We recently started a computer literacy class at Wild Rose school. The purpose of the classes is to open an opportunity in the community for people to get experience with computers, free of tuition. We realize that many of these students will never even touch a computer until they reach university unless an opportunity is provided for them.Most of the students that volunteer to participate in the class come from the local high school. They are doing this over and above their regular studies.This is one of the graduating classes of our initial computer literacy course. The course lasted 3 1/2 months and went through the basic Microsoft office programs. We are very proud of them and grateful that they took the opportunity that was provided

As a way to enhance learning and give the children something to work towards, Wild Rose School hosted a spelling bee competition. The winners were able to receive prizes and all the kids were able to participate.
We’re grateful for the teachers and staff who constantly find ways to make the learning, interactive and engaging for the children. We’re all too grateful for the children and all the hard work they put in to learning English.

It’s the beginning of a new term at Wild Rose School in Cambodia. We are thrilled to enroll 70 new students into the school this term. A lot of parents and families have been waiting a long time to get their students enrolled. Unfortunately capacity is limited.We are grateful for the blessings of education and family support

Local Friends! We are needing clothing donations for children ages 5-12. Here are some pictures of our school children when they are not at Wild Rose Schools. All of them are poor and clothing is scarce sometimes.
I will be going over to Cambodia in less than two weeks and our school principal has requested that I bring any children's clothing I can muster up. It is hot over there so the children need summer clothing. Shirts, pants, and shorts for girls or boys.
If you feel the urge to give, I promise you that this clothing will go to good use. It we be appreciated and worn out. Please reach out to me by November 8th if you have any to donate. Your generosity is much appreciated!

The teachers and principal at Wild Rose Schools send me pictures of the children in their classrooms regularly. I am always so impressed with the collaboration and group work that these children and teachers do to gain education. Education can be taken for granted sometimes in the developed world, when in the developing world, people hunger for the opportunity. Every day these wonderful and dedicated teachers are preparing and delivering lessons to build the next generation and every day these students are soaking it up with dedication mixed in with fun games, group work, and lots of interaction.

Wild Rose School in Cambodia had a spelling bee and speaking competition. We are so grateful for the teachers that prepared their students, the students who studied so hard, and the parents who came out to support learning!

Hello Teachers and Home School Families. I need some help. As many of you know, we work closely with Wild Rose School in Cambodia to help underprivileged children get an excellent free education. We focus on language arts and learning the English language heavily. Right now are children have been supplementing their learning in our computer lab and we have been using ABC Mouse and IXL Learning as software programs to engage them in learning.
The children have been voraciously working their way through these two software platforms and we are looking for more options. Can anyone recommend some other software programs that would benefit our wonderful students? Any direction would be appreciated.

Happy Father's Day from Wild Rose School. The holiday provided a great chance for the kids to increase their English vocabulary and put it to use. I am impressed with their focused minds, thoughtful words, and busy hands.

We need help!
These are the books we bought last year for our students, and as you can see, the books get used up, worn out and put to great use.
The curriculum is everything in educating a child.

It's that time of year that we need to buy new books for the upcoming school year. We have 400 students and we have got the cost down to $3.00 per student for curriculum and workbooks per year. That means we need to raise $1200 for books total.

If you are able to help us and the kids at Wild Rose School, we would greatly appreciate it. Wild Rose School is a registered non-profit and it will count as a tax write off and go directly to the purchase of books. If you have an inkling to help, please follow that inkling!

At Wild Rose School we held a public speaking forum for our high school students. During they day, we educate elementary age students. At night we open our school with free tuition to high school students who want to learn English. The students that come, study over and above their regular school hours to learn. We are thrilled the parents and others in the community have come out to support these children as they learn skills that will help them throughout life.
