Join us this Thursday for an important conversation on water, sanitation, and their deep connection to climate justice.

We’ll explore how climate change intensifies challenges around clean water and safe sanitation, disproportionately affecting vulnerable communities. From floods that contaminate drinking supplies to droughts that limit access, these issues highlight why climate justice must also mean equitable access to life’s most basic needs.

This discussion will bring together perspectives on resilience, sustainability, and fairness—because protecting our planet also means protecting people.

LIVE-EX Launch Event recap 🌍✨

The LIVE-EX Launch Event brought together mentors, mentees, partner organisations, and National Committees from different regions to share where the programme stands and what has already been achieved.

We heard powerful experiences from mentors and mentees in Zimbabwe and Kenya, learned how organisations in Tanzania and beyond are turning ideas into real local action, and looked at LIVE-EX’s progress and impact in 2025. The conversation ended with clear next steps for partners and an open exchange of questions and reflections.

A strong reminder that real impact happens when people connect, share knowledge, and act together across borders. 🤝🌱

It’s always special when former volunteers come to Visit … Rosa was with us in 2019 -2020 and is back visiting her host family …

She gifted our incoming volunteers this wonderful piece of literature which she states “Is a must read for everyone! As well for the volunteers venturing to do their IVS in Africa as for anyone else. The Nigerian author Dipo Faloyin creates a wonderful balance between challenging our unconscious biases and telling new, accurate stories from the African continent. At the same time Faloyin gives an overview of colonial history and its impact up to today without making it boring to read in any way.“
