Happy Khmer New Year!

Students at The Handa Academy celebrated with a Food Carnival Competition. Each class received a budget, chose what food to sell, and competed to earn the most money.

Along the way, students learned marketing strategies, calculated costs and profits, and used promotions to boost sales. With equal play money for everyone, pricing and creativity were key.

It was a fun day for students and staff, filled with teamwork, food stalls, and delicious treats.

We at The Handa Academy were pleased to host EMDR Cambodia for a Mental Health Workshop for the parents of our THA students and our community.
We had over 60 parents come to learn about mental health as a community and share many of the challenges they face.
At the workshop we learned that our families suffer the impacts of our worries and stressors. Talking with trusted friends, spending time in nature, meditation, and spending time with family are healthy ways to deal with our challenges. For our community members who need someone to talk to EMDR Cambodia has experienced counselors who can provide support.
We are excited to see the difference we can make in our students’ lives with the teachers and parents working together to protect our students from the harmful effects of stress and conflicts that they experience.
Thank you to the trainers at EMDR Cambodia for providing the training.
A special thank you to all of the parents for taking the time to attend this event.

​សាលាហាន់ដាអាខាឌឺមីមានកិត្តិយសដែលបានទទួលរៀបចំធ្វើជាម្ចាស់ផ្ទះ អំពីសិក្ខាសាលាស្តីពី “សុខភាពផ្លូវចិត្ត “ ដឹកនាំដោយ EMDR Cambodia ទៅកាន់អាណាព្យាបាលរបស់សិស្ស និង​សហគមន៍របស់យើង។

អាណាព្យាបាលប្រមាណជា ៦០ រូប បានអញ្ចើញចូលរួមដើម្បីរៀនអំពី សុខភាពផ្លូវចិត្ត ជាលក្ខណៈសហគមន៍និងបានចែកចាយអំពីបញ្ហាដែលពួកគាត់ប្រឈម។

នៅក្នុងសិក្ខាសាលា ពួកយើងបានរៀនសូត្រថា ក្រុមគ្រួសារបានទទួលរងនូវផលប៉ះទង្គិចចេញពីការព្រួយបារម្ភនិងបញ្ហាតានតឹងរបស់ពួកគេ។ ការជជែកគ្នាជាមួយមិត្តភក្តិដែលអាចទុកចិត្តបាន ចំនាយពេលជាមួយនឹងធម្មជាតិ ការសម្មាធិ និងចំនាយពេលជាមួយក្រុមគ្រួសារ គឺជាមធ្យោបាយដែលមានសុខភាពល្អ ក្នុងការដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាប្រឈមទាំងនោះ។ ជូនចំពោះសហគមន៍របស់យើងដែលត្រូវការការពិភាក្សាពីបញ្ហាផ្លូវចិត្ត អាចទាក់ទងទៅកាន់អ្នកពិក្សាយោបល់របស់ EMDR ដែលមានបទពិសោធន៍ក្នុងការផ្តល់ការគាំទ្រដល់អ្នកបាន។

យើងពិតជារីករាយដែលបានឃើញការរស់នៅរបស់សិស្សមានការផ្លាស់ប្តូរតាមរយៈការធ្វើការរួមគ្នារវាងលោកគ្រូ អ្នកគ្រូ និងអាណាព្យាបាលសិស្ស ក្នុងការការពារពួកគេចេញពីឥទ្ធិពលនៃភាពតានតឹងនិងជម្លោះដែលគម្រាមកំហែង ដែលពួកគេបានឆ្លងកាត់។

សូមអរគុណដល់សមាជិកនៃ EMDR Cambodia ដែលបានធ្វើឱ្យសិក្ខាសិលានេះកើតឡើង។​

ក៏សូមអរគុណជាពិសេសចំពោះអាណាព្យាបាលទាំងអស់ដែលបានចំនាយពេលវេលាដ៏មានតម្លៃក្នុងការចូលរួមក្នុងកម្មវិធីនេះផងដែរ។

Happy World Teacher's Day to this amazing group of teachers. They work tirelessly to meet all the needs of our students. At The Handa Academy learning doesn't end in the classroom. Our teachers are mentors providing guidance, love, and social support for our students. They are dedicated to providing the best education and opportunities for our students. They are changing the world one student at a time!

For our Field Trip this year we took our students to the Sopheak Mongkol Water Park. The students enjoyed the slides, swimming on the rafts and the wave pool.

The Teachers and Students at The Handa Academy were honored to welcome Mr. Taichi Kho​ to our school, On July 10, 2025. The students were excited to learn about golf and take some shots with Mr. Taichi Kho.

សិស្សានុសិស្សមានសេចក្តីរំភើបរីករាយដែលបានស្វែងយល់អំពីកីឡាវាយកូនហ្គោល និងបានអនុវត្តផ្ទាល់ជាមួយលោក Taichi Kho​​ ផងដែរ ។

On July 9, 2025 we were honored to receive a visit from Mr. Lyndon Terracini, the former Artistic Director of Opera Australia, at The Handa Academy. Lyndon Terracini is an award-winning Australian baritone singer and arts leader who, as Opera Australia’s director from 2009–2022, transformed the company through innovation and expanded its impact.
During his visit he sang opera for the students and played the piano. The students at The Handa Academy welcomed Mr. Terracini by performing the song "We are the World".

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៩ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ពួកយើងមានកិត្តិយសដែលបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍លោក Lyndon Terracini ដែលជាអតីតអគ្គនាយកនៃក្រុមហ៊ុនចម្រៀងសិល្បៈបែបអូប៉េរ៉ាប្រចាំប្រទេសអូស្រ្តាលី មកកាន់សាលាហាន់ដាអាខាឌឺមី។ លោក Lyndon Terracini គឺជាអ្នកចម្រៀងបារីតុនអូស្រ្តាលីដែលបានទទួលពានរង្វាន់ និងជាអ្នកដឹកនាំសិល្បះផងដែរ។ ក្នុងនាមជាប្រធានក្រុមហ៊ុន Opera Australia នាអំឡុងឆ្នាំ២០០៩ ដល់២០២២​ លោកបានអភិវឌ្ឍនិងពង្រីកវិសាលភាពក្រុមហ៊ុនតាមរបស់ការច្នៃប្រឌិតរបស់លោក។
អំឡុងពេលទស្សនកិច្ច លោកបានច្រៀងចម្រៀងអូប៉េរ៉ានិងលេងព្យាណូដល់សិស្សានុសិស្សផងដែរ។ សិស្សានុសិស្សនៃសាលាហាន់ដាអាខាឌឺមីក៏បានទទួលស្វាគមន៍លោក Lyndon Terracini ដោយបានសម្តែងចម្រៀងមួយបទដែលមានចំណងជើងថា “ We are the world ” ។
