Peace Bridges Organization is a Cambodian nonprofit organization dedicated to long-term, strategic partnerships with committed individuals and organizations to develop knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits for effective conflict resolution and transformation. Peace Bridges envisions humanity living in justpeace—a condition in which people actively work to end destructive cycles of violence and

increase justice in human relationships. Since 2003, Peace Bridges has trained over 4,000 peacebuilders who are actively building peace in their homes, workplaces, religious groups, and communities across Cambodia.

-លើកកម្ពស់ការទទួលស្គាល់តួនាទី និងសារៈសំខាន់របស់ម្តាយ ក្នុងការកសាងគ្រួសារ និងការចូលរួមអភិវឌ្ឍសហគមន៍ ដើម្បីជំរុញការយល់ដឹងអំពីសមភាព និងភាពរឹងមាំរបស់ស្ត្រី។
-បង្កើតវេទិកាឲ្យម្តាយពីបរិបទផ្សេងៗ (ទីក្រុង និងសហគមន៍ ) ចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍ជីវិត និងតួនាទីជាម្តាយ
-លើកទឹកចិត្តការរៀនសូត្រពីគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមករវាងស្ត្រីក្នុងគ្រួសារ និងសហគមន៍
- ជំរុញឲ្យស្ត្រីមានទំនុកចិត្តក្នុងការចូលរួមសកម្មភាពសង្គម និងការសម្រេចចិត្តក្នុងសហគមន៍

💕 Celebrating Mother’s Day 💁‍♀️
👉 On May 1st, Peace Bridges Organization collaborated with the Love Center to organize the Annual Women’s Gathering (Mother’s Appreciation Day) at the Love Center. The event featured a keynote speaker, Ms. Yim Sotheary, from Kok Khleang Sangkat, Sen Sok District, Phnom Penh.
Theme: The Voice of Mothers
Participants were women invited from diverse sectors, including education, NGOs, churches, community groups, and women from four provinces: Kratie, Stung Treng, Preah Vihear, and Kampong Thom.
Objectives:
* To promote recognition of the role and importance of mothers in building families and contributing to community development, while raising awareness of gender equality and women’s resilience.
* To create a platform for mothers from different contexts (urban and community settings) to share life experiences and their roles as mothers.
* To encourage mutual learning among women within families and communities.
* To empower women with confidence to actively participate in social activities and community decision-making.
* To create a space for sharing and reflecting on the values and strength of mothers in society.
Total participants: 37 women, 11 youth, and 2 children (including 1 girl from Preah Vihear Province).

* ក្តីស្រឡាញ់ក្នុងគ្រួសារ៖ សូមឱ្យការជួបជុំសាច់ញាតិមិត្តភក្តិ ពោរពេញដោយភាពរីករាយ ស្នាមញញឹម និងសន្តិភាពផ្លូវចិត្តដ៏បរិបូរណ៍ គ្របដណ្ដប់លើរាល់ការសន្ទនា និងសកម្មភាពនានា។

👉 Communities facing land issues and the conservation of natural resources
👉 Women, children, and Indigenous peoples who need support and to be heard

Across the Prey Lang areas of Kampong Thom, Kratie, Stung Treng, and Preah Vihear, women involved in WEC are contributing their time, energy, and local knowledge to forest and river patrols. With the support of men, community leaders, and local authorities, they are learning, participating, and sharing responsibility for protecting their shared environment.
This growing collaboration reflects a positive spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. When women’s voices are included, communities become stronger, more united, and better able to care for their land for future generations. 💚
