"Ryan, a bright but physically challenged learner, had struggled to find her footing in class. She couldn't read or write like her peers, and it was clear she felt like an outsider. But I was determined to make her feel seen and valued. I started tutoring, involving her in activities, giving her small leadership roles, and offering plenty of encouragement. At first, she was hesitant, but slowly her confidence grew. She started participating in class, smiling, and even helping her peers. Her transformation was incredible - from a shy, withdrawn student to a happy, engaged learner. Seeing Ryan thrive, her parents were initially thrilled, but they eventually decided to explore other options, seeking a school that could better accommodate her unique needs. Though it was tough to see her go, knowing she'd have a chance to reach her full potential made it worth it. Ryan's story is a testament to the power of inclusive teaching and the impact it can have on a student's life ." Jackline Chepchirchir - TEN teacher
