ស្អាត ជានិច្ច - Saart Cheanich A Youth Engagement and Empowerment campaign, basically to help youth become champion and influencer in WASH to communicate the WASH message.

Saart Cheanich-ស្អាតជានិច្ច គឺជាយុទ្ធនាការមួយដែលបានបង្កើតឡើងសដើម្បីផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៍មានទៅកាន់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាទាក់ទងនឹងការប្រើប្រាស់បង្គន់អនាម័យ, ការប្រើប្រាស់ទឹកស្អាត, ការរស់នៅប្រចាំថ្ងៃប្រកបដោយអនាម័យស្អាត ស្របទៅតាមពាក្យស្លោកខ្មែរ "រស់នៅស្អាត ហូបស្អាត​ ផឹកស្អាត។"
គោលបំណងនៃយុទ្ធនាការនេះគឺ
• ផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៍មានពីអត្ថប្រយោជន៏នៃការផឹកទឹកស្អាត ការប្រើប្រាស់បង្គន់អនាម័យ និងការលាងដៃជាមួយសាប៊ូឲ្យបានញឹកញាប់
• ផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៍មានទាក់ទងនឹងគម្រោងវ៉ាស (WASH) ទៅកាន់ប្រជាជន។

WaterAid is working with youths from Eco-Stewards on the Your Turn Project to empower young leaders to take active roles in addressing local climate and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) challenges.

The objectives of this project are:
🍀 To build foundational understanding of climate change and its local impacts on WASH in Cambodia.
🍀 To strengthen participants’ capacity in problem analysis, participatory tools, and action planning.
🍀 To foster critical thinking, collaboration, and inclusive leadership among youth leaders.
🍀 To empower participants to identify risks, map community assets, and design initial action strategies.

On Sunday 17 December, the “Did you know?” campaign was successfully wrapped up with the attendance of our volunteers for the presenting of certificates, and souvenirs.

Our volunteers, for one last time, got to learn more about the creation of our project, and how we handled the entire process from day one until the end of the campaign. They too had the opportunity to present their teams’ case studies, the inspiration behind each story, and their impressions on working with We for WASH, and in the WASH sector as a whole.

Our team was more than grateful to be able to share this journey with passionate, and aspiring youths who, we believe, will grow to achieve so much more in their professional career aspect, and as an individual.

Last but not least, We for WASH would like to pay our gratitude to our gracious sponsor, WaterAid Cambodia for making this possible, to our beloved audience for keeping up with us since the beginning of our project, to our volunteers for investing their precious time in our campaign, and lastly, to our diligent teammates for sticking together through thick and thin, through stress, and countless deadlines. We owe this achievement to everyone involved.
