On July 21, 2026, Kampuchea Sëla Handicap , in partnership with The Rabbit School (RSO) and Damnok Toek Organization (DTO), and with the generous support of the Ambassade de France au Cambodge, successfully held our second workshop at Impact Hub Phnom Penh.

This session continued our vital discussions on advancing inclusive employment and creating meaningful opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities and autism.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all stakeholders, participants, and partners who joined us to share their insights and experiences.

A special thanks goes to all the companies who joined and gave their precious time to support this survey project on the inclusive employment of people with intellectual disabilities in Cambodia.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Impact Hub Phnom Penh for providing the venue, and to Pikartist Cafe & Restaurant - Homemade with Love and Joy, a training center for people with intellectual disabilities - for the wonderful catering service.

Our Kampuchea Sëla Handicap community recently enjoyed our annual trip to the beautiful provinces of Kampot and Kep, bringing together our residents and team for a few days of relaxation, discovery, and fun.

These moments away from our daily routine strengthen friendships, encourage independence, and create lasting memories. We are grateful to our residents and staff for making this trip such a joyful and meaningful experience.

On **July 1, 2026**, Kampuchea Sëla Handicap (KSH), The Rabbit School (RSO), and Damnok Toek Organization (DTO), with the support of the Ambassade de France au Cambodge, co-organized a full-day **Inclusive Employment Workshop** at Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh.

The workshop brought together employers, organizations of persons with disabilities, civil society organizations, persons with intellectual disabilities and autism, and their families to share the findings of a national research study and discuss practical solutions to strengthen inclusive employment opportunities in Cambodia.

We were especially honored to welcome persons with disabilities, parents, employers, and partners whose lived experiences and valuable insights helped identify key barriers and shape recommendations for building a more inclusive labour market where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and thrive.

KSH was delighted to welcome members of the 3PC Cambodia network for a meaningful exchange on disability inclusion in Cambodia.

The visit included discussions on challenges and solutions for inclusive employment, a tour of our Vocational Training Center, lunch prepared by our students at Pikartist Cafe & Restaurant - Homemade with Love and Joy, and visits to two companies where KSH graduates are successfully employed.

Together, we are building a more inclusive Cambodia. 💙

🤝 Launch of the Intellectual Disability Job Coaching Alliance (ID-JCA)

On 17 June 2026, Kampuchea Sëla Handicap (KSH) welcomed representatives from MoSVY, local authorities, companies, parents of persons with intellectual disabilities, and disability inclusion stakeholders to discuss a common vision for inclusive employment in Cambodia.

This event marked the launch of the Intellectual Disability Job Coaching Alliance (ID-JCA), a collaborative platform dedicated to promoting employment opportunities and strengthening job coaching support for people with intellectual disabilities.

The founding members of the Alliance are Kampuchea Sëla Handicap, Komar Pikar Foundation KPF, Workable Cambodia Consulting, and PACHID, who have joined forces to create stronger pathways between job seekers with intellectual disabilities and inclusive employers.

Together, the Alliance aims to foster collaboration, share expertise, and advocate for a labor market where people with intellectual disabilities can access meaningful and sustainable employment.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💙 This week, KSH hosted a Parents Peer Support Group at Leng Dei, facilitated by PACHID (Parents Association of Children with Intellectual Disabilities).

Seven parents came together to exchange experiences and discuss ways to support the autonomy, daily living skills, and inclusion of their sons and daughters with intellectual disabilities.

The event was also supported by trainees from Pikartist Cafe, who prepared and served the catering as part of their hospitality training. ☕🌱
