Educational Advisor Student Council at IHSM organized a poster competition to reflect upon the APS Peshawar Massacre-Black Day (16th December 2014).

The students gave an overwhelming response and presented some heart-touching paintings that took the observers back to that unfortunate and dark day. The vivid artworks served as poignant reminders of the resilience and unity that emerged from the tragedy.

The following students received positions for their impactful posters:

2nd Position: Rubab Ahmad
3rd Position: Aneeqa Hazrat

Their creative expressions not only commemorate the lives lost but also emphasize the importance of unity in the face of adversity. These artworks stand as a testament to the unwavering spirit of IHSM students in remembering and honoring the pursuit of knowledge.

8 years ago today, on 16th December 2014 world's fifth deadliest school massacre took place in Army Public School, Peshawar. It was the highest death toll of children in the world in a single terrorists attack. Today we convey our deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of this heinous act and to their families, and stand with them in solidarity. We pray that the right of every child to have access to education in a safe learning environment is ensured.
