Madam, instead of blaming CS Duale for the political challenges you are facing, perhaps it is time to listen to the people and reflect on your own record.

Tarbaj Constituency should not feel forgotten. When a Women Representative visits Sarman only once during an entire term, questions about accessibility and representation are legitimate.

The hostile reception and the people’s chanting of “One Term, It’s Over” should not be dismissed or blamed on others. Sometimes the ground is simply speaking.

This is not about attacking anyone. It is about accountability, representation and giving Wajir women a fair choice in 2027.

Let women compete. Let voters decide. Let leadership be earned.

Wajir has always stood for both education and culture.

This graduation celebration was a beautiful reminder of that. Young men and women came together in the spirit of unity, celebrating their achievement with the lively Balaqley dance and the familiar chant of "Faqir Malaha Fai Damantis." It was a proud display of a culture that continues to thrive alongside education.

For decades, Wajir has been at the forefront of learning in the former Northern Frontier District (NFD). Wajir Primary School, established in 1948, was among the region's earliest schools, and by 1953, Wajir had become home to the NFD's first Intermediate School, helping educate generations of teachers, professionals, and community leaders.

The message from this graduation is simple: earning an education doesn't mean leaving your culture behind. The two can grow together.

Congratulations to all the graduates! May Allah (SWT) bless your knowledge, grant you success in this life and the Hereafter, open doors of halal opportunities, and make you a source of benefit to your families, communities, and the Ummah. Aamiin.

DCI boss Amin Mohamed names police officers involved in the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso.

Elijah Kimoi from Karinde police station has been identified as the officer who pulled the trigger, killing Dr Victoria.

Kenneth Kipkemboi from Kikuyu police station was involved in the coordination of the murder.

Other suspects are Kelvin Ngugi who was the rider of the motorbike and Daniel Mwangi Njoroge who was the driver of the Prado.

RiggyG had threatened to name the two officers a few minutes before Amin's presser. Gachagua gave details of the officers including their stations, but did not name them.

UPDATE: The Rerow Mohamed (RM) delegates have concluded voting to select a single candidate for the Wajir gubernatorial race.

According to the announced results:

* Ahmed Kolosh – 50 votes
* Yahya Dahiye – 4 votes
* Omar Sheikh – 2 votes

Ahmed Kolosh secured an overwhelming majority, receiving 50 out of 56 delegate votes.
