Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of National Environment Day and World Environment Day, under the theme, “Zero Waste”

This occasion is organized to raise environmental awareness and encourage citizens, monks, armed forces personnel, civil servants, students, and the public to actively participate in environmental protection (air, water, and noise quality). Together, we can better manage waste, plastic, and other solid waste, keeping our planet clean, green, and sustainable for the benefit of present and future generations.

តំណាងកុមារចំនួន ២ រូបពីប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានចូលរួមក្នុង កិច្ចពិគ្រោះយោបល់កុមារប្រចាំតំបន់អាស៊ី ស្តីពីពិធីសារបន្ថែមទី៤ (OP4) នៃអនុសញ្ញាស្តីពីសិទ្ធិកុមារ តាមប្រព័ន្ធអនឡាញ។

On 30 May 2026,

Two child representatives from Cambodia participated in the Asia Regional Children’s Consultation on the Fourth Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (OP4) through an online platform.

The consultation provided an important opportunity for children from across Asia to share their experiences, perspectives, and recommendations on issues affecting children’s rights and access to justice. It also created a space for children to discuss how international child rights mechanisms can better respond to the realities and needs of children.

As representatives of Cambodian children, they actively engaged in the discussions and emphasized the importance of ensuring that all children have access to information, child-friendly protection and accountability mechanisms, and meaningful opportunities to express their views on matters affecting them.

CRC-Cambodia congratulates and commends the participation of these Cambodian child representatives for bringing the voices and perspectives of children in Cambodia to the regional platform. Their contributions help advance children’s rights and strengthen meaningful child participation in regional and global discussions.

ក្រុមកុមារអ្នកតស៊ួមតិតបានចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំប្រមូលមតិយោបល់ជាមួយកុមារ និងយុវជន ស្តីពីបញ្ហាសមភាពយេនឌ័រ ពិការភាព និងបរិយាបន្នសង្គម (GEDSI) ក្រោមគម្រោង Sida-CSO Strengthening Project ដែលគាំទ្រថវិកាដោយ Sida តាមរយៈអង្គការ Save the Children in Cambodia។ វេទិកានេះមានការចូលរួមពីកុមារ និងយុវជនចំនួន ២៤/១០ស្រី មកពីបណ្តាញដែលដឹកនាំដោយកុមារ និងយុវជន។

On 25 May 2026 in Stung Treng Province

Child Advocacy Network joint a feedback session with children and youth on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) issues under the Sida-CSO Strengthening Project, funded by Sida through Save the Children in Cambodia. The session engaged 24/10F participants from Child and Youth-Led Networks.

The session created a safe and inclusive space for children and youth from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences, challenges, and recommendations related to inclusion, participation, gender equality, and disability rights.

Through participatory discussions and child-friendly activities, participants highlighted key issues affecting children and youth and proposed practical solutions to strengthen inclusive policies, programmes, and accountability.

ក្រុមកុមារអ្នកតស៊ួមតិ (CAN) បានចូលរួមសកម្មភាព “យុវជនដឹកនាំសកម្មភាព និងយុទ្ធនាការតស៊ូមតិអំពីបម្រែបម្រួលអាកាសធាតុ” នៅក្នុងឃុំចំនួន៤ នៃស្រុកអង្គរជុំ ខេត្តសៀមរាប។ សកម្មភាពនេះមានការចូលរួមពីអ្នកចូលរួមសរុបចំនួន ១៨២នាក់ ក្នុងនោះមានកុមារី និងស្ត្រីចំនួន ១០៩នាក់ ហើយបានផ្សព្វផ្សាយដល់សមាជិកសហគមន៍ប្រមាណ ១,០០០នាក់។

On 09 May 2026

Child Advocacy Network members attend Youth-led Climate Action and Advocacy Campaign activities across four communes in Angkor Chum District, Siem Reap Province. The activities engaged 182 participants, including 109 girls and women, and reached around 1,000 community members.

Children and youth leaders actively championed climate action, child rights, and environmental sustainability through awareness-raising and community engagement activities. Together, we are empowering young voices to build a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for all.
