Today, we shared more than a meal. We shared hope, care and dignity with children. Every plate served is a reminder of what is possible when compassionate individuals and partners come together to support a child's wellbeing.

We are grateful to everyone who makes these moments possible. Your generosity helps ensure that children have access to nutritious meals and a brighter future. Together, we can continue creating lasting impact, one meal at a time.

Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, over 100 women from Kibera came together at The Centre of Love Foundation for a powerful session on menstrual hygiene awareness, shared experiences, and empowerment.

At The NGAO Foundation, our mission through WASH programs is to promote dignity, health, clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for every community, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals on health, gender equality, and clean water access.

Today, Oloishorua celebrated more than a borehole launch, we celebrated hope, answered prayers, and a future with clean, safe water closer to home.

What was once a daily struggle is now a lasting source of life and dignity for the community.

Thank you to every partner, donor, and community member who made this transformation possible. Together, we are changing lives.

We are deeply honored and grateful to be featured in Rotary International People of Action Magazine.

This recognition means so much, not just to us, but to the entire community we serve. Together, we’ve been able to install a fully functional solar-powered borehole reaching 320 meters deep, along with two 10,000-litre water tanks, bringing clean and reliable water closer to home for families who once had to walk long distances to access it.

We are incredibly thankful for the support, collaboration, and shared belief that made this possible. Every step taken, every hand involved, and every contribution has helped turn a long-standing challenge into a lasting solution.

Moments like these remind us that real impact is built together, with compassion, commitment, and community at the center.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

A Roof of Hope: The NGAO Foundation Day of Service

On May 9th, 2026, the road to Kibiko will not just carry people—it will carry purpose.

At The NGAO Foundation, there is a quiet but powerful belief: that every person holds value, and every community carries within it the strength to rise. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment—one act of unity—to awaken that strength.

Elizabeth, a mother of six, stands at such a moment.

Her home, once a place of warmth, now stands vulnerable to the elements. Her children, full of dreams and laughter, need more than hope—they need shelter. And in this moment, her story becomes our story.

Because service is not about giving from abundance—it is about showing up when it matters most.

On this day, hands will gather not as individuals, but as a community. Some will carry timber, others nails, others water, others simply the willingness to stand beside Elizabeth and say, “You are not alone.” And as the walls rise and a roof takes shape, something even greater will be built—dignity, belonging, and renewed hope.

This is the heartbeat of The NGAO Foundation.

Not charity, but shared humanity.
Not just building a house, but restoring a home.
Not just helping a family, but strengthening a community.

So come.

Come with your hands, your heart, your friends.
Come and be part of something bigger than all of us.
Come and help put a roof over Elizabeth’s house—and a future over her children’s heads.

Because sometimes, changing the world begins with something as simple, and as profound, as a roof.
