Back to school moments don’t have to come with anxiety💫
They can, and should, be filled with joy, enthusiasm, and great moments as we look forward to the term ahead.
This past weekend, we celebrated our 13th Back to School Edition, and it was one for the books 🥳
Under the theme “Back to School, Back to Confidence,” we brought together an incredible community of young learners, a few parents and mentors for an afternoon of connection, encouragement, and pure fun.
We had;
Talk Sessions – Real conversations that matter on
· Personal Identity – Helping young people understand who they are, own their stories, and walk into the new term with self-assurance.
· Personal & Menstrual Hygiene – Open, shame-free discussions about managing their bodies and periods with dignity, especially while at school.
· Introduction to Reusable Sanitary Products – We had an introduction on cost-effective alternatives that keep girls in class with confidence.
Games & Icebreakers – From team challenges to laugh out loud moments, we saw shy smiles turn into full-on laughter.
Snacks & Smiles – Because everything’s better on a full belly. Snack treats and happy break-time vibes are very necessary 😅
Colour Festival – The highlight of the day! A burst of pinks, blues, yellows, and blues flying through the air, symbolizing the beauty of showing up as your true, confident self 💃🏾
No anxiety. No pressure. Just joy, color, community, and practical tools to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, showed out, supported and threw color like confetti. You made our 13th edition unforgettable.
