Congratulations, Chanthou! 🌟
We are thrilled to share Chanthou’s wonderful achievement: she has secured a job in her field of training, earning a decent salary and gaining the independence to support herself and her family.
This milestone was made possible through her strong foundation and determination, as well as the support she received along the way. Chanthou, who grew up in a remote community, has been supported by SEED since primary school. After successfully completing lower secondary school, SEED facilitated her transition into vocational training at AVEC (Volunteers’ Aid for Cambodian Children), an excellent training centre that provides full sponsorship, practical skills, and attentive care.
Chanthou’s journey is a powerful example of how access to education and vocational training can create real, lasting change. We are incredibly proud of her and wish her continued growth, confidence, and success in the years ahead.

Our kindergarten is open again after the Khmer New Year break. The children are back to learning, playing, laughing — and enjoying a healthy meal together.

Congratulations to Pich, a vocational student at This Life Cambodia in Siem Reap!
With partial support from SEED he completed eight months of motorcycle repair training and has now begun his internship.
We will continue to support him on his journey and help ensure he can find work once his training is complete.
We’re proud of his dedication and excited for his future.

Happy Khmer New Year!
Today we celebrated with 170 students from three schools at Sbaek Khlouk Primary School — a day full of joy, laughter, and traditional Khmer games.

A beautiful highlight: Heidi Hinrichs, an actress from in Germany brought the legend “The Frog Prince” to life and generously gifted 230 loaves of bread and many sets of clothing to the children.

Thank you, Heidi, for your kindness and your big heart. We love you!

In our Butterfly Dance, the children explore new ways to express themselves — through movement, imagination, and joy. Art helps them build confidence, creativity, and a voice of their own.

As one of many girls living far from school, Dyna has shown incredible courage in overcoming every obstacle to pursue her lower secondary education. Seed, a member of the Battambang Education Support Team (BEST), participated in the Education Sector Review and Future Direction Meeting of the Battambang Provincial Department of Education, which took place at the Stung Sangke Conference Hall from January 29 to 30, 2026. On this occasion, Seed for Cambodia Organization (SEED) was honored to receive a letter of appreciation from the Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports and was personally honored by His Excellency Dr. Professor Hang Chuan Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports of Cambodia. Seed for Cambodia Organization (SEED) has helped and continues to assist schools, students, and communities through its projects, such as:
» Providing scholarships to lower and upper secondary school students
» Offering free training courses in English language and computer skills
» Community preschool classes providing care, education, breakfast, and afternoon sessions
» A lunch program for primary school students who live far from school and study two shifts
» Library support programs
» Support for school infrastructure development
» Sponsorship support for students who have dropped out to continue their vocational skills training
» Providing emergency relief assistance to students' families
» Providing cattle to help improve the future livelihoods of scholarship students' families
» Along with various other support provided to target students and schools With support and assistance from Switzerland and Germany. 🇨🇭 and 🇩🇪
With three target schools: Sbek Khluok Primary School, Arey Primary School, and Tanuot Primary School.
Seed for Cambodia Organization (SEED) expresses gratitude for the letter of appreciation from the department head, which demonstrates excellent mutual support and serves as a great encouragement and motivation to further streamline and greatly improve our work in serving the education sector for the benefit of children and the next generation of students.
