ថ្ងៃនេះ យើងបានចូលរួមអមដំណើរស្តីពីការរៃអង្គាសថវិកាក្នុងវិស័យសង្គម ដែលសម្របសម្រួលដោយ AuxoHub សហការជាមួយ Women Win និងទទួលបានការគាំទ្រដោយមោទនភាពពីអ្នកបរិច្ចាគរបស់យើងគឺ Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) តាមរយៈមូលនិធិភាពធន់។ 💜

🌸 Resilience Fund Support Session on Fundraising Communication 🌸

Today, we joined an Accompaniment Session on Fundraising in the Social Sector, facilitated by AuxoHub in collaboration with Women Win, and proudly supported by our donors Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) Women's Fund Asia through the Resilience Fund. 💜

This session marked the conclusion of a two part learning journey designed to strengthen our collective understanding of fundraising strategy and communications grounded in feminist values and care. 💪✨

Throughout the session, we explored practical tools and shared reflections on:
✨ Common roadblocks in fundraising
✨ Progress from the 30-Day Fundraising Challenge
✨ Barriers faced while implementing fundraising actions
✨ Challenges in identifying and connecting with donors
✨ Anatomy of a successful pitch deck
✨ Building blocks of an organizational deck

It was an inspiring and collaborative space, reminding us that fundraising is not only about resources, but about relationships, storytelling, and collective resilience. 🌱

វាជាបទពិសោធន៍ដ៏អស្ចារ្យមួយសម្រាប់ក្រុមយុវជន SafeSpaceBTB ដែលបានចូលរួមក្នុងសិក្ខាសាលាអនឡាញ FRIDA Feminist Fund! យើងបានរៀនច្រើនអំពីភាពជាស្រ្តី និងរបៀប នៃការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ និងបរិបទពិតជាសំខាន់នៅក្នុងការងាររបស់យើង។

It was a great experience for the SafeSpaceBTB youth team to join the FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund Online Workshop! We learned so much about feminist learning and how care and context truly matter in our work.

Through the sessions, we explored how storytelling can be a powerful form of reporting, helping us strengthen our practices within feminist movements and share our impact in meaningful ways.

We also gained valuable insights into the key elements of feminist reporting how to tell stories that center women’s voices, experiences, and realities. Moreover, we deepened our understanding of FRIDA’s incredible role: their support, values, and ongoing efforts to empower communities and advance feminist change.

We’re feeling truly inspired and grateful for this opportunity to grow, connect, and learn alongside amazing feminist changemakers from around the world.

🌕💦 Happy Cambodia Water Festival (Bon Om Touk)! 🇰🇭

Celebrated every November during the full moon, this festival marks the end of the rainy season and the amazing natural reversal of the Tonle Sap River’s flow a phenomenon unique to Cambodia.

Dating back to the Angkorian era under King Jayavarman VII, the Water Festival originally honored the Khmer naval forces and celebrated victories at sea. Today, it remains a symbol of national pride, unity, and gratitude to nature.

Across the country, people enjoy colorful boat races, glowing river floats (Loy Pratip), moon offerings, and fireworks lighting up the sky. It’s a joyful time for families to gather, give thanks, and celebrate harmony between people and nature.

នៅថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ក្រុមយុវជនរបស់យើងមានឱកាសចូលរួមវេទិកាសន្តិភាពកម្ពុជា៖ ការធានាអនាគត ដែលបានប្រារព្ធឡើងនៅ សហគ្រិនខ្មែរ Khmer Enterprise។ វាគឺជាកន្លែងដ៏បំផុសគំនិត និងមានអត្ថន័យសម្រាប់ការរៀនសូត្រ ការសន្ទនា និងការឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងអំពីរបៀបនៃការកសាងសន្តិភាពពិតជាចាប់ផ្តើមដោយការយល់ចិត្ត និងការយោគយល់។ ✨

🌿 SafeSpaceBTB at Cambodia’s Peace Forum 2025🌿
On 29th October 2025, our youth team had the opportunity to join the Cambodia Peace Forum: Securing the Future, held at សហគ្រិនខ្មែរ Khmer Enterprise. It was an inspiring and meaningful space for learning, dialogue, and reflection on how peacebuilding truly begins with empathy and understanding. ✨

Throughout the session, we deepened our knowledge of Cambodia’s history of conflict, from the Pol Pot regime to border tensions with Vietnam and Thailand, and the experiences of the Khmer Muslim community. These conversations reminded us that peace is not just the absence of violence, but the presence of justice, compassion, and dignity for all communities. 🕊

We also learned about:
✅ How storytelling and dialogue can transform conflicts
✅ Empathy as a foundation of peace
✅ The role of youth in shaping a culture of mutual respect
✅ Using creativity and community engagement as tools for healing

Our youth left feeling empowered to continue promoting peaceful dialogue and inclusivity within our own community in Battambang. ❤️

ក្នុងនាមជាផ្នែកមួយនៃការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលជាតិស្តីពីយុត្តិធម៌យេនឌ័រ និងសិទ្ធិផ្លូវភេទ យើងមានកិត្តិយសយ៉ាងក្រៃលែងក្នុងការស្វាគមន៍ក្រុម KHANA Cambodiaនិង GJSR Platform មកកាន់សហគមន៍ SafeSpaceBtB។ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលនៃដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចនេះ យើងបានចែករំលែកដំណើររបស់យើងចាប់តាំងពីឆ្នាំ 2020, របៀបដែលយើងប្រើប្រាស់ សិល្បៈ ការនិទានរឿង និងការបញ្ចេញមតិច្នៃប្រឌិត ជាឧបករណ៍ដ៏មានឥទ្ធិពលដើម្បីបង្កើនការយល់ដឹង ប្រឈមនឹងការរើសអើង និងលើកកម្ពស់សមភាព។

តាមរយៈstudios សិល្បៈ និងគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមដឹកនាំដោយយុវជនរបស់យើង យើងបានបង្កើតការសម្តែង សិល្បៈទស្សនីយភាព ឯកសារ យុទ្ធនាការសហគមន៍ វិចិត្រសាល និងព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ផ្តោតលើការព្យាបាល ដែលភ្ជាប់សិទ្ធិមនុស្សជាមួយនឹងវប្បធម៌ អត្តសញ្ញាណ និងបទពិសោធន៍រស់នៅ។ សិល្បៈបានអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យយុវជន និងសំឡេងដែលត្រូវគេដាក់ឲ្យនៅដាច់ដោយឡែកបង្ហាញពីអ្វីដែលជារឿយៗមិនអាចនិយាយបានជាពាក្យសម្ដីបំលែងការឈឺចាប់ទៅជាសេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរ ភាពមើលឃើញ និងសកម្មភាពរួម។

🌈 Art as a Bridge for Inclusion & Human Rights 🎭✨

As part of the National Training on Gender Justice and Sexual Rights, we were deeply honored to welcome the KHANA and GJSR Platform team to the SafeSpaceBtB community space. During the visit, we shared our journey since 2020, how we use art, storytelling, and creative expression as powerful tools to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and promote equality.

Through our art studios and youth-led initiatives, we have developed performances, visual arts, documentaries, community campaigns, galleries, and healing-centered events that connect human rights with culture, identity, and lived experience. Art has allowed young people and marginalized voices to express what often cannot be said in words, transforming pain into dignity, visibility, and collective action.

This exchange was not only an opportunity to present our work, but also a moment of mutual learning, solidarity, and inspiration. We are grateful to KHANA for taking the time to listen, witness, and uplift community-based initiatives grounded in care, creativity, and justice.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration toward a future where everyone can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

ចាប់ពីការស្វែងយល់ពីគោលគំនិតសំខាន់ៗដូចជា SOGIESC អំណាច និង ប្រព័ន្ធបិតាធិបតេយ្យ រហូតដល់ការយល់ដឹងអំពីសិទ្ធិផ្លូវភេទ យុត្តិធម៌ផ្អែកលើពិការភាព និងចំណុចអន្តរប្រសព្វ GEDSI យើងបានរៀនពីរបៀបដែលទម្រង់ផ្សេងៗគ្នានៃការរើសអើងត្រួតស៊ីគ្នា - និងមូលហេតុដែលការរួមបញ្ចូល សមភាព និងយុត្តិធម៌សម្រាប់ទាំងអស់គ្នាគឺចាំបាច់ដើម្បីសម្រេចបាននូវការផ្លាស់ប្តូរពិតប្រាកដ។

ការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះ ដែលគាំទ្រដោយ Apcaso និងដឹកនាំដោយអ្នកសម្របសម្រួល និងអ្នកតស៊ូមតិសហគមន៍ដ៏បំផុសគំនិត ពិតជាបានពង្រីកទស្សនៈរបស់យើង និងពង្រឹងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់យើងក្នុងការបន្តតស៊ូមតិដើម្បីយុត្តិធម៌យេនឌ័រ ការរួមបញ្ចូល និងសិទ្ធិមនុស្សនៅក្នុងសហគមន៍របស់យើង។

🌈 Empowering Change through Gender Justice and Sexual Rights 🌈

After four days of intensive learning and collaboration at the National Training on Gender Justice and Sexual Rights (GJSR) organized by KHANA and the GJSR Platform, our team from SafeSpaceBattambang gained deeper insight into how gender, sexuality, and human rights intersect across health and community development.

From exploring key concepts like SOGIESC, power, and patriarchy, to understanding sexual rights, disability-based justice, and GEDSI intersectionality, we learned how different forms of discrimination overlap — and why inclusion, equality, and justice for all are essential to achieving real change.

This training, supported by APCASO and led by inspiring facilitators and community advocates, truly broadened our perspective and strengthened our commitment to continue advocating for gender justice, inclusion, and human rights within our communities.

We sincerely thank KHANA for the invitation and opportunity to be part of this meaningful initiative, and for their continued leadership in promoting gender-transformative and inclusive approaches across Cambodia. 💪✨

យើងមានកិត្តិយសក្នុងការចូលរួមក្នុងកិច្ចសន្ទនាថ្នាក់តំបន់ និងក្នុងប្រទេសស្តីពី “សុខភាពផ្លូវចិត្ត និងសេរីភាពនៃសហគមន៍អ្នកស្រឡាញ់ភេទដូចគ្នានៅកម្ពុជា” ដែលរៀបចំដោយម្ចាស់ជំនួយរបស់យើងគឺស្ថានទូតបារាំងប្រចាំនៅកម្ពុជា សហការជាមួយសង្គមស៊ីវិល និងដៃគូក្នុងតំបន់។

🌈✨ Pride, Progress, and Protection ✨🌈

We were honored to take part in the Regional and In-Country Dialogues on “Mental Health and Freedom of the LGBT+ Community in Cambodia”, organized by our donor, the Embassy of France in Cambodia Ambassade de France au Cambodge, in collaboration with civil society and regional partners.

This event gathered voices from across Cambodia and the region to discuss mental health, gender equality, and the wellbeing of the LGBT+ community, creating an inspiring and safe space for learning, reflection, and collaboration. 💬🤝

SafeSpaceBTB was proud to present our initiatives promoting mental health and diversity through creative expression, from theatre and animation to photography, makeup workshops, and song collaborations on mental health with local artists. 🎭📸🎶

We also shared about our ongoing Q***r Library and Q***r Cinema, which continue to provide inclusive spaces for connection and expression in Battambang. 🏳️‍🌈💫

A big thank you to the Embassy of France, all partner organizations, and every participant who continues to make Cambodia a safer and more compassionate space for all. ❤️
