Students at Chuay Primary School gathered together under the shade of a tree to enjoy reading books from the school library. Through folktales and storybooks, children are encouraged to build a love for reading, learning, and sharing stories with one another in a fun and relaxed environment. 💛

នៅតាមសាលារៀនដែលគាំទ្រដោយ UWS កម្ពុជា សិស្សានុសិស្សកំពុងអនុវត្តនូវអនាម័យល្អ ដោយលាងដៃនៅកន្លែងលាងដៃដែលបានដំឡើងនៅគ្រប់សាលារៀនទាំងអស់។ បរិក្ខាសាមញ្ញទាំងនេះមានសារៈសំខាន់ខ្លាំងក្នុងការជួយកុមារបង្កើតទម្លាប់អនាម័យល្អពេញមួយជីវិត និងរក្សាសុខភាពល្អក្នុងថ្នាក់រៀន។

Clean hands, healthy habits, brighter learning ✋💧

At schools supported by UWS Cambodia, students are practicing good hygiene by washing their hands at the handwashing stations installed across every school. These simple but essential facilities help children build lifelong healthy habits and stay well in the classroom.

Our Education Officer also took the time to encourage students, reinforcing the importance of regular handwashing as part of daily school life. Together, we are supporting healthier schools and happier learners every day. 💙

ការពង្រឹងការអប់រំតាមរយៈកិច្ចសហការជាមួយសហគមន៍ 💙

មន្ត្រីអប់រំរបស់យើង បានជួបពិភាក្សាជាមួយអាណាព្យាបាលសិស្ស និងអាជ្ញាធរសាលារៀន ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាអំពីអាទិភាពសំខាន់ៗក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់លទ្ធផលសិក្សា និងការអភិវឌ្ឍសាលារៀន។ កិច្ចពិភាក្សានេះបានផ្ដោតលើការស្វែងរកការគាំទ្រសម្រាប់ការបង្កើតសាលាមត្តេយ្យសហគមន៍ ការលើកទឹកចិត្តឲ្យមានការគាំទ្រការសិក្សារបស់កុមារ ដើម្បីឲ្យពួកគេអាចបញ្ចប់យ៉ាងហោចណាស់ថ្នាក់ទី 9 និងការពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហការដើម្បីអភិវឌ្ឍ និងធ្វើឲ្យសាលារៀនមានការរីកចម្រើនបន្ថែមទៀត។

Strengthening education through community collaboration 💙

Our Education Officer recently met with students’ guardians and school authorities to discuss key priorities for improving learning outcomes and school development. The discussion focused on mobilising support for the establishment of a community-based kindergarten, encouraging continued parental support so that children can complete at least Grade 9, and strengthening collaboration to further develop and improve the school.

Together, these conversations reflect a shared commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a supportive environment.

Our Girls’ Club members are exploring a storybook on children’s rights developed by the UWS Cambodia team, helping students better understand their rights, wellbeing, and the importance of speaking up for themselves and others.

Through engaging reading and discussion, these young learners are building awareness, confidence, and the knowledge they need to grow in a safe and supportive environment.
