💧 From a Difficult Journey to a Better Life ☀️
Before the Solar Water Station, Sles had to walk 300 metres to the stream and make four trips a day to collect water—often along a slippery bank.
Today, clean water is closer to home. She has more time to work, earn an income, grow crops, and care for her family.
Her gratitude is a simple reminder: clean water doesn’t just change lives—it gives people their time back. 💧

🏫 They Deserve a Real School
In Phum Ti 5 Village, 380 children share only three small classrooms. Some study in temporary zinc-sheet spaces, while others learn inside the local masjid.
They are ready to learn. They deserve a safe, permanent place to learn and grow.

On Thursday, 24 September 2026, Global Ehsan Relief Cambodia (GERC) organized the official inauguration ceremony of Darul Arqam School, featuring a three-classroom school building and two sanitation facilities. The project was made possible through the generous sponsorship of our donors from the United Kingdom.

The ceremony was presided over by His Excellency La Lai, Secretary of State, and his spouse, representing His Excellency Dr. Chay Borin, Minister of Cults and Religion. The event was also attended by local leaders, authorities, community members, and numerous students.

As part of the ceremony, humanitarian aid and educational supplies were distributed to local residents and students, including:
- 120 food packages for needy families
- 100 sets of school supplies and backpacks for students
- 200 snack packages for children
- A solidarity meal for 500 people attending the ceremony

For 100 children in Srae Phal Village, their school can only accommodate Grade 1. After that, their learning has nowhere to go.
They have the desire. They have the teachers.
They simply need a school.
Help build a permanent school and give these children a path to a brighter future. 🤲

In Chhnok Tru village, over 100 children once studied under the masjid, facing the heat and rain.
Today, Darul-Arqam School provides three classrooms, clean water, and a safe place to learn for 126 children. ❤️
