One of the greatest privileges of our work is seeing the long-term impact that education can have, not just for one individual, but for an entire family.

Our journey with Hongda began back in 2011, before his daughter Seavhong was even born. Over the years, EDGE Worldwide has had the opportunity to support Hongda through education, business mentoring, and microfinance support. Today, we are so proud to share that he runs his own successful real estate business, and we are incredibly proud to continue the educational journey by supporting his daughter, Seavhong, with her English language studies.

These photos capture a simple but meaningful moment: father and daughter studying together at home, continuing to invest in education long after the school day has finished. It is something that has been embedded in Hongda that he now passes onto Seavhong.

Watching families embrace learning across generations reminds us why we do what we do. Education doesn't just change one life, it creates opportunities that can be passed from one generation to the next.

We wish Seavhong every success as she continues her educational journey, and we're proud to be a part of her story.

We are delighted to support Touch Sana as she continues her educational journey by providing a bicycle to help her travel to school.

For many students in rural Cambodia, access to education can be limiting and something as simple as transport to school can be a challenge and become one of the barriers to continuing their education. By removing that barrier, we hope to help students like Sana remain in school, pursue their dreams, and create new opportunities for their future.

We wish her every success and look forward to following her journey in the years ahead.

Full circle moments are rare. Over a decade ago, I sponsored Hongda through education, language growth, and early business development. Since then, we’ve walked side-by-side on community and education-based projects that changed many lives. He now runs his own real estate business and I couldn’t be prouder.

Today, I had the privilege stepping forward with Hongda’s young daughter to support her in the same way her father and I once began: through education, growth, and belief in possibility. Education shifts futures, families, and communities and moments like this remind me why this work matters. Grateful for the road behind, and excited for the one ahead.
