The Union of Kyrgyz Banks - is association of commercial banks, specialized financial and credit institutions, operating on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as international organizations and their representations. The main mission of the Union of banks of Kyrgyzstan is protection of rights and interests of members of Association. The members of the Union of Kyrgyz Banks are 22 commer
cial banks, 3 large microfinance companies, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, also associate members are the International Finance Corporation and the International Business Council. The main tasks of the Union of Kyrgyz banks are the development, discussion and lobbying of legislative and normative acts affecting the interests of the members of the Union of banks, making proposals thereon to the appropriate authorities of the state power and control, expertise of bills, interact with their developers; providing members of the Union of banks with organizational, informational and analytical, methodical, legal and other assistance etc. According to its objectives, the Union of Kyrgyz Banks seeks after taking part in any kind of events, where it comes to the interest of financial and credit institutions, whether they are parliamentary hearings, meetings of the working and expert groups, conferences, official meetings, with a clear position on the question under discussion. One of the important activities of the Union is the development of Sustainable Finance Framework and the implementation of ESG-principles in the activities of financial institutions.
Союз банков Кыргызстана - это добровольное объединение коммерческих банков, филиалов и представительств банков-нерезидентов и специализированных финансово-кредитных учреждений, действующих на территории Кыргызской Республики на основании лицензии Национального банка Кыргызской Республики. Своими основными задачами Союза банков считает разработку, обсуждение и продвижение законодательных и нормативных актов, затрагивающих интересы участников Союза банков Кыргызстана, внесение предложений по ним в соответствующие органы государственной власти и управления, экспертиза законопроектов, взаимодействие с их разработчиками; оказание членам Союза банков организационной, информационно-аналитической, методической, правовой и иной помощи. Не маловажной деятельностью СБК, является развитие Устойчивого финансирования и внедрения принципов ESG в деятельности финансовых институтов.
