវិធីស្មាត និងឧបករណ៍ថតរូបនេះនឹងរួមចំណែកដល់ការធ្វើឲ្យការតាមដាននៅទីវាលកាន់តែមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព ការគ្រប់គ្រងទិន្នន័យល្បាតកាន់តែប្រសើរ និងការពារធនធានធម្មជាតិ និងជីវចម្រុះនៅតំបន់រ៉ាមសារស្ទឹងសែន និងតំបន់រ៉ាមសារបឹងទន្លេឆ្មារ ក្នុងតំបន់បឹងទន្លេសាប។

SMART (Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool) supports the collection, monitoring, and management of patrol data. It enables field teams to systematically record patrol routes, wildlife observations, threats, illegal activities, and other important information collected during patrols. Rangers and community conservation teams are key field-level users of SMART, as the tool helps them improve the efficiency and consistency of patrol activities while strengthening biodiversity monitoring.

NatureLife Cambodia, through a new project supported by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), is strengthening the capacity of rangers and Community Protected Area (CPA) committees in Stung Sen and Boeng Tonle Chhmar Ramsar Sites to use digital tools for more effective patrols and biodiversity monitoring. Through the project, NatureLife Cambodia conducted a refresher training on the use of SMART Mobile for collecting and recording field data, as well as practical techniques for using cameras to document birds and other biodiversity during patrols.

By strengthening the capacity of rangers and community members to use SMART and camera equipment, the project will contribute to more effective field monitoring, improved patrol data management, and stronger protection of natural resources and biodiversity in Stung Sen and Boeng Tonle Chhmar Ramsar Sites, Tonle Sap.

On Saturday, 26 September 2026, NatureLife Cambodia and the Cambodia Vulture Working Group (CVWG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) Cambodia, organized the International Vulture Awareness Day 2026 celebration under the theme:“Forest Friends – Vulture Conservation Approaches and Participation in Vulture Protection.”

The event was presided over by Mr. Hong Chamnan, Director of the Freshwater Wetland Conservation Department of the General Department of Administration for Nature Conservation, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Vorsak Bou, CEO of NatureLife Cambodia, and Mr. Born Doeur, representative IUCN/CEPF. The event was attended by partner organizations, students, teachers, and members of the Cambodia vulture working group, with approximately 200 participants in total.

As part of the event, presentations were delivered by distinguished speakers from NatureLife Cambodia, WWF, WCS, and Rising Phoenix. Students and other participants actively engaged in discussions and responded to questions related to vulture conservation approaches, opportunities for public participation in vulture protection, and the status of vulture conservation in Cambodia. Exhibition booth belong to NatureLife Cambodia and WWF were also installed for student question about biodiversity conservation in Cambodia.

The event successfully increased knowledge and awareness among students and teachers about the ecological importance of Cambodia’s three vulture species, the threats they face, and ongoing conservation efforts. Students also expressed their commitment to share and extend vulture conservation messages with their families, friends, and communities, and to avoid consuming wild meat, contributing to greater awareness and support for wildlife conservation in Cambodia.
