ការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុកំពុងបង្កើតបញ្ហាប្រឈមកាន់តែច្រើនដល់សហគមន៍កសិករ ដូចជា ទឹកជំនន់ ភ្លៀងមិនទៀងទាត់ គ្រោះរាំងស្ងួត និងការកើនឡើងនៃសត្វល្អិត ដែលប៉ះពាល់ដល់ផលិតកម្មកសិកម្ម ប្រាក់ចំណូល និងសន្តិសុខស្បៀងរបស់គ្រួសារ។
ដើម្បីជួយសហគមន៍ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចបង្កើនភាពធន់ និងពង្រឹងសន្តិសុខស្បៀងក្នុងកម្រិតគ្រួសារ សមាគមនិរន្តរភាពដីដើម្បីជីវិត (SSLA) បានចែកជូន ទ្រុងចិញ្ចឹមកណ្ដូប និងផ្តល់ការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលបច្ចេកទេសស្តីពីការចិញ្ចឹមកណ្ដូប ដល់កសិករនៅភូមិប្រមេរ ឃុំត្បែងមានជ័យ ស្រុករវៀង ខេត្តព្រះវិហារ។
ហេតុអ្វីបានជាជ្រើសរើសការចិញ្ចឹមកណ្ដូប?
✅ ជាប្រភពអាហារដែលសម្បូរប្រូតេអ៊ីន និងសារធាតុចិញ្ចឹមសម្រាប់គ្រួសារ។
✅ ត្រូវការទុន វត្ថុធាតុ និងទីតាំងចិញ្ចឹមតិច បើប្រៀបធៀបនឹងការចិញ្ចឹមសត្វធំៗ។
✅ ងាយស្រួលគ្រប់គ្រង និងអាចទទួលបានផលក្នុងរយៈពេលខ្លី។
✅ ជួយបង្កើនប្រភពចំណូល និងធ្វើឱ្យជីវភាពគ្រួសារមានភាពចម្រុះ។
✅ ជាជម្រើសបន្ថែមក្នុងការពង្រឹងសន្តិសុខស្បៀង នៅពេលដំណាំរងផលប៉ះពាល់ដោយទឹកជំនន់ គ្រោះរាំងស្ងួត ឬការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។
សកម្មភាពនេះជាផ្នែកមួយនៃការអនុវត្ត កសិកម្មអេកូឡូស៊ី (Agroecology) ដែលផ្តោតលើការធ្វើកសិកម្មចម្រុះ ការប្រើប្រាស់ធនធានក្នុងមូលដ្ឋានប្រកបដោយចីរភាព ការគាំទ្រជីវចម្រុះ និងការការពារបរិស្ថាន។ ជាពិសេស វាជួយលើកកម្ពស់ការធ្វើពិពិធកម្មប្រព័ន្ធអាហារ និងជីវភាពដើម្បីឱ្យសហគមន៍អាចសម្របខ្លួនបាន
កាន់តែប្រសើរទៅនឹងផលប៉ះពាល់ពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។
នៅពេលកសិករមានប្រភពអាហារ និងប្រភពចំណូលចម្រុះ ពួកគេនឹងមានភាពធន់ខ្ពស់ជាងមុន អាចប្រឈមមុខ និងសម្របខ្លួនទៅនឹងហានិភ័យពីការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ ព្រមទាំងរួមចំណែកធានាបាននូវសន្តិសុខស្បៀងសម្រាប់គ្រួសារ និងសហគមន៍ប្រកបដោយចីរភាព។

Climate change is creating growing challenges for farming communities — floods, irregular rainfall, droughts, and rising pest populations -->> all of which disrupt agricultural production, household income, and food security.
To help Indigenous communities build resilience and strengthen food security at the household level, the Sustainable Soil for Life Association (SSLA) distributed grasshopper farming cages and provided technical training on grasshopper rearing to farmers in Promer Village, Tbaeng Meanchey Commune, Rovieng District, Preah Vihear Province.
Why should Ips farmers choose grasshopper farming?
✅ It's a rich source of protein and nutrients for the family.
✅ It requires low capital, minimal materials, and less space compared to raising larger livestock.
✅ It's easy to manage and yields results within a short period.
✅ It helps diversify income streams and household livelihoods.
✅ It offers an alternative way to strengthen food security when crops are affected by floods, droughts, or other climate impacts.
This initiative is part of agroecology practices, which focus on diversified farming, sustainable use of local resources, biodiversity support, and environmental protection. In particular, it promotes diversification of food systems and livelihoods, helping communities better adapt to the impacts of climate change.
When farmers have diverse sources of food and income, they become more resilient — better able to face and adapt to climate risks, while contributing to sustainable food security for their families and communities.
