pull up a chair here with us in the dirt. We had the privilege this morning in Kep, Cambodia, to hear from a village elder who at 80+ has many years of wisdom and perspective to share.
He lived through the horrific years of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Despite immense struggles faced his optimism served to bolden our own perspective and reshape the way we perceive challenges in our own lives.
One part of wisdom he wanted to impart was “Nobody will ever love you and care for you a deeply as your parents.”
