Happy Children’s Day!

Every child carries a story that is still being written.

On this Children’s Day, we celebrate the individuality that makes childhood such a remarkable part of life. Behind every dream is a child who deserves encouragement. Behind every achievement is a child who was given the chance to believe in themselves.

To all children, may you continue to see the world with wonder and approach the future with confidence.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 74th Birthday of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, the beloved King of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

His Majesty's reign has been a symbol of peace, unity, and dedication to the Cambodian people.

As we mark this special day, our thoughts and prayers are especially with His Majesty as he currently undergoes medical treatment in China. Though the distance may be great, the love and support of the Cambodian people remain close to his heart.

We hold deep hope and faith that His Majesty will overcome this challenge with strength and return home in good health to the nation that cherishes him. May he be blessed with a swift recovery, renewed strength, and a life full of health and happiness to continue guiding our beloved country forward.

Celebrating the Royal Ploughing Ceremony 🌾

Today marks a meaningful moment in our cultural, one that beautifully reflects the deep connection between our people, our land, and our traditions. The Royal Ploughing Ceremony is not only a symbolic start to the farming season, but also a reminder of how agriculture continues to shape our identity and sustain our daily lives.

This ceremony carries generations of wisdom, hope, and respect for nature. It highlights the importance of harmony between humans and the environment, while honoring the dedication of farmers who work tirelessly to provide for the nation.

As we witness this tradition, we are reminded that our future depends on how well we care for our land today. It encourages us to value and protect our natural resources, and support one another as a community.

Happy third day of Khmer New Year!

The third and final day of Khmer New Year is called Virak Leung Sak. According to Khmer tradition, people gather at pagodas to conclude the celebrations. They also offer food to monks, perform Bangsokol ceremonies, build sand stupas, and listen to Dharma teachings.

Most importantly, people take part in the Buddha bathing ceremony, where water is gently poured over Buddha statues. This ritual symbolizes cleansing and is believed to bring blessings, good fortune, and prosperity for the year ahead.

As we celebrate Vireak Leung Sak, may this final day wash away all worries and bring you a fresh start filled with peace and happiness. We wish you and your family endless blessings, good health, and success in the year ahead.

Happy second day of Khmer New Year!

The second day of Khmer New Year is known as Virak Vanabat. This is the day that focuses on sharing, giving, and showing respect to others. On this day, people prepare offerings to present to their parents, elders, and respected individuals as a way to express gratitude and love. At the same time, they also practice charity by donating food, materials, or money to those in need.

After completing these acts of giving, it is a tradition for Cambodian people to visit pagodas, just like on the first day, to offer food to monks, perform Bangsokol ceremonies, build sand stupas, and listen to Dharma teachings.

We hope you continue to enjoy Khmer New Year filled with kindness, generosity, and meaningful moments. May your days be blessed with happiness, peace, and unending prosperity.

Happy first day of Khmer New Year!

A day of celebration for Khmer people all over the world.

The first day of Khmer New Year is called Moha Sangkran. On this special day, people prepare their homes by decorating and arranging ornaments and offerings such as flowers, incense, candles, and food to welcome the New Year angel. Families often gather together to perform a blessing ceremony to the year’s angel, praying for good fortune and prosperity in the year ahead. It is a tradition for Cambodian people to visit pagodas to offer food to monks, pay respect to their ancestors through ceremonies like Bangsokol, build sand stupas, and listen to Dharma teachings.

We hope you enjoy Khmer New Year surrounded by warmth and meaningful traditions. May this new year bring you happiness, good health, and success in all that you do. Let this special time be a moment to reconnect with family, reflect on the past year, and look forward to new beginnings.

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, people celebrate the day with their loved ones, but Valentine’s Day has its roots in the story of St. Valentine, a priest in ancient Rome known for his compassion and bravery. At a time when marriage was restricted, he is believed to have helped couples in secret and cared for those who were suffering, acts that ultimately led to his death. Over time, his legacy became associated with love, kindness, and selflessness, reminding us that Valentine’s Day is not only about romance but also about honoring his spirit of care and humanity.

With that in mind, Today is a celebration of love in all its forms, showing through kindness, gratitude, and respect for one another. It is a day to reflect on how our words, actions, and attitudes can positively impact those around us.
It reminds us to be caring, patient, and grateful to those who support our growth. Let’s spread positivity wherever we go, fostering unity and a supportive community for all. 🌷

Sometimes we forget that being human means having limits. You can’t fully control or fix everything for everyone; family, friends, work, school, goal, daily task; but that doesn’t make you weak or selfish. Doing your best within your capacity is already enough, and it’s okay to acknowledge that. And remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. If you love people, you must take care of yourself first.
