WhatsApp 85587746511 The AKD School was founded in 2005 by Professor Richard Hick, an American Professor of English language, and Mr. Kamnat Soem, a former Buddhist Monk of ten years. Their vision was to give underprivileged Cambodian children the tools to build themselves a better future by providing them with free English

language classes – an area which government schools lack in despite the English language being in such high demand. Together, Richard and Kamnat opened their own school in the Cambodian city of Battambang, where it was managed by both founders until Richard passed away in 2009. Since then, Kamnat has been managing all operations of the AKD School, with the help of volunteers from around the world. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us as follows:
