1. By listening to vernacular radio stations and watching TV, you begin to see how cruel the system truly is.

2. In the morning, they advertise pesticides, herbicides, animal supplements, and betting, selling poison and false hope in equal measure.

3. By evening, doctors come on air to talk about the same diseases that those products cause.

4. At night, the programs turn into lists of death and funeral announcements, names of fathers, mothers, and children who did not make it.

5. Then comes the weekend. Politicians who should be making laws to protect life instead attend funerals and funds drives, holding microphones with empty promises, pretending to care, as families cry over preventable pain.

6. It is a painful cycle. They sell sickness, manage suffering, and mourn the dead, all on the same airwaves.

7. Some farmers even grow organic food for their own homes but sell the sprayed and poisoned produce to the rest of us. They think they are being clever, yet their own children eat the same cabbage in school. A vicious circle. Being clever by half and destroying the future one meal at a time.

8. And the saddest part is how citizens, broken by the same system, still clap, cheer, and mention the leaders who “sent something small to stand with the family.” They praise the very people who should have prevented the suffering in the first place.

9. And in between those programs, the only thing that grows is profit.

10. At the end of the day, we must face the truth , WE ARE ON OUR OWN .

11. If we do not wake up, protect ourselves, and care for our families, no one else will. The system is not broken. It was built this way.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THIS👇👇

1. Buy seasonal Ukambani mangoes. My mashemeji..Real fruit, full of life, not stored in cold rooms for six months. Not those waxed supermarket apples that look angelic but whisper chemical lies.

2. That saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” retired long ago.In this age, an apple a day increases your hospital visits. You’re eating shiny poison, not nutrition.

3. That kachumbari you mix with pride .
It’s raw glyphosate, marinated in pesticide residue from dying soils.

4. Those sausages and smokies . Don’t be fooled. There’s no meat there, just cornstarch, soy powder, red dye, and lab flavoring pressed into a shape your hunger recognizes.

5. That tomato sauce you baptize your fries in ..
No tomatoes there, just sugar, color, starch, and chemical flavor pretending to be what it’s not.

6. That packed fruit juice you sip proudly . No fruit there either, only syrup, citric acid, and a mango dream that never existed.

7. And that red plum jam you spread on your bread . No real plums there, just industrial sugar, gelatin, and red coloring painted with the word “jam.” You’re eating fruit-flavored lies.

8. That grain fed beef is chemical choma. The cow ate poison, and you’re the final consumer in the food chain of regret.

9. Nature gives real food. Industry sells edible fiction.

10. Eat like you want to live, not like you’re paying installments for your illness.

11. And yes, we shall all die even if we avoid all this. But must you pay monthly subscriptions to your death plan through food?

12. Always use your kongosity well.

Appetizer Verrines with Candied Cherry Tomatoes, Mozzarella and Basil
Delicious appetizer verrines with candied cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil. A refined Italian recipe that combines the sweetness of caramelized tomatoes with the freshness of mozzarella, perfect for wowing your guests at a cocktail reception.

Ingredients
300g cherry tomatoes, firm and fragrant
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 pinch caster sugar
Fleur de sel
Freshly ground black pepper
150g buffalo mozzarella or burrata
6 fresh basil leaves, plump and fragrant
Balsamic cream, optional for finishing

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). Wash and gently dry the cherry tomatoes, then cut them in half widthwise.
Arrange the tomato halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut side up. Drizzle with olive oil, sugar, fleur de sel, and pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until lightly caramelized. Let cool completely.
Drain the mozzarella and cut it into irregular 1-2 cm cubes. Season lightly with olive oil and fleur de sel.

Place the mozzarella in the bottom of the glasses and drizzle with 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil to create a golden brown layer.
Add 3-4 sun-dried tomato halves per glass, then top with the remaining mozzarella.
Tear the fresh basil over the glasses and arrange gently. Add a few drops of balsamic cream if desired.
Chill for 15-30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.

Notes
This recipe is best prepared in the morning for evening serving. The sun-dried tomatoes can be prepared the day before. Serve at room temperature to reveal all the flavors. Accompany with breadsticks or teaspoons for easy serving.
