Swiss Poll International, a public opinion research and consultancy organisation, has released its October 2026 tracking figures for the Wajir gubernatorial race ahead of the 2027 General Election.
According to the poll, Dr Hassan Fuje records 42%, followed by Hon. Ahmed Kolosh at 21%, while 37% fall under other candidates and undecided respondents.
With a significant share yet to make up their minds, the race remains open to changing voter preferences. The figures reflect reported opinions among sampled Wajir residents and are not a guaranteed prediction of the 2027 election outcome.

Hon. Mahfuda deserves credit for investing in youth through sports.
But where are the Tarbaj constituency MCAs across the four wards? Our youth need leaders who show up, organize tournaments, and support local talent not just during campaigns. Tarbaj constituency youth deserve action, too!
