The work continues.... wait for the final output!

AMF Rescue Team has been on the ground carrying out cleanup and beautification works along Wesu Hospital Road. The ongoing exercise will also include installation of a modern 360° solar lighting system at the roundabout, beautification of the area, side pavement painting, and continuous cleanup activities.

As our founder Athanas Mbele says: “Solar lighting in our towns is not a luxury — it is security, business growth, dignity and hope for our people. A well-lit town creates a safer environment, supports small businesses at night, and inspires pride in the community. A beautiful and clean town is a reflection of a progressive and responsible society.”

Our mission is not only to clean and beautify spaces, but to create modern, safe and attractive towns that reflect the potential of our people.

After the Athanas Mbele Foundation initiated murraming works on the Mgange Dawida road, today we have witnessed strong collaboration between the private sector and the Government.

The Government responded promptly by deploying the road contractor Stecol Corporation with a grader, which has leveled the murram laid by the Athanas Mbele team and also shaped the side drainage to improve water flow and enhance the durability of the road.

The road is now in very good condition and easily passable.

This is a clear example of how effective collaboration between Government and private organizations can deliver impactful results for the community.

Thank you KeRRA, MP Wundanyi & National Government for the swift response and this productive partnership.

Today, the Athanas Mbele Foundation took decisive action to address the long-standing infrastructure challenges affecting the Mghange Dawida road, following concerns raised by residents over its poor condition.

In collaboration with the people of Mghange, a joint effort was undertaken to restore the road, which has frequently become impassable during rainy seasons, disrupting movement and livelihoods.

This timely intervention has been warmly welcomed by the community, renewing hope and demonstrating the impact of responsive and people-centered leadership.

A clear step forward in advancing dignity, accessibility, and local development.

Today, the Mbele Rescue Team carried out emergency first-aid repairs on the Mdundonyi–on the Wundanyi Mgange Road in an aim to restore access and ease movement for residents and transporters.

Keeping roads passable is critical—impassable roads disrupt livelihoods, limit access to healthcare and education, delay emergency services, and increase the cost of doing business for local communities.

This intervention helps maintain connectivity and safety as we await comprehensive rehabilitation by the National Government.
