Alumna Spotlight: Jada🥰🥰

Jada Amani, an alumna of the CBTAF program from the batch of 2024, has built a remarkable social media presence under the brand name jada.me.u. Through her platform, she aims to communicate that no experience in your early adulthood is too trivial to be voiced out.

Today, she continues to break new ground as both an international student at Bowdoin College and an online personality, proving that PACE fellowship truly prepares you for excellence anywhere in the world.

Reflecting on her fellowship experience, Jada Shared:
"The number one takeaway I got from my time at PACEMaker is that you can never be too scared when you are the vision bearer. You already have everything you need to be a changemaker, so do it."

This past week, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the Fellowship Class of 2026 in Uganda. Over the past six months, the 45 fellows who graduated from the program implemented 60 projects across 10 partner schools, transforming classrooms and communities through their exceptional commitment to education.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of them, and we wish them the very best in their next adventures.

A huge thank you to the School for Life Foundation, for the amazing collaboration and support that made this happen.

While serving as a teaching assistant at Joel Omino Primary School, Olga noticed that many learners in the classroom she was supporting arrived in the morning with either damp or warn out uniforms. Upon inquiry, she discovered that most of these learners owned only one set of school clothes, which had to be washed each evening after school. If the uniforms didn't dry overnight, the children had no choice but to put them on still wet the next morning.

Determined to make a difference, Olga reached out to family and friends and successfully raised enough funds to purchase new uniforms for 17 girls and 5 boys.
The distribution event was filled with excitement. For the children, these clothes offer more than comfort. They also bring confidence and the reassuring feeling that someone cares.

We are deeply grateful to Olga for making this thoughtful contribution possible and for bringing so much colour, care and happiness to these learners.

Introducing some of our 2026 fellows!

For over a decade , we have watched the CBTAF fellowship grow .This year alone, we placed over 150 fellows in classrooms across the country. Through their leadership, we have transformed the lives of over 296439 learners in underserved primary schools.

What makes the CBTAF program truly remarkable is the diversity of people involved . Every year, young people from all different backgrounds, experiences, and cultures join our fellowship program because they genuinely care about skills development , literacy, children and education in their communities.
The passion they bring is nothing short of inspiring. We can’t wait to watch them grow into the global leaders of tomorrow.

The Voices of Reason debate contest was the first of many.

Organized by PACEmaker International fellows from Basi Primary and Kiwandani Primary, the inaugural debate contest brought together over fifty students.

The day kicked off with a room full of young minds ready to debate and speak their hearts out. By the end, they left with sharpened voices, critical thinking skills, and deeper confidence.

A huge thank you to the teachers, the SHOFCO team who supported the event, and to the host school, Basi Primary School, who made this an ultimate experience for the learners.
This was the first one. But definitely not the last one.
We look forward to the next round this week at Kiwandani Primary School.
