We conduct a meeting one day before the last day of our Dutch volunteer, Sarah, after she spent four months with NFC working on additional StudyMatch tools, so called StudyGuides. The StudyGuides, specifically the Teacher Handbook and Student Workbook, will be completed soon.
The additional tools are essential for Cambodian high school students, especially underprivileged students from CEP and CSEP, in helping them make well-informed decisions regarding their future university majors or vocational training pathways. In addition, the developed StudyGuides will provide significant support to both students and their mentors in effectively navigating this important decision-making process.
Thank you so much, Sarah, for your hard work, creativity, and initiative in this task.

Our Dutch volunteer, Sarah, together with the CSEP teacher, meet with families of CSEP high school students to conduct a survey on how parents make decisions regarding their children’s continuation into higher education or vocational training.
The survey data will be used to further update and develop the StudyMatch tool, which aims to support high school graduates in choosing suitable university majors or vocational training pathways for their future education.

Our Student Coordinator conducted a small workshop for the secondary school children at CSEP to introduce vocational training opportunities for their future education and careers.
At the same time, he encouraged the students to study hard and stay committed to their goals, especially those who wish to continue to higher education after graduating from high school. We hope these opportunities and guidance will inspire the children to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
